It's even more pressing now as basement contractors are coming soon and they need more space to work. I made the appointment, then called in to get another at the last minute as I was concerned one trip might not be enough. No problem. The team lead, Steven, checked in twice before appt., including once to let me know they were 10 minutes out. The team arrived right on time and parked with respect to mine and my neighbor's properties. The team consisted of three polite, professional young men -- Spencer, Aaron and Basim, (have to make sure they get the shout out they deserve). Spencer took a look at what was to go and gave me a firm estimate, (which he said I could make less if I wanted fewer things moved). Not necessary; it was an extremely reasonable price. They got to work immediately and didn't stop until it was all out. It took less than 30 min. for something I was sure would take them the full two hour time slot. Aaron even took the time to ask me if I was sure I wanted to toss two old license plates -- noting that once they were tossed some less than law abiding person might take the opportunity to attach them to their own car. Big oops on my part! Big thanks to Aaron! The next appt. is a few days away and I'm sure they'll do another great job.

In this case, supporting was relatively easy as they also presented an excellent value for their services. Also, huge props to Tom, our hauler, who was our age - fortyfiftysomething, Army vet, who hauled all our junk out of our basement without help as his partner never showed. Army strong is not just a slogan. The Reverend of course helped out, but mostly it was Tom doing a hero's job. He was also prompt, friendly, courteous and very thorough. So why 4 stars? Communication with the franchisee could have been better, though we learned that the day before our service, the franchise had been sold to another owner. That may have been why, the last owner was what we call a "short-timer" in military parlance. We would absolutely use JDog again, not just because of their veteran-owned status, but because they provided a great service at a very reasonable price.
