However, I've always thought the mark of a good business is what they do to rectify less than ideal situations, and Bobby, the manager, came through! I bought a new set of tires for my FJR from RevZilla, who are now owned by the same company as CG. Because of this, mounting tires at CG cost the same, whether the were bought at RZ or CG. Took the tires in, got them back the next day, everything looked fine after I remounted the wheels, and took it on a short ride. A few days ago, I opened my garage door to see that one of the sets of wheel weights was on the floor. Damn! I didn't want to take the wheel off again, and take it back to CG, so called and talked to Bobby, explaining the situation, and proposing that he refund me the charge for mounting that tire, and I would simply use balance beads, which I could put in here, with the wheel on the bike. Bobby said he would do me one better and refund the charges for both wheels. He stated that he had been seeing some issues with wheel weights, so they were doing a review on the process, and also checking to see if they got a bad batch of weights. It was a less than ideal situation, but Bobby did me right!

Had an oil leak at the cylinder head. Finally found Rathbone a couple of years ago. Trevor and the crew were able to diagnose the issue and told me what had to happen (engine had to come out to fix the seals in the head). Ordered a complete seal kit and replaced all the seals in the engine, cleaned and adjusted the carbs, tuned, etc. Great work. The bike has run like a watch. Starts right up, no leaks cold or hot.

You are greeted outside by a very real looking woman mannequin. The shop is in a small looking house but don't let that fool you. There is a lot of leather goods in there! I went in for a pair of brown leather chaps which are very hard to find. He had 3 different styles. The shop owner helped me pick out the right size. I bought a pair of nice chaps with removable liner. I felt the price was very reasonable. They take Visa, MC & Discover but not AMEX. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for high quality motorcycle leather at a very good price.

When I needed a new coat 2 years ago I went to see Jeff. When I needed to get a zipper replaced I went to see Jeff. He isn't concerned about just making a sale, but he seems like he wants to make a customer. He helped me get warranty replacement on my broken jacket zipper instead of just trying to sell another coat, and I appreciate that. I came in to look at a used motorcycle and while I appreciate the staff taking the time to let me…read moreview and test ride the bike, the overall presentation and experience fell far short of what you'd expect when spending that kind of money. The motorcycle had obvious cosmetic drop damage (scuffed clutch cover, exhaust, and bar end), which I understand can happen on used inventory and I was told about before hand because I noticed a scuff on the clutch cover so I asked the shop owner about it. What concerned me was the complete lack of basic preparation and presentation: the bike was dusty/dirty, and both the rear brake reservoir and coolant were sitting right on the low line. If a shop asks for top-dollar pricing, basic fluid top-offs and wiping down the machine should be the bare minimum standard before putting it on the floor. When I asked about coverage or warranty options for peace of mind regarding the drop history, I was told they don't offer extended warranties because "it's a used bike and you never know when an engine might blow," beyond a basic 30-day dealer guarantee. Expecting a buyer to take on 100% of the long-term risk on a tipped-over machine without even properly prepping or topping off the fluids doesn't build confidence in their intake or inspection process. I chose to walk away and hold onto my money. I recommend future buyers thoroughly inspect any pre-owned inventory here before making a deal.

Horrible CS and even worse management who lie to hurt their customers…read more Not only is their shipping atrociously slow (11 days to ship and 18 days to deliver - far outside of the times for UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail as noted on their website)... Not only do they not take any responsibility for delays and blame 'outside warehouses' when the customer inquires about the delay... Not only do they try to force customers to pay return shipping and restock fees when the customer finally requests a return/refund because their item arrived far too late to be of use... Not only do they stonewall the customer when they request a full refund... but then, after 20 days of the customer trying to resolve via email, when the customer finally is so tired that they submit a charge back with their credit card due to hugely delayed shipping and refusal to accept a full return without return shipping or restock fees... then they have the GALL to claim IN WRITING that the customer never contacted them to try to resolve the matter in the first place !!! Blatantly lying to a credit card company when there is a long chain of emails that says otherwise. I sent these emails to my CC provider and they immediately saw what was happening and credited me. The owner/boss is evidently ok with lying to hurt customers. Just incredible. Never again. DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE PEOPLE - save yourself the headache!!

In particular, Eric in sales is without a doubt my favorite salesman I've ever dealt with about a motorcycle.
