I enjoyed the bowl so the second night we did 2 beef plates with avocado. The owner was very responsive to a simple error in the order via the Yelp/Chow Now app and I was impressed with his willingness to fix the mistake. We like the simplicity of protein, rice, and veggie. It hits the spot and is very quick to order and pick up. I enjoyed the sauce to meat ratio of the beef because many times it is too saucy. I am sure if you love food with extra sauce you could ask for some. My teenager loved the chicken Katsu and left nothing on his plate. He was satisfied and didn't need more food. That can be a challenge for parents with teenage boys with a bottomless pit. There is corn, rice, salad, and 2 wontons in the Katsu and beef plates. In the beef bowl was corn and rice. We ordered from them before when they first opened and enjoyed the 3 rolls for $15. We miss that deal but to be honest the plates and bowls are plenty of food for us. We would share it among 3 of us and have left over plate/bowls. The rolls had soft rice with plenty of fillings and worth eating if you don't want a huge meal. Thank you for having great food and a commitment to customer service.

Ordering was easy and we sat in their dining room while our food was being prepared. The dining room was clean and tidy, but very simply decorated with folding tables; all were half booth, half chair situations The menu is simple and to the point. Selection is limited, but with just enough variety. We chose the Korean Beef plate and the California rolls. The Korean Beef was very good and is served with a small side salad and a couple of dumplings. The dumplings were quite tasty as well. The California rolls had all of the typical components of a California roll, but in place of the usual shredded krab, they use a krab stick. Because of that difference, the opinion on this one is undecided. Didn't hate it, but didn't particularly like it either. In spite of the rolls, the plate was a hit. Perhaps next time we'll try different sushi and see how that goes.

Review 8/365 Day Challenge…read more What a long and awaited review for our local Raising canes in our neighboring city.Known for their chicken tenders. Realize I've never reviewed RC. My kids love Raising canes. I've only gone here for take outs at the drive thru. When there is a long line at drive thru. It's pretty decent time and we get our items we ordered in a timely manner. Don't let the lines in the drive thru scare you from going. Associates are friendly here. The exterior outdoor of the fast food restaurant looks nice and clean. Outdoor seatings available with the nice bistro lights hanging overhead. Chicken tenders are always warm and crispy. Yummy and satisfying for the kids. The sweet tea and lemonade is good and refreshing. Definitely recommend RC for a kids and adult favorites.

It's definitely a must-eat with that tangy Cane's sauce! *Toast: On big cheat days, I get it BOB style (Butter On Both sides). It's so good, so buttery, crispy outside and soft inside, but definitely something I have to space out. *Coleslaw: Cane's was actually the first place where I tried and enjoyed coleslaw! I love having something cold and crisp to balance the hot chicken and sides. I look forward to this side the most out of the three because it's a little more uncommon in a quick service restaurant. *Fries: The crinkle-cut fries are always abundant, I've never felt like I didn't have enough fries. Sometimes they lean a little too soft for me since I prefer extra-crispy fries, but they still hit the spot. This location is right across from a high school, so I usually avoid coming during school hours. Personally, it's more of my dinner or late-night spot. The area is safe, the place is kept clean, and the staff has always been so friendly.

This is my new go to place for pizza and I've been telling my fellow foodies in the area about it…read more Let me preface this review by saying that I'm usually a Pizza Hut customer and had been pretty happy with my local location, great pizza, frequent discounts and friendly service. I came across Pizza Guys, because my child's school was running a fundraiser here, so I didn't have high expectations, I mean, it's a fundraiser after all... Wow was I in for a surprise! There are 3 reasons why I would give a restaurant my business, all 3 reasons being equally important. One, it has to be yummy. The pizza here was surprisingly yummy and they didn't skimp on the toppings! Two, the price has to be right. The prices were reasonable and when they run a sale, I am getting excellent value for my money. Three, it should have decent service at a minimum. This is where it blew me away! The service here was not only excellent, it was the kind that retains customers and loyalty. In fact, I will buy from this location regardless of whether there was an active sale at the time and even if the location is out of my way. The people at the Katella location are usually friendly and nice. However, the dynamic duo that has earned my loyalty to this location are Bruno and Josh. Long story short, my kids like their pizza square cut, but at some point, the app ordering system was changed so that I can no longer choose that option and it's too much hassle to call in every time, so I went several orders/months with the typical cut/slice. When I went in last night for my app placed pizza, I was happy to see that Bruno and Josh were behind the counter, since I hadn't seen them in a long time (I've been visiting on their off days), but what surprised me was that Bruno actually remembered that I prefer my pizza square cut and Josh had the pizza/toppings just the way my kids like it. The guys did that for me, without my asking! Wow!!! I can't believe that Bruno actually remembered my preference after all this time!!! As busy and lazy as I am, I feel compelled to write this review, because what they did was above and beyond expectations. Bruno and Josh are young men, I have no doubt that if/when they outgrow this location, just the attitude and attention to detail alone, both essential entrepreneur mindsets, will get them far in life. I wouldn't be surprised if they have their own franchised Pizza Guys locations later and I'd be one of the first customers to visit and say, I told you so! ;)
