I am going to make it a short review... here we go.. I visit Mississauga often since I have family there (lucky me, I'm Canadian ), and I can't believe I only discovered this place at the very end of my stay! This is a relatively small, Palestinian-run restaurant (I believe) serving Mediterranean fare. The ambiance is quite nice (it's quite spacious and roomy), and the service is polite albeit slow. The food at its price is reasonable with some select standouts. A note, however, that water is not served for free - they claim that they don't have free tap water, and so you must purchase bottled water. We ordered some falafel, pita bread, and hummus to share. The falafel was quite light, crispy, flavourful, and not too heavy. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We ordered a special hummus - the fattet hummus - which came with fried pita, slivered almonds, pomegranate, and chickpeas. It was delicious! A friend and I shared the fattoush and it was merely mediocre. It frankly lacked sufficient dressing, and I found that there was too much raw green onions and too many green peppers. We ended off with a crispy knafeh to share. Compared to the ones I had in Turkey (and even downtown), this one was just okay. It wasn't too sweet (in fact, I found it quite salty), but the cheese was a bit too chunky / thick. The dessert was therefore quite difficult to cut through and divide evenly amongst us all. Overall, this was a decent middle eastern meal in Mississauga. The hummus is great as are the falafel, but I would personally skip the fattoush and knafeh. Interested to try other foods another time! read more

I do not recommend this place. It's pretty rare that I post a negative review but here I go. First point: they will not serve you tap water. But they will sell you bottled water for $3 a bottle!!! They have some excuse about no filter on the tap water but this is Mississauga - the water is fine and let's be real - it's a money grab. Second point: the waiter was not polite, somewhat snarky, and all the people in our party commented on it. Third point: the food was delicious! I would definitely want to come back if it was just about the food. But a restaurant experience is about more than food - the music was loud, there was an annoying ding that went off every time an order was ready, and they do not serve regular pop - only no name pop. So I'll choose another place to spend my money. PS I considered a 2/5 star rating but the food was worth an extra star. read more

Paid $50 waited for two employees for 45 minutes to stop arguing and be served microwaved warmed up food because I told them that the food was cold. They did offer me the cup of tea after another 10 minutes of waiting. read more

This restaurant had great google and yelp reviews but my boyfriend and I found it lacking in all areas. The ambiance is ok, but its winter and you are blasted by cold air everytime a new group comes inside. The manager also conducted a job interview at the table next to us during our dinner. There were not enough menus for everyone so we had to share. The food was pretty good and in huge portions! Everything was delicious. In terms of service we had to ask for a glass to enjoy our drinks as they were not served, just the bottle or can which is fine at a counter service restaurant but this is a table service establishment. The service was spotty for us and other tables as well as I noticed others needing to seek the attention of the servers who were busy assembling cutlery. Meh. read more

Is this place new? And how come I haven't heard of it? Well I'm glad at least I have now. I have never tried Palestine cuisine but it's very similar to Syrian, Emirati and other middle eastern cuisine. The only thing that differentiates them is the taste and flavor. We ordered Hummus be Lahmeh, Zahra Bi Tahini, Family Mix Mashawi, Lemon mint, Half moon cheese bites. My favourite was the Hummus Be Lahmeh and the Family Mix. Hummus was just perfect and reminded me of Dubai, authentic home made hummus. What was very unique was the family mix dish. It had a covering which was made of pastry. It was nice, soft and buttery. Their meats were nice and moist because of this covering technique. The Chicken in the family mix was very delicious. It had a different flavor to it. Would definitely recommend trying it. We ended our dinner with Kanafa and Baklawa with ice cream ( this was on the house). The owner was very kind to do this because he wanted us to try it. All in all great customer service, great food and great ambience. Kudos to Ntali, she was very attentive and took care of our table very well. read more

Random stop on the way to Toronto turns into a fantastic dining experience. Can't remember the names of all the middle eastern dishes we had here but they were all fantastic. Have heard alot about this place, and decided to try it out Nice authentic flavours, some would argue that they aren't too authentic, but they're certainly close enough. The atmosphere is good and inviting, while using minimal add-ons, but kept it real and authentic while doing the least. The menu is good, covers most of the main dishes a visitor to this place would look for, and their presentation is nice. The decorations and platings deliver a nice msg, takes you back to the lands of the levant region. I recommend this place if you are a fan of this cuisine and in the area! read more

I was craving some Labneh again and the stores in DoorDash that had Labneh were closed so, I went to Uber Eats and it had more selection. I decided to order from Bait Sitty as they had some Labneh which was rolled into balls (Labneh Zrar) and had various toppings on it. I also ordered a filet mignon Kabab wrap. The delivery was delivered earlier than expected. The whole order costed $22.47, the price was okay. The Labneh came with a pita bread and I was not disappointed with the taste and it was as expected. The filet mignon kabab tasted good as well and the presentation was simple yet carefully packaged. Overall I was satisfied with the order and glad I tried it. Update: I am recommending the filet mignon Kabab wrap and Labneh because it's really tasty . read more

We were a party of 14 with an afternoon reso on Sunday afternoon celebrating a big family event. Half of us are Palestinian and used to good quality home cooked Palestinian food. SERVICE: 4 Stars I must give a big acknowledgment to our waiter Hasan. He was so personable, attentive, and professional. You can tell he genuinely cares about people. He did his best to give us a great experience and make it extra special. He even told me a beautiful something from his heart that honored my late father. Thank you Hassan! The 1-star off is towards management as they need more wait staff working when they have a full house, including one party of 14 and another party of 24. Not sure why they only had 2 waiters for all those people on a Sunday afternoon. We had to get up to ask them for more hot water, 3 times for more paper plates and more times for spoons as we were serving our cake, etc. BE PREPARED FOR LONG WAIT TIME ON FOOD, but it was absolutely worth the wait!! THE 1 DISAPPOINTING FOOD WE GOT IMO - Kunafa - we got 1 soft and 1 crispy. - Size: small, especially if you want to share with more than 2 people. - Taste: Crispy kunafa is what I grew up on. I normally love it and can't resist it. NOT THIS ONE UNFORTUNATELY. These seem pre- frozen, not homemade, b/c the quality of these kunafa's don't match the quality of their savory dishes. The soft one was so very dry, and the crispy one hardly had any cheese, was hard to cut, and I think they forgot the syrup. It was salty and not sweet. Kunafa should be a highlight not a let down. * 1 Star, thumbs down to their kunafa AMBIENCE: I like the design and artwork on the walls. Love the small merchandise section of Palestinian items you can buy, like kuffiyehs, ceramics and jewelry. (Sold by a separate Palestinian company) They have a nice outdoor shisha area also. I would for sure like to come here again with family or friends! I'd especially like to try their fish dishes. PS I mentioned to the manager that the women's WC needs a serious cleaning. It was quite the contrast to the rest of the restaurant cleanliness. He was very receptive to this info and expressed that he appreciated me letting him know so he can better it. Had an absolutely fantastic lunch here today. The place looks beautiful inside. We arrived right at opening and while two of us were waiting awhile for a friend to arrive we were kindly offered what I believe were Turkish coffees free of charge. The calamari appetizer we shared was delicious as was the lamb chop dish I had called Castaleta. Definitely the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. I highly don't recommend this place and I had a bad experience during New Year's Eve 2024. We had a group of 7 with reservations and we waited about an hour for food. They mistakenly ordered one dish twice for us and No FREE tab water there! Hot water is 2 dollars! Bottled water is 3. They never asked us for hot water refill so we were shocked on the pricy hot water and the unsatisfactory services. I would say the food tastes ok but nothing exceptional. I tipped 15% then I saw the receipts from the pose machine before I realized on the unacceptable charges (Yes we were not given any bill review before we got the machine.
