They've been open a while now, and I've visited a few times, and it's official. I don't like the mobile drive-thru lane. I'm sure others love it, but I like people interaction. On the visit before this last trip, the mobile lane was actually longer than the regular lane! The main thing they need to add is a sign that says "Wait here, someone will bring your order" because it's unclear how far up to pull up. I also don't like the fact that the employees have to walk in front of cars to bring you your order. It just seems like an accident waiting to happen. In the end, I still like the personal interaction when I enter the drive-thru lane, so I know someone else knows I'm there. With that, the food is as expected, although when visited the day after Valentine's Day, it looks like they gave me a heart-shaped biscuit, which I didn't know what it was. Or maybe it's not, and I just got an odd-shaped biscuit? It was still good, so I can't complain about the food. read more

We were in the area for my kid's tennis match and were starving, so we decided to grab lunch here. We assumed the drive-thru would be faster, but that wasn't the case -- it took a solid 20 minutes from the time we got in line to receiving our order. We ordered our usual: a 12-count meal and 4-count strips. Everything was straightforward and accurate, no issues with the food itself. The plaza looks fairly new, and judging by the mostly empty parking lot, not many people were dining in. Maybe most people, like us, were just grabbing food to go. Review 97/365 Day Challenge Woohoo a closer Cfa Opened up in my Neighboring city Placentia. Pretty ecstatic when i saw the building going up & the banner of what's coming. Went for Grand opening Day 10.09.25 At 3 pm after my younger kids got out of school. It was pretty busy since a lot of kids were hungry after school. Like my own kids lol Food at cfa is always fresh & food. On point. It was a bit chaos when receiving our food. Associate Patti was such a sweetheart. 2 of our kids meal was missing when she 1st originally brought our meals and when i told her. She went n got our missed meals asap. Along with checking in on us, when kids were ready to redeem their books from kids meal for ice dream cups. She went and grabbed it for us. Restaurant is clean, staff are attentive on 1st day. Kept checking in on us to see if we needed any refill on drinks etc. Lots of indoor seatings & outdoor patio chairs and tables with umbrellas available. Play area is open for toddler/children play. The location itself is pretty big and in its own corner lot. With a pretty big parking lot. Across from Ralph's supermarket. This will definitely be my go to cfa now since it's a bit closer than the Brea location along w the YL location also. read more

Official grand opening on 10.09.25! The newest Chick Fil A is open for business! The store seems huge and the parking lot is too! I chose to use the drive thru today. This is also is huge, wrapping around 3/4 of the building. There are 2 lanes, one of which is dedicated to mobile pick up orders. Today there were 3 employees on hand held devices taking orders out in the drive thru. At the actual drive thru window there were too many employees walking up to the window to grab orders for the mobile order customers and for cars that had been asked to "pull forward." Even though I wasn't pulled up as close as usual to the window, these runners were still bumping into my car and side mirror to grab orders. It would serve both car customers and employees better if there were another area to retrieve these orders from. I hope the owners consider making an improvement in this. Other than this glitch, everything else went well. Food presentation was great and was still at a good temp when I got it home. read more

This location is very new and spacious - inside and outside. There is plenty of parking spaces and the drive thru line is a double lane, one for regular orders and one for mobile orders. This store is more inconsistent with the food and drink quality than any other CFA I've ever been to. I've been getting the SEC muffin for awhile now & it's usually good but today the muffin was likely stale, instead of soft it was hard and hard to bite into and chew. Also the cold brew can be very inconsistent. Today again it was watery. Both in appearance and taste. Which also tells me it'll be a waste of my money because it won't then give me much energy like it usually does. And doesn't barely have a coffee taste either. Sometimes the cold brew will have the darker & thicker consistency, taste, & look that it's supposed to & then sometimes it's watery. Not sure where the disconnect is, but someone seems to be doing it right & then someone else is having a heavier hand with the water when making it or your machine in the front that keeps it cold is not working as well as it should. Not sure. But you are the only store, Chrissy Hartman, that has the most inconsistent food and drink quality. Please do something about it. Food was great. Although, my friend ordered a vanilla milkshake in the drive through and after we ordered and paid she decided she wanted a chocolate shake. No problem I thought. But when I got to the drive through window I kindly asked if I could change the vanilla milkshake to chocolate. Hearing this, the girl at the window sarcastically looked over to her coworkers and laughed like it was some kind of joke, then told the guy making the milkshakes to which he rolled his eyes. I tried to tell them if they already made the vanilla it was fine we will just take it that but I was ignored multiple twice after. We ended up getting 2 shakes without asking. Stopped in after a nearby appt to use the free breakfast biscuit provided to all App users. As always for any CFA location, received quality & friendly customer service. Drive-thru was super busy but inside was empty so I chose to eat in, took a few minutes to get my food but I'm sure that was due to the drive-thru. Food was mostly hot and order was correct; the top layer of my hash browns were hot and crunchy, but then the lower half of the box were not fully cooked and lukewarm - breakfast biscuit sandwich was hot enough to eat but not as hot as I'd prefer, or am used to at other locations. Haven't had chick fil a in a while, so decided to check this one out since it's a few blocks from my house and hope they worked out the kinks from when they first opened. Ordered on the app and I went through the mobile thru line which is to the right of the regular drive thru line. Just scan the sign they have there with your app and they'll start preparing your order. Not sure if this mobile thru thing is a new thing at all chick fil a's, but it did save some time as I bypassed about 8 cars. The worker who handed me the order asked me to confirm everything in the bag was correct. Not sure if that's always done, but it's good that they're making sure it's all there before you drive off. Can't complain about the food. Haven't been in a while and it tasted a little bland to me, but overall, it was still pretty good. read more

I don't know if I am being too harsh and I understand this location has recently opened but I was expecting the same speed of service compared to other chick fil a's. If you are looking for something quick to eat, I suggest visiting another location. It took 15 minutes in the drive thru to just get my order which was only the chicken hash scramble bowl. Keep in mind there was only one car in front of me. No communication from staff about long wait times and to top it off opened the bowl up and this is what I see and it was so sad and small. read more

The newest Chick-Fil-A! Wow! They have the entire location to themselves. I remember the land they are on, had a colony of ground squirrels that have been there for many years. Did they get relocated? I visited the several days ago (not on Sunday), and went inside, ordered food, sat down and enjoyed a delightful original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich meal. Staff was extremely polite, communicated well and spoke clearly. I was impressed how clean it was inside and outside. The opening staff at this new location are doing a good job! read more

Nice location and love Chic Fil A however they don't offer frosted Cokes they only offer a few frosted drinks like lemonade and Dr Pepper My shake was melted and only filled between 1/2-3/4 and barely any whipped cream as that was melted too. I get this location is new and I should give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I went in yesterday and today and while waiting I was not even acknowledged. The waiting monitor showed my food was ready yet I waited 5 minutes before having to get ANYONE's attention to figure out where my food was. This was both yesterday and today. This was also the first location I've experienced that skimped out on the fries. Fries didn't even fill fry box with 5 pieces of fries inside. I also ordered a Dr. Pepper and was given Diet Coke. I might give this place another try but it might be worth just driving to the Tustin location. Y'all need to do better, new location is not an excuse. read more

This is the only chick fil a that has a huge lot so yay on that! Plus the inside has a nice layout. That being said our biscuits for breakfast were pretty crumbly and hard. I was quite unimpressed with my first visit to the new Placentia location. Ordering went fine at the counter for our eat-in meal. We ordered 2 #1 sandwiches, 2 fries and 2 drinks. When the food arrived the tray had 1 deluxe #1 (not ordered), 1 fry and 1 drink. I showed the server my receipt and in a few minutes he returned with the remainder of our order. This is my 3rd time visiting and I know they just opened, but there has been a small issue each time. 1st visit-6:30am-Was told they don't have ice cream at that time when I ordered an iced coffee. They quickly made the iced coffee and apologized. 2nd Visit-5:30pm-Ordered a salad with nuggets instead of spicy grilled cold fillet. Got the grilled cold fillet. Thankfully I received a coupon to replace. 3rd Visit-6:15am-Made me a hot coffee when I ordered iced coffee, she corrected it but didn't put in the cream and syrup that it shows on the app. Employee told me that is not how that location makes their iced coffee but corrected it for me. It seems like they need to slow down and read the orders correctly. All 3 visits there have been 3 different employees and they thankfully corrected it, but I assume I'm not the only one. read more

We are so happy to have a chick-fil-a within walking distance from us! Our first visit was on opening day and there were obvious challenges but that's to be expected as they were pretty busy. My second visit was today 10/21 and it took us about 20 minutes to get our pick up order. The dining room was pretty empty and there were maybe 2-3 cars MAX in the drive thru. So not too busy at all so not sure why it was such a long wait. There was also another person waiting who looked clearly annoyed that it was taking so long. There looked to be plenty of staff in the restaurant too. I'm trying to be super mindful that they recently opened however they have several employees who transferred from other stores. read more

I went into the drive thru and had ordered an 8ct nugget meal as well as a kale salad and ice cream cone. I was told that their ice cream machine was broken. Didnt know this was mcdonalds. I would somewhat understand if they said this closer to closing time, due to the fact that they may have already cleaned it, but I went in 2 1/2 hours before close. Then when I got to the window they advised me that they also had no kale salad. The two things my girlfriend wanted they didn't have.
