Ok this is a serious and objective review. I ordered the chicken wrap and five piece falafel
The wrap is a Lebanese Saj type flat bread, and the chicken is very moist and packed with flavour. Toppings were fresh and balanced. The whole thing has an authentic flavour that reminds me of early 90's middle eastern restaurants. I would give it a solid 4 out of 5. A 5 is not possible. There is no perfect wrap. This one is exceptional.
The falafel was equally wonderful. Made with chick peas and not fava. Simply seasoned and fried to absolute perfection. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The tahini dipping sauce is complex with hints of mint (never had that in a tahini ever) very very nice. And asked for a garlic dipping sauce which was pretty standard but very nice.
4.5 out of 5
Overall this is a hidden gem in the world of Osmow's and Shawarma on every corner, this spot is a hit. Tucked back on Mountain across from Food Basics. read more
