    Dip sampler

Such a wonderful place to have a meal. Absolutely every aspect of our meal was excellent: We tried the dip sampler and my friend had the chicken schwarma platter. The dips were all delicious and rich, and the pita was fresh and warm. The garlic aioli was also strong and creamy. The atmosphere was very family friendly with an almost cafeteria-like feel. Very casual and comfortable environment, with fast and easy service. The washrooms also surprised me with tampons and pads for anyone who needed one. All in all, food was authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

I've eaten here on several occasions and they've always served consistently good Lebanese food and you really get the most bang for you buck. ENORMOUS portion sizes for ~$10.99-12.99 for the lunch specials. //THE FOOD// Lentil Soup (5/5)- deliciously warming, thick, seasoned to perfection with a hint of lemon juice to lighten it up. The pita chips soaked up the soup and added a great crunchy texture to it. Beef kebab (4/5)- seasoned great and the beef flavour really stood out, just a little dry though Chicken Shawarma (4/5)- again seasoned great, a little dry but the yogurty sauce that comes with it definitely fixes that. Falafel (5/5): fried crunchy on the outside and the inside remains fluffy and pipping warm. Bits of parsley and seasoning inside was just right! The rice & fries that come with the platters were average, the Fatoush salad is my favourite (the sourness is refreshing and the pita chips and fantastic), and the hummus is so smooth and it's simplicity is so delicious, and the pita bread is fresh with a great crust and fluffy inside.

1kg Mixed Grill platter: shish kebab, shish tawook and kefta kabob

Every time I visit my parents in Cambridge, we often order food from Arabesque Family Restaurant. This place offers great Middle Eastern dishes and it's located all the way in Kitchener. You can consider this restaurant as proof that as long as the food is great, people will find a way to get to you. I can't speak about the restaurant itself and the service it provides since I have never eaten there before. This review is solely based on the takeout aspect of their business. We usually order the 1Kg platter. This platter consists of the following: 10 Skewers (Shish Kebob, Shish Tawook, Kefta Kebob), one small dip of either baba ghanoush or humus, one large salad (choice of Tabouli, Fattoush or Red Cabbage), one large fries or rice and 5 pita bread. We usually give them a call ahead of time and go and pick it up. We have never been disappointed in their dishes so far. The portions of the skewers are very generous and the rice and pita bread are great. Plus, there's always leftovers for the next day. Next time you are in the Tri-City area (Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo) and you are in the mood for Middle Eastern food, give this restaurant a chance. You won't be disappointed!

Chicken masouhab plate. Very filling! Meat is tender and juicy.

This place is such a gem! It's not a place where you'll find university students who come to grab a bite, that's for sure. It's geared more towards larger groups like families who stop by from the highway or locals who know what's good. It's out of the way and I can't get here without a car but well worth the trip. The service today was a little below average. I understand that it was during dinner, but I think the server can at least remember to bring us water. We basically did not get the water until we reminded him maybe 15 mins later (I think it's important to say that during this time, he did not come to our table once to check if we got anything and I called over another server to remind him). He's actually a really nice and polite server--he may have just been under a little stress today, who knows? Food is always a bit slow to get to the table but that means that everything is made fresh out of the grill or oven. Definitely worth the wait. I always go for their entrees. It comes with pita, hummus, your choice of salad, and your choice of rice or fries. I usually get the chicken tawouk, but today, I decided to try the chicken masouhab (boneless chicken legs). Man, it was such a good decision! The meat was tender and quite juicy, and as always the rice was nicely seasoned. They give you a choice of three salads: tabouli, fattoush or red cabbage. My advice is to go with fattoush if you're not familiar with middle Eastern food. It's a good mix of lettuce, red cabbage and various other veggies whereas tabouli is just parsley and red cabbage is...red cabbage. Overall, I would really recommend this place if you want some good middle Eastern food! I guarantee that you will come out full and satisfied.

Love Arabesque! The most delicious hummus and softest pitas I've ever had! The dishes are huge (always leftovers) and well worth the money, and the chicken is perfectly cooked and spiced. The service is friendly and prompt, but the dishes take a bit longer to come out. Possibly because they need to grill the meat or bake fresh pitas? Regardless, the food is worth it.

    Very nice ambience!

This is the first restaurant I went to after moving into Waterloo-Kitchener area, and I'm glad I did. We ordered beef shawarma along with Turkish coffee and tea. The beef was really soft, the pita very fluffy and the side salad super flavorful. The server offered us their home-made hot sauce which was the ultimate bomb. We packed what was left of the hot sauce to have later. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would go back here anytime. I will definitely call and place an order for their Kunafa!

Randomly found this restaurant while in Waterloo and decided to try it with the family. What a great find! One of the best Mediterranean kebabs that we have had. The beef, chicken and kafta kebabs were so tender, juicy and tasty. The rice was good and so was the baba ganoush and the hummus was excellent. Definitely will return to this restaurant.

They made big mistake with my order but they were great at owning up to it and showed exemplary service in doing so. They got the grape vine wraps which goes great with fries. I will go back just for this. Keep in mind shawarma on weekdays may not be freshly grilled but kept in containers they scoop out of, or regrilled. But the beef shawarma good either way. Sauces for sharwarma in addition to regular sauces they have there is also a yogurt like sauce addition that give great taste. But all the side toppings does lean toward the saltier side. I'd recommend asking to replace all with rice. Lettuce on weekday seems a bit old, brown and yellow spots... try to go on weekends Eggplant dip bought separately tasted sadly underwelming but might be a thing for some people. I had much tastier eggplant dips especially the canned ones. Theirs seems home made. Their food is decent 3/5 and service 4/5. You will feel people working there cares, unlike Made in Mexico on main st new location in my recent trip. For competing sharwarma there is always Sharwarma Land on Yonge st to try around ten min drive south. The lack of fresh veggies and meat on weekdays sadly lowers rating.

We had come here on a Sunday afternoon at around 12:00 pm. We had settled on the margarita pizza…read more(without spinach), the falafel wrap, and the kabab wrap (without onions). When we had first walked-in, we were surprised to see how small the restaurant was. However, we then noticed that most of the guests were doing take-out as opposed to dine-in. We were able to find a table for four, which was perfect for us. When we walked-up to the front counter to place our order, we were greeted by a kind hostess, whom took our orders without any issue. We then sat down, and watched as our orders were being prepared. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for all of our meals to be ready. We were surprised to see that the margarita pizza had olives on it, despite not seeing it on the menu. However, we just scooped them off since my children didn't want to eat the olives. For the falafel and kabab wraps, we were surprised to see how large they were, and for only $10.00! The kabab wrap (which I had asked for without onions), had two large pieces of kabab, which filled the wrap, along with the sumac and tomatoes. I enjoyed how tasty the wrap tasted, along with how filling it was. My mother also commented on how delicious the falafel tasted. Considering the prices that we had paid, we certainly go our money's worth! The service was also excellent, as we were brought our wraps directly to our table, while the pizza was placed on the table near to our table. Everyone was kind and considerate, making our stay a pleasant one. There were so many menu items to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. Will definitely be back to try other items the next time around!

Been quite a few times and tried a selection of their manakeesh; cheese, zaatar, falafel, labneh,…read morespinach, supreme and chicken zinger. I like the 4 in 1 which allows you to sample different toppings at once. It's become my most preferred. The bread is doughy but depending on the option(s) picked, it may fall apart. Service is good. They pump out orders rapidly even when busy. Rarely do they miss ingredients, but rectify those errors. I've dined in more than take out. For a small establishment, it seems to be doing well. Draws in crowds at times. Food is prepped in front of you. Area is clean. Toppings are generous, as are the staff. The washroom is also clean and adjacent to the checkout counter.
