Great middle-east style take out eats. Shwarma is on point. Great rice. Staff are always polite and happy.

The Barg is thr best followed by the koobideh and chicken. Something to get is the Mast-o-Khiar, it's a great add to eat with the rice and the Pita bread. Can't wait to come back again! We spoke with the hostess and she was an absolute sweetheart. We did not know they have been around since 2008! However, there is new ownership this last year. I must say there's a reason people are recommending the food. There is free parking in behind the restaurant. The interior is cozy and has tables for dining in. We opted for a wrap and a plate; splitting both. The plate was loaded with rice, garlic sauce, hummus and lots of chicken shawarma. Topped with another sauce, this was the perfect combo. The meat was juicy and flavorful. There were multiple dressings to choose from for the salad. The Barg wrap was a steak wrap and my hubby commented on how tender the meat was. The wrap was an ok size and was a nice mix of veggies. All in all we had a solid experience and will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Although…read morethere are signs on the sides of the tiny building and on the door, it could easily be mistaken for the service entrance to one of the other two businesses occupying the building. Despite my reservations, I entered and walked into a tiny space that actually had seating for 6-8 diners. The really odd thing about this place, it has no windows! There was a very young fellow taking orders at the cash and two adults who I'm going to assume were his parents. I was the only guest at the time and I was looking over their menu on the wall above the counter, deciding what to order. None of them offered any suggestions and actually didn't say anything unless I asked a question, you know, like "What do you recommend?" Silence. No points for customer service. Noticing the two vertical rotisseries, I ordered the dinner plate to go, which included a choice of beef or chicken shawarma, rice, potatoes, and salad. I chose the large size for 11.99. The medium was 9.99. No price shown for small. It ended up being a lot of food crammed into a styrofoam box. And then he asked me if it was "for here or to go?" It was already in a takeout box! I had no desire to sit and eat in this tiny little closet. Anyway, there really was a lot of food stuffed into the box. The salad was delicious. I'm not sure what all the components were but it tasted really good. The fries had gotten a bit soggy but they were still okay. The rice was tasty and plentiful. I had gotten a combination of beef and chicken shawarma and both tasted good but the serving was a bit small compared to all the sides, making it not so great value for the price. But it did taste good. If the atmosphere and customer service were more inviting, I would probably go back but there are too many other places to consider.

It's not exactly the type of place you'd take someone for a date, though. I ordered the Crown Combo for $9.99 + tax. I inhaled the shawarma (well-seasoned meat!), and couldn't stop eating the garlic fries despite them being a little on the soggy side. I'd come back. :)

11am weekday ordered $70 of stuff 3 entrees and some other stuff…read more Beef Shawarma I'd say is best among the shawarma's and other stuff. They made big mistake with my order but they were great at owning up to it and showed exemplary service in doing so. They got the grape vine wraps which goes great with fries. I will go back just for this. Keep in mind shawarma on weekdays may not be freshly grilled but kept in containers they scoop out of, or regrilled. But the beef shawarma good either way. Sauces for sharwarma in addition to regular sauces they have there is also a yogurt like sauce addition that give great taste. But all the side toppings does lean toward the saltier side. I'd recommend asking to replace all with rice. Lettuce on weekday seems a bit old, brown and yellow spots... try to go on weekends Eggplant dip bought separately tasted sadly underwelming but might be a thing for some people. I had much tastier eggplant dips especially the canned ones. Theirs seems home made. Their food is decent 3/5 and service 4/5. You will feel people working there cares, unlike Made in Mexico on main st new location in my recent trip. For competing sharwarma there is always Sharwarma Land on Yonge st to try around ten min drive south. The lack of fresh veggies and meat on weekdays sadly lowers rating.

It is in a plaza in the middle of nowhere. There are a lot of construction workers who come here for food. The food portion is huge, VERY HUGE. One pita comes with only one drink, but the owner gave us a drink for free and allowed us to sample some chicken before ordering. I don't think I will come back for the food again. This place is famous, I guess, because of the portions.
