    Hummus

I could eat apps and drink tea here all day, every dish on the menu is meaningful and unique. The ambiance is like a chill cafe in the back with a patio and the front is more formal. Something for everyone here and the food is delicious.

    Fattet hummus

This is a relatively small, Palestinian-run restaurant (I believe) serving Mediterranean fare. The ambiance is quite nice (it's quite spacious and roomy), and the service is polite albeit slow. The food at its price is reasonable with some select standouts. A note, however, that water is not served for free - they claim that they don't have free tap water, and so you must purchase bottled water. We ordered some falafel, pita bread, and hummus to share. The falafel was quite light, crispy, flavourful, and not too heavy. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We ordered a special hummus - the fattet hummus - which came with fried pita, slivered almonds, pomegranate, and chickpeas. It was delicious! A friend and I shared the fattoush and it was merely mediocre. It frankly lacked sufficient dressing, and I found that there was too much raw green onions and too many green peppers. We ended off with a crispy knafeh to share. Compared to the ones I had in Turkey (and even downtown), this one was just okay. It wasn't too sweet (in fact, I found it quite salty), but the cheese was a bit too chunky / thick. The dessert was therefore quite difficult to cut through and divide evenly amongst us all. Overall, this was a decent middle eastern meal in Mississauga. The hummus is great as are the falafel, but I would personally skip the fattoush and knafeh. Interested to try other foods another time!

The food was so fresh and tasty. We ordered the mix platter and it contained many side dishes. The restaurant was busy so the service was kind of slow but overall I enjoyed the food. The shisha area is separate from the dining area which is great

    Great food

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have ever been to. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding..... all all all was good

    Hummus Be Lahmeh

Is this place new? And how come I haven't heard of it? Well I'm glad at least I have now. I have never tried Palestine cuisine but it's very similar to Syrian, Emirati and other middle eastern cuisine. The only thing that differentiates them is the taste and flavor. We ordered Hummus be Lahmeh, Zahra Bi Tahini, Family Mix Mashawi, Lemon mint, Half moon cheese bites. My favourite was the Hummus Be Lahmeh and the Family Mix. Hummus was just perfect and reminded me of Dubai, authentic home made hummus. What was very unique was the family mix dish. It had a covering which was made of pastry. It was nice, soft and buttery. Their meats were nice and moist because of this covering technique. The Chicken in the family mix was very delicious. It had a different flavor to it. Would definitely recommend trying it. We ended our dinner with Kanafa and Baklawa with ice cream ( this was on the house). The owner was very kind to do this because he wanted us to try it. All in all great customer service, great food and great ambience. Kudos to Ntali, she was very attentive and took care of our table very well.

Have heard alot about this place, and decided to try it out Nice authentic flavours, some would argue that they aren't too authentic, but they're certainly close enough. The atmosphere is good and inviting, while using minimal add-ons, but kept it real and authentic while doing the least. The menu is good, covers most of the main dishes a visitor to this place would look for, and their presentation is nice. The decorations and platings deliver a nice msg, takes you back to the lands of the levant region. I recommend this place if you are a fan of this cuisine and in the area!

Incredible Palestinian food and amazing service! Would highly recommend the Mujaddara which is a great vegetarian option - lentils, rice or bulgar (rec the bulgar) onions and pomegranate. I could eat it everyday!

    Bait Sitty in Uber Eats

I was craving some Labneh again and the stores in DoorDash that had Labneh were closed so, I went to Uber Eats and it had more selection. I decided to order from Bait Sitty as they had some Labneh which was rolled into balls (Labneh Zrar) and had various toppings on it. I also ordered a filet mignon Kabab wrap. The delivery was delivered earlier than expected. The whole order costed $22.47, the price was okay. The Labneh came with a pita bread and I was not disappointed with the taste and it was as expected. The filet mignon kabab tasted good as well and the presentation was simple yet carefully packaged. Overall I was satisfied with the order and glad I tried it. Update: I am recommending the filet mignon Kabab wrap and Labneh because it's really tasty .

Castaleta. Lamb chops and potatoes in a delicious creamy, tomatoey sauce

Had an absolutely fantastic lunch here today. The place looks beautiful inside. We arrived right at opening and while two of us were waiting awhile for a friend to arrive we were kindly offered what I believe were Turkish coffees free of charge. The calamari appetizer we shared was delicious as was the lamb chop dish I had called Castaleta. Definitely the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. Very generous portions and the service was friendly.

    The perfect cup!

When we had first walked-in, we were surprised to see how small the restaurant was. However, we then noticed that most of the guests were doing take-out as opposed to dine-in. We were able to find a table for four, which was perfect for us. When we walked-up to the front counter to place our order, we were greeted by a kind hostess, whom took our orders without any issue. We then sat down, and watched as our orders were being prepared. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for all of our meals to be ready. We were surprised to see that the margarita pizza had olives on it, despite not seeing it on the menu. However, we just scooped them off since my children didn't want to eat the olives. For the falafel and kabab wraps, we were surprised to see how large they were, and for only $10.00! The kabab wrap (which I had asked for without onions), had two large pieces of kabab, which filled the wrap, along with the sumac and tomatoes. I enjoyed how tasty the wrap tasted, along with how filling it was. My mother also commented on how delicious the falafel tasted. Considering the prices that we had paid, we certainly go our money's worth! The service was also excellent, as we were brought our wraps directly to our table, while the pizza was placed on the table near to our table. Everyone was kind and considerate, making our stay a pleasant one. There were so many menu items to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. Will definitely be back to try other items the next time around!

Been quite a few times and tried a selection of their manakeesh; cheese, zaatar, falafel, labneh,…read morespinach, supreme and chicken zinger. I like the 4 in 1 which allows you to sample different toppings at once. It's become my most preferred. The bread is doughy but depending on the option(s) picked, it may fall apart. Service is good. They pump out orders rapidly even when busy. Rarely do they miss ingredients, but rectify those errors. I've dined in more than take out. For a small establishment, it seems to be doing well. Draws in crowds at times. Food is prepped in front of you. Area is clean. Toppings are generous, as are the staff. The washroom is also clean and adjacent to the checkout counter.

I'm visiting Toronto and wasn't sure what I wanted to eat for dinner so I headed to Yelp, read…read morereviews, and chose Palmyra. I'm so glad I did. This is a small, family owned establishment. The family was actually sitting down to dinner at the end of the day when I arrived approximately an hour before close. It was wonderful to see them eating together. I was immediately greeted by one of the employees. He was very friendly and allowed me to take my time. I wanted to try a falafel because I love to try several menu items. He accommodated that and allowed me to order a single falafel patty to try. I was stuck between choosing the Palmyra Platter or the Mixed Shawarma plate because, as I said, I like to try several items. I ended up choosing the mixed shawarma plate and ordered it as is. The falafel was crispy and I could taste the herbs mixed in. The sauce drizzled over the top was the perfect addition. I was so glad I tried it. I was so eager to taste it that I forgot to get a photo. I chose the mixed shawarma plate thinking it would be a more manageable serving for me to finish than the Palmyra platter. I was sorely mistaken. It was easily enough food for at least 2 people. This was well worth the price point. The salad was fresh and crispy with a good variety of vegetables in it. I really enjoyed the vinaigrette they used for it as well; just tangy enough. The chicken and beef were crispy on the outside and tender inside. They had good flavor and were not dry at all. The spicy potatoes were a tad spicy for me but I still ate them. The rice was ok in my opinion. I had enough left over to eat a second time. I will definitely visit here again on a subsequent trip so I can try more of their menu items. Overall this was a good experience for me.
