Do not go with this company at all; they are unprofessional, provide no site visit and just throw away your job like if it is a low priority. My job is originally scheduled for June 10th, pushed to 17th, then 18th, then 24th and then they told us they couldn't do it. My name is Roger from Kingston. I hired Ryan Engleson and his corporation, RHE Electric, to wire a new construction house for me. This company has children working for them. They don't know how to communicate with each other which led to them opening a large hole in my new house to find an outlet that they ran and couldn't find later after the dry wall was installed. All the man had to do was call his co-worker who ran the wire. Instead this man chose to tear down my living room wall to find the outlet. Then the same man threatens me outside in my own driveway when I chewed him out for not taking the right steps to find his outlet. That's just the beginning .... He installed a chandelier in the foyer way at a height of 16ft. and it had dust all over it and was mounted crooked. Other lights mounted in wrong spots. Other lights had plastic still on them after being installed. The Septic Pump was installed and didn't work. They had to come back and fix this issue and many more. Here is the big one .... 43 outlets total in the house and 21 of them were as loose as a saggy diaper. When I say loose I mean it. The outlets would move around and half of all the Kitchen outlets were tripping the breakers. Many of the wires connecting to the outlets were loose also. I've been a builder for 32 years and have never seen anything like this company. Let it be known I saw Ryan on this job site ONCE ! He talked the talk and walked the walk but in the end him AND HIS ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR took me for a ride. Ryan in fact blamed me for having to many service calls and to not call him again. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why he was mad at me when its his men doing SUB-STANDARD work. Its not even sub-standard its just wrong. This man and his company are dangerous ! If been a contractor for 35 years. I believe Ryan is about 35 years old. I have never seen anything like this guy and his company RHE Electric. TRUST ME they are a bunch of children that he hires from craigslist. I am taking this straight to the Electrical Inspector who Inspected this job and I'm going to want both of their Licenses on the chopping block in Court !!! read more

FULL DISCLOSURE: We gave RHE Electric a heads up on this negative post as recently as yesterday to see if they would respond. They did not. RHE Electric was hired to provide multiple outlet installs, run a cable and ethernet line to our basement from the living room and install Moraccan lanterns in the basement. We have spent the better part of the last two months attempting to reach Ryan, the owner, in an effort to call us to address the outstanding issues. It is unfortunate to state this but once RHE Electric received payment, we never heard from them again. It was not until late summer when we continued with the basement renovations that DirecTV discovered that not only had the cable lines been run incorrectly but the ethernet line was wrong as well as the wall outlet. They installed a phone jack instead of a ethernet jack. The cable and ethernet wires were not connected to anything and had been exposed to the elements outside for six months corroding them. Ryan was so polite through the entire process when he was here. We never heard back from Ryan regarding the lantern installation. We basically paid $825.00 for a few outlets to be installed and good conversation. read more

Made appointment 3 weeks in advance for outlet replacement and outside outlet install. On the day of I called to see what time they would arrive. Was told they couldn't make it that day, is it good if we come tomorrow? Was told electrician would be there around 10:30. Well, 48 hrs later no electrician or phone call even after calling 2 times during day of appointment or should I say 2nd appointment. Complete disappointment read more

If I could give no stars to this company, I would! In July of this year, the lights in my house were flickering on and off. I called my home warranty company to come and see what was wrong with it. Upon inspection, they informed me that they were unable to do the work due to improper installation of the panel. The problem was that they installed old breakers into the new panel - two wires were hooked up on one breaker. Not only is it labeled incorrectly, he did not use a correct panel cover. I have tried to reach him over and over to come and correct the problem, and have even spoken with his office several times, only to get the "he will call you back" response. I finally spoke to him directly on 9/20 and he informed me that he would be at my home at 2:15 pm that same day. To date, 9/26, I have yet to see him, or even get the courtesy of a phone call. I have called repeatedly since then, each and every time I am told "he will call you back in 5 minutes." I asked another Licensed Electrician to come and see what could be done, and was informed that he could not locate this so-called panel that was installed, and would therefore have to charge me $1,500.00 to correct something that should have been done right the first time. Due to the lack of respect and RHE's unprofessional handling of my issue, I have no other option but to seek legal remedies. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! read more
