Great wings! Great sports viewing environment. It sits in a great business park where there is a myriad of eateries. It's a nice exspansive bar with tv's everywhere. The dining areas are separated by nooks and tall tables. The wings are great, plenty of flavor choices, and a good size. read more

Cute place, great service and delicious food! A friend and I were on the road and realized we were hungry. We looked up places to eat in the area and came upon Two Stones. We started with the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had. Seriously, the sprouts of my dreams! My friend had the chicken BLT, and I opted for the Katsu chicken sandwich. My only regret is that there was no place for me to shower after consuming the sandwich, it was so deliciously messy! World class fries as well! read more

We are not high maintenance customers but come on, pay a little attention to the patrons, shouldn't take her 8 minutes to bring us a menu, another 10 to take our order, while we won't blame her for the 40 mins wait for the food itself but she did manage to get the order wrong... read more

We visited the Middletown de location. They were friendly and service was good. The Cielo Pinot noir and Blow the Whistle NE IPA were excellent. We shared a hummus - it could be better with some garlic. The special Sloppy Joe was very good + a side salad. My wife said the mushroom flatbread was good. Sorry no picture this time. We found it odd that 90% of the screens had a Steelers game on at 3p. Maybe that's their focus. Next time I'll ask to switch. read more

Been here numerous times. We usually stop by on our way back up to NY. This time we ordered close to $100 worth of food to go and when we got ready to eat there were no utensils, no napkins and no ketchup for our fish and chips. I called and spoke to the manager who informed me that we could come back to pick up the utensils which would not have been convenient because our food would have been cold by the time we went there and got back to our hotel. She also informed us that they assume that since it's a to go order we are going home and don't need those items.... That is absolutely ridiculous.... If I was home I would have cooked, if I was home I would have had the food delivered.... With that assumption they have lost my business.... I would have been okay if they would have said we apologize we forgot to put utensils and napkins in the bag. read more

I visited this pub on a Friday for lunch with my girlfriends. We arrived right at 11:30 when they opened, so it was empty initially, but it quickly started filling up, showing that this is a popular spot. The menu offers a variety of pub-style dishes, and we decided to start with wings, truffle fries, and mussels. The wings were tasty, though I did encounter one that wasn't fully cooked. Aside from that, everything was delicious. For drinks, I tried the French 75 and the Sun-gria, both of which were light and refreshing. For my main course, I had the BBQ Beef Brisket Melt, which came with caramelized onions, cherry pepper aioli, and chihuahua cheese. I swapped the pretzel bun for a regular bun and substituted the chips for French fries. The brisket was well-seasoned and full of flavor. Our server was incredibly sweet and accommodating, though I can't recall her name. Overall, the atmosphere and music were great, and the prices were reasonable--about $20-$30 per person. Absolutely the best food for a brew pub and more. The chef is creative and each location offers different specials. Service is great and there are enough gluten free options for me. Also the only place I've been to in Delaware that offers organic chicken on the menu. Kudos to you! Nice atmosphere too and acoustic music on Fridays. read more

Had lunch here Saturday Nov 2, 2024. It wasn't crowded, that should have been a clue. I had fish tacos jerk style, they were ok, very small pieces of fish. Jamaican style sweet potato fries were good. My daughter had the chopped Sante Fe salad, the bottom of the bowl was full of water. We told the waitress, she didn't care. Everything was great about eating here! My husband and I shared the brussel sprouts for an appetizer. We each ordered the Stigz burger! It was juicy and delicious. Another great option while in the Middleton area. I'm not sure anyone can pass up 1 dollar wings on a Wednesday. The sweet heat wings were very good. The drinks were ok. They also offer plenty of local drafts on tap. Overall a great atmosphere. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We love that they source their ingredients from the local farms in the area and you can really taste the freshness in each dish. This was the most disappointing and overpriced meal I've had in quite a long time. Let me first say the service was actually pretty good. Our server was very friendly and I have no complaints about her. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the horrible, overpriced food. We started with fish tacos as an appetizer. Everything was pretty good EXCEPT the actual fish. Whoever fried the fish for the tacos shouldn't have a job as a chef. I don't even know how to explain how bad the texture was. The skin around the fish was rubbery and moist instead of crisp and starting to actually break away from the fish inside. It was pretty disgusting. For our meal, we ordered fish and chips (bad idea) and a "Hot 'Lanta" roast beef sandwich. I'll start with the fish and chips (with a nearly $25 price tag). The fries were completely over cooked and hard as a rock, so I barely even touched them. The coleslaw had no flavor whatsoever. Their "in-house" tartar sauce has very little flavor and ironically, that flavor is NOT tartar sauce. The fish pieces were very small and had the same exact texture issue as the fish in the tacos. It was absolutely disgusting and a complete waste of $25. The roast beef sandwich had a decent flavor but the beef was rubbery and the roll was stale and hard. The chips that came with the sandwich were also hard and stale. This horrible meal after tip was over $70 and neither of us felt satisfied with even one aspect of this meal. They are ridiculously overpriced and the food was not even close to being worth it. They should literally be ashamed of themselves. read more

Very nice place! Parking isn't a problem. Very friendly staff! The Sweet Heat wings are simply some of the best wings I've ever had. You could tell (2) things immediately: The sauce is home made, and they are meticulous about changing out the oil. I hate nothing more than a nice plate of wings cooked in old/dirty oil. The drinks were also notable. So much so, the bartender explained many of the mixers are fresh and made in house. I did not expect all of this--give this place a try! Very satisfying experience! A repeat caller here. 2SP never disappoints. Always brings their A game. Menu varies and expands with a great variety of options. There are, at times, some of the hottest condiments / sauces available, mostly blah options exist for wing sauces thought. But neither does the area ask for HEAT. We actually used to like it here a lot but the last couple of times the food hasn't been as good, and the most recent visit was rough. Three burgers and two salads took over an hour to show up, the salad order was actually messed up, the burgers were somehow both burnt and undercooked, and the staff wasn't particularly concerned with any of this. Definitely would no longer recommend, and it's too bad because it really did used to be solid. read more

Two Stones Pub wasn't as divey as I prefer on my road trips, but beyond that we had a good experience. I ordered the mashed avacado and hubby ordered the chorizo tacos. The server was attentive and brought a couple of draft samples for my husband to try (I was driving!). I've deducted one star for the size of the menu (this is a full restaurant but the menu doesn't reflect this) and the price point vs quality of the meal. We both enjoyed our meal and would come back, but the experience was similar to a Chili's or other chain and lacked authenticity, IMO. read more

Great service, great food. I typically go to the location in Newark. Had the "grow a pear" and a glass of Malbec. Both were great. For food, got the brussel sprouts and foi gras burger. Everything tasted the same as the Newark location. The brussel sprouts are charred and fantastic. The burger is the perfect proportion of sweet chutney and foi gras, very good. Came here to the new two stone Pub for happy hour with my friend :) it's only been open for two months are so in the new shopping center but it's already super packed! We both got some happy hour drinks and snacks. The drinks are fantastic I especially liked the peach one (not sure what it's exactly called). We got the mini nachos, a fish taco and brussel sprouts to split. I'm usually not a fan of brussel sprouts but these are delicious!! They are sauteed with balsamic vinegar and come with this delicious aioli sauce. The fish in the fish taco was super crispy and the taco was amazing in general. The mini nachos were also very good! It was a huge serving for a mini. We were still hungry so we got some dinner entrees as well. My friend got the fish and chips which she enjoyed and I got the crab cake sandwich with a side of truffle fries. Man the crab cake was so delicious! Lots of crab meat and not a lot of filler which is how a crab cake should be. The truffle fries needed alittle salt but were also good. I was happy with the whole experience and can't wait to come back to try other items :) What a great addition to Middletown read more

We were really looking forward to eating here. The outside window has some awesome Buddhist quote and the menu looked nice. It was 102 degrees and I brought in my frozen melting bottle of water which I was advised to carry by my dr. The hostess denied to seat us saying " we can't let u bring in your water because we are responsible for it". Don't know what that means at all but we were going to ask to speak to a Manager but she said don't bother they will say the same thing. We were going to buy lunch and booze so they would not have list a dime on us. So stupid and not Buddhist. Don't go The place is run by very stupid people who don't care about people. And ps I do understood that if my water had vodka in it and if I went out and ran someone off the road a dram shop law might hold them legally accountable. Great meal, open late , which we needed after much heavy traffic delayed our progress home. We had the fois gras burgers medium rare, one with truffle fries and one with BLT salad. Both perfect! My wife and I patronize the Two Stones Pub frequently for lunch and dinner. Anything we order is fresh and tasty. We are especially fond of Taco Tuesdays. I've eaten here a few times. Most items are good but today I had the Baja Bahn mi. It was horrible. Extremely dry and the pork was overcooked. If you are curious about Bahn mi or have eaten them before avoid this it was absolutely horrible. Avoid any Asian inspired dishes. We ordered a Korean dish and it was horrible too. Other food isn't bad. Fires and burgers are good. They have good beer selection but food is hit or miss. read more

The food specials are so creative and they have excellent customer service. I have some special dietary restrictions and they take great care of me there. We go at least two times a week. Like them on Facebook to see their lunch and dinner specials. The standard menu is great also. Burgers, wings, sausages, Fish and Chips all good. Taco Tuesday is also great. read more

Avoid this place. I've been going to various 2SP locations for the last 10 years. I have always had good experiences until this past year and a half. The food is extremely overpriced for what you get. Unless it is fried and salted you get ZERO flavor out of your dish. Order from the specials menu and not only is your food bland but you only receive a child's size portion. I am a lifetime mug club member. I love these restaurants. I love the beer and used to love the food. I would go 3-4 times a week with my wife and am on first name basis with bar tenders at multiple locations. Tonight sealed the deal for me. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad with chicken for $21. The salad was chopped into coleslaw size pieces of lettuce and romaine. There was practically no Parmesan cheese. The dressing was so sweet it was the only thing you could taste and the chicken was rubber. I will not be returning to this restaurant for anything but drinks from now on. I am really disappointed. This has been going on for over a a year at the Middletown location specifically and it breaks my heart. Avoid this place. read more

We stopped here based on the early reviews and so glad we did. We are ex-NYC currently living in Charleston, SC and we value good food. This did not disappoint. This is chef-cooked food, not food service crap. The red pepper bisque was one of the best soups I have had, ever. I kid you not! I also had the "small" BLT salad which was huge, loaded with bacon, Gorgonzola, heirloom mini tomatoes - for about $8. They had to lose money on that one. My husband had the chorizo beef chili which was smoky awesomeness, though stingy on the few tortillas that came with. All was served in less than ten minutes, great since we were traveling. This place is a local brewpub affiliate, so lots of great and well priced local beers. And we got there at 3 - score happy hour local brews for $3! Highly recommend.
