I received a call approximately 4 months later and the man at that time, told me I owed 400.00 that did not include extra charges for late payments at the time of my termination of services. I was furious, i had only been 3 days late on 1 payment in the entire 2 years i was with them. The thief on the phone told me they would have to send me to collection if I didn't pay. So when I paid the full amount including extra fees and charges, I found out they had reported me to the 3 Major credit card companies and txu had also sent my account to collections. 1 year after this happened, my soon to be wife and I, moved from her house into a house we had purchased together. Guess who who provider was? Now, guess what they told her and then did to her after??? Almost the EXACT thing they had done to me a year before. She was also reported to the credit bureau, and she was charged 300.00 with extra disconnection fees after she was told them same thing. Firstly, Jack JONES has no active telephone, a false address, and a false web address. The handyman arrives and wants to see all the projects; ---the outside hose bib had been constantly leaking for about six days and this is where he starts-he THEN WALKS INTO OUT HOUSE WITH NO BOOT COVERINGS! ---he then starts to repair the bathroom sink, needs a part and goes to Home Depot. He brings back the wrong part and decides he has to replace all the hardware on the sink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Disappears for two days with no communication! Appears now on the fourth day replaces faucet and leaves.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I check for leaks in the cabinet under the sink, YES leaking in three places. Call TXU Warranty and he returns. I switched to TXU after a door-to-door sales representative, Carol Price, told me TXU would be cheaper than my 4Change Energy plan. I specifically explained that my 4Change plan included a $100 monthly usage credit, and she still assured me that TXU would save me money. My actual bills showed the opposite. With 4Change, I used 1,587 kWh and paid $239.11. With TXU, I used 1,588 kWh and paid $303.74. That is almost identical usage, but TXU cost about $64.63 more. I feel the plan was misrepresented to me. If I had been shown an accurate comparison using my actual usage and the full value of my 4Change credit, I would not have switched. I contacted TXU and asked them to waive the early termination fee so I can change providers. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will pay for all electricity I actually used, but I do not believe I should have to pay a termination fee for a contract I entered into based on misleading information. read more

This is seriously the worst. You switch service over to the another address. What they do is keep service going at both locations and double bill you. When you try to get it ironed out customer service tends to understand they they escalate it to a supervisor. Then they just stonewall you and hang up. Hello, I'm writing this review as someone who is not a customer, but that is due to the actions and words of a salesman by the name of Devante Williams. This salesman came to our door and began to share what he was selling. When my husband asked him questions, he seemed annoyed, dishonest, and looking for an easy "yes". Not only did he look unkept, but his way of presenting the product seemed very unprofessional and uneasy to trust. There were a lot of "um" "well.." "maybe" and "it depends". He did not want to take no for an answer, became aggressive, and continued to tell my husband that he will "feel stupid " for not listening to him. He also mentioned that if we do not go with this energy company, we will eventually end up paying too much elsewhere and we will lose the house. My husband and I were completely thrown off by this salesman's behavior, and was surprised that he even left his contact information with us. If this is any indication of how the company is ran and a reflection of their morals and practices, I hope absolutely no one goes with this company.
