We had come here on a Sunday afternoon at around 12:00 pm. We had settled on the margarita pizza (without spinach), the falafel wrap, and the kabab wrap (without onions). When we had first walked-in, we were surprised to see how small the restaurant was. However, we then noticed that most of the guests were doing take-out as opposed to dine-in. We were able to find a table for four, which was perfect for us. When we walked-up to the front counter to place our order, we were greeted by a kind hostess, whom took our orders without any issue. We then sat down, and watched as our orders were being prepared. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for all of our meals to be ready. We were surprised to see that the margarita pizza had olives on it, despite not seeing it on the menu. However, we just scooped them off since my children didn't want to eat the olives. For the falafel and kabab wraps, we were surprised to see how large they were, and for only $10.00! The kabab wrap (which I had asked for without onions), had two large pieces of kabab, which filled the wrap, along with the sumac and tomatoes. I enjoyed how tasty the wrap tasted, along with how filling it was. My mother also commented on how delicious the falafel tasted. Considering the prices that we had paid, we certainly go our money's worth! The service was also excellent, as we were brought our wraps directly to our table, while the pizza was placed on the table near to our table. Everyone was kind and considerate, making our stay a pleasant one. There were so many menu items to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. Been quite a few times and tried a selection of their manakeesh; cheese, zaatar, falafel, labneh, spinach, supreme and chicken zinger. I like the 4 in 1 which allows you to sample different toppings at once. It's become my most preferred. The bread is doughy but depending on the option(s) picked, it may fall apart. Service is good. They pump out orders rapidly even when busy. Rarely do they miss ingredients, but rectify those errors. I've dined in more than take out. For a small establishment, it seems to be doing well. Draws in crowds at times. Food is prepped in front of you. Area is clean. Toppings are generous, as are the staff. The washroom is also clean and adjacent to the checkout counter. read more

Something new to try? Why not? They are known for their mana'eesh (a chewy type of flatbread pizza). Plenty of parking in front. Limited seating inside. The cool part is that you can see the large oven and the people there making the food very quickly. I only waited about 5 minutes for my lamb mana'eesh. It came with a slice of lemon which was a nice touch. Loved the texture and flavour. It was cut into four pieces. The price was decent too. I have been wanting to try this place for quite sometime had heard many good things about their mana'eesh. So this is is located in a plaza with many other restaurants. I came here on a Sunday late afternoon they seemed pretty busy with many orders in making. I ordered the Lamb manakeesh . Manakeesh is a Levantine food which is pretty similar to pizza. Let's get down to the taste so the crust was perfect. The lamb mince was very flavorful and the cheese tasted great. Overall the taste was on point. Their pricing is very reasonable and their menu is pretty extensive you find something for everyone.My order was ready within 5/7 minutes. They bake it right in front of you and it is very fresh. Looking at their old photos one can tell this place has limited seating but due to Covid they are only participating in take outs.Plenty of parking outside. Their customer service was good but my only complaint was that there were two people working on preparing and baking the manakeesh out of them one had his mask down from his nose just covering his lips. Our visit here to pick up some food for lunch. Not knowing what sizes they come in and how filling they would be, we ordered three mana'eeshs. Muhammara, Akkawi Cheese and 3 Cheese and Herbs. Asked for Mutabbal, but they ran out of it on a early Saturday lunch, for which I was very disappointed. They received a large order prior to me coming in and the three individuals were working very hard and frantically to finish the big orders and the walls in like me. It took them a long time to finish our order which was disappointing as well. The Muhammara as I understand it is roasted red peppers and walnuts as their base. This mana'eesh did not taste red pepper or walnuts. The flavour was more on onions than anything else. Regardless it was good. The bread was very baked and together with the topping went great. The three cheese I assumed would be loaded with cheese was well filled and kids liked it. The Akkawi was loaded with cheese much more than kids and Mrs expected and even they are cheese lovers had to scrape some cheese off as it was just too much for them. I have never heard about mana-eesh until last week. Now, I am hooked on the lineup of mana'eesh from Manousha! I was highly impressed with the freshness and quality of their lineup of flatbreads to choose from. Really enjoyed this Halal middle eastern food. Here's some I tried: Cheese Mana'eesh - Flatbread with cheese on top. Slightly basic but it felt homemade and tasted pretty good. The cheese was melty and slightly warm. Would love to try the other Manaeeshs. Philadelphia Sandwich - Basically a "Philly Cheesesteak." It was pretty good. Not super outstanding and I have tasted better. Dynamite Shrimp Sandwich - This was DELICIOUS. The shrimp was delicious. The sauce was good. Would definitely recomend this. Let me be the first to say that I don't know enough about Manaeesh (or is it Manakish?). I can't comment on whether Manousha offers an "authentic" (whatever that means) experience. I'm sure other Yelpers with more knowledge can chime in on the subject. What I can comment on is taste, price and the overall experience I had at this brand-new restaurant. Manousha is a bright open concept restaurant in a tiny new plaza. There is plenty of parking right next to the entrance. There are tables for dine-in guests but I suspect most of their business is take-out and deliveries. A good chunk of the restaurant is occupied by a giant (wood burning?) oven with a tasteful dome-shaped top. The method is simple. You order from the menu of Manakish breads which are piled high with toppings. Some appear traditional (zaatar and vegetables). Others not so much (Nutella and strawberries). As soon as you place your order, the baker flattens out a small piece of dough and you get a made-to-order pizza-like creation. Because the crust is so thin, it takes mere minutes to bake. You get a delicious savory flatbread piled with toppings. I ordered mine with ful (or is it foul?), which is a delicious Egyptian stew of cooked fava beans served with vegetable oil, cumin, and chopped parsley, garlic, onion, lemon juice, chili pepper and eggs. I was half-expecting the dough to get soggy from all the toppings, but it held up great until the end of the meal. I could immediately tell that the people in charge are meticulous about quality. The Maneesh was absolutely delicious. It was a little smaller than a personal pizza and filling-enough to constitute a full meal. The dough was crispy and flavorful and the toppings were fresh and well-seasoned. I felt like, they get the best flavor out of their vegetables. Manousha also has some in-house olive oil which you can dip your crust in. Like the rest of the food, the oil is of a high quality (I wonder if they would sell me a bottle). Despite the word "artisanal" (which is typically code for price gouging) in the title, Manousha is very affordable. I spent less than $10 on my lunch and walked away very satisfied. I hope these guys stick around for a very long time and open a few more locations closer to home. read more

I didn't think there could be so many varieties and options to choose from when adding toppings on flatbreads. We tried eggs & shakshuka (one of my favorites; Moroccan shakshuka, eggs, sumac, fresh oregano), Muhammara (red pepper paste, pomegranate molasses and crushed walnuts - black edition* so the flatbread is black) and lahm b ajeen (spiced ground beef, pine nuts, pomegranate seeds and fresh arugula). It is a little pricey. However, with the price you pay comes quality. Fresh ingredients, fresh food. You see them making it in front of you! If it's a little overbaked, then it can be crispy. This take-out bar does a mean mana'eesh! Their middle eastern flat breads (like very thin crusted pizza) got me so hooked I literally ate it every week for 4 weeks straight! The most classical is one topped with za'atar - a concoction of aromatic herbs and spices. Done well, it's insanely delicious! I've also tried a spicy muhammara, which is traditionally made with walnuts, red bell peppers, and pomegranate molasses. Nicely spiced, and flavourful. I've eaten here three times in the past few weeks. Every time we are even somewhat close, we make it a priority to drop by and have some manaeesh. These are delicious open faced pies with toppings on top. The base is a thin bread. We have loved all the ones we've tried here, but I really recommend the chicken with onion or the spinach. I heard very good feedbacks about it so, I decide to go Christmas day morning. As it is a new concept of toppings of ME pastries. A very nice and well design atmosphere for to go pastries. ( Mano'usha or Manq'ousha) means the thyme pastry, so for sure I ordered it as first with vegetables toppings. Thyme pastry simple but has many elements to taste good ones like : Thyme quality Olive oil that mixing with thyme Dough Baking I was disappointed from the bubbles dough that separated Manousha as 2 thin layers ! Which has too much yeast or extra yeast time ! And surprised that such place, must take extra effort to serve a good dough recipe as it is their value proposition ! Other wise I can enjoy it somewhere else. Za'ater or thyme was good in quality as olive oil wasn't smelling or extra as topping also the Karak tea ( spice tea with milk ) was tasty. The first time I had their muhammara man'ousheh I LOVED it. It was nice and spicy, and the vegetable were a great addition. The spinach man'ousheh one was not as good but still decent. However, when I had it last time it was not spicy enough. It now lacks flavour, IMO. Please bring back the old muhammara. read more

I wish I found out about this place sooner! This place has such a great twist on middle eastern flat bread. I bought 2 items at this location: the Falafel Mana'eesh and the Spicy Arabic Sausage Mana'eesh. The Falafel Mana'eesh was AMAZING!!! It was creamy and each bite was a delight. The Spicy Arabic Sausage however was quite disappointing. It tasted like any regular pizza. I would recommend for you to try the Falafel Mana'eesh (around $7). Mississauga has a lot of good middle eastern places popping up. This is a great addition. I've been here several times for lunch. They have a variety of flat breads from vegetarian, cheese, meat, dessert. I've tried a mix of different ones and never had a bad one. Today I had the chicken one which is pretty tasty with some distinct Arabic spices. The one with pomegranate is also very nice. I haven't tried their dessert ones yet but eventually... The dough to "stuff" ratio is pretty good. Unlike a pizza which has a lot more dough, the flatbreads here let you really taste the toppings. There's a generous amount of stuff. I'd say 1 flatbread is probably good for a meal. If I am hungry I can probably eat 2. Prices are fairly reasonable. The ones with meat will range $9-$13 after tax. The cheese and veggie ones are cheaper. Considering quality and amount of toppings, I'd say it is definitely worth it. If you get take out it will come in a nice box. read more
