I called at ten am and spoke to Rafi and I was able to see the doctor in one hour to relieve my pain . After moving here four years ago it's always a dreaded job finding new providers. Not this time! He is stellar! He is so on top of his game and so very kind and humble as well! I went to Dr. Hendry's office in September with a failed root canal and was told that they would check my insurance and call me shortly with the details for an implant procedure. I called back in October, and they said they hadn't heard from my insurance yet. I called back in December, then January and was assured that I would have a call back to schedule my procedure. It is now the middle of March and someone finally called with my "treatment plan". This is the same "treatment plan" that they quoted me back in September. I even kept the copies. My tooth was removed by another dentist two weeks ago, and their "treatment plan" is a third of the cost of this facility. Sorry, I would never refer anyone to this office. I have been going to Irina - one of their hygienists - for almost a decade and she has repeatedly been an amazing source of knowledge with her insights (and treatment) for both my oral care and preventative measures. I have been going to Dr. Hendry for several years. He was referred by my dentist of many years to replace an old permanent bridge with implants and then laser surgery for gingivitis. I've had several other procedures and still have a cleaning there every six months. i was referred here by my dentist. The staff are all warm, friendly and fantastic. I found it odd, that Tyler Hendry's wife and kids were in the office and the technician that x-rayed me had to constantly work her way around them. They didn't seem to give a crap whether they were in the way. Secondly, the carpet was dirty. If i'm having surgery there's no way i'm having it performed in an office with dirty, stained carpet. Ewww. And i was charged for a consultation in these conditions. I eventually went with the Center for Advanced Periodontal & Implant Therapy on the Westside. Better pricing and hyper clean offices. Went to Dr. Hendry when my regular Dentist, Alex Alberian, DDS referred me for my gingivitis. Dr. Hendry has all of the latest devices and techniques, took an x- Ray that did my entire mouth in one sweep! He then treated the gingivitis with laser. Painless compared to earlier treatment where they removed hunks of my gums. Just had my annual check- up and I am free of gingivitis. He and his staff were very friendly, helpful, professional, and effective! read more

I was referred to Dr. Hendry for a crown lengthening (jaw bone shaving to ensure better fitting crown). Before my visit I was scared a lot, based on how bad the procedure sounds and how awful the internet articles about the crown lengthening are. Let me start by mentioning that offices were very clean and with that sterility feeling. I was greeted by the doctor's assistant Helen, who was the most nice and thoughtfull assistant I ever met in dental offices. I really felt her exceptional care and attitude in getting me relaxed and comfortable. The other minor but important thing I noticed is that their x-ray shielding cover had the extra collar area covering your neck. Feels good to be safer. So... here comes Dr. Hendry. Friendly, answered my concerens/questions. While I was worried and was asking may be too many questions, I felt his confidence that this is another easy procedure for him. Anyway, he used some electronic syringe for the local anesthesia, and after I felt numb, started the procedure. I HAVEN'T FELT ANY PAIN AT ALL. Can you imagine this excelent surprise when I was anticipating "jaw bone shaving" ! All went well and very quick. I even didn't have any pain after the anesthesia wore off. I followed all care instructions for the following weeks, and did not have any issues, except a little fever (and may be slight infection) a couple of days later, which probably was because I did not take an antibiotic. After a few weeks, I went back and Dr. Hendry removed the sutures. Another painless procedure that took 15 seconds. Bottom line, if I ever need a periodontic service, I will defenitely choose Dr. Hendry and his office. read more

I usually have to psych myself up for this, but I don't feel this way with Liz. She makes you feel comfortable from the very start. She is gentle and extremely thorough. I hand an appointment for may 29th I was not able to make the appointment attempted to call on Friday may 25th to cancel but because it was holiday weekend the office the office decided to close closed Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday on the recording it said leaving a message would not count as cancelation was upset when you guys left me a voicemail reminding me of the appointment Thursday but you didn't mention you would be closed because of the long holiday weekend since Friday .. then I receive a invoice for 50$ in the mail for not showing up to the appointment , I attempted to call and explain what happened since there was no answer I left a msg requesting a call back and no one called back read more

My wife and I have been patients at this practice since May, 2010. We were referred by our primary care dentist for gum surgery. Although our surgery was done by Dr. Goldman (who has retired from this practice) we have continued to see Dr. Hendry. He recently extracted one of my teeth and will be doing an implant. We've had our cleanings done here because the hygienist does an excellent job. Dr. Hendry takes the time to explain things thoroughly, answer any questions and makes sure that the procedure is painless. Dr Hendry took over from Dr Goldman who took over from Dr Gavron - that's how long I've been with this office. It's always worrisome when you've been seeing the same periodontist for many years and the practice gets sold, but Dr Hendry is a worthy successor to both his predecessors - he's terrific!
