one of my best friends had this company hired to move her to her new place. Their services were paid for and they had six hours of billed time to load up the truck bring it to the new place unload and help help set up her stuff. she was promised three movers. She was only provided with two. the two that she had were two young guys who spent more time having a conversation with each other and arguing in another language, then getting stuff done. when the truck was finally packed it had taken them almost half the time they had to get it done. the most sickening part is when they got to the new place they told my girlfriend who is a single mother with two small children that their time was done and they would have to leave her stuff in her driveway. She said absolutely not. You cannot do that when she tried to contact the manager of the company He wouldn't answer her, and he hung up on her. He was very rude. He told her it was his day off. He is not dealing with this. They can either leave her stuff there in the driveway, or he can tell them to put it in storage and she can pay for it ! this is unacceptable how dare he treat her like that! so in conclusion, this company is a joke. Poor management poor time management skills. I do not recommend using this company.!! Please, everyone be aware! if I could leave zero stars, I would unfortunately I have to leave one!! read more

Worst experience I've ever had with movers. The worst moving company. I do not recommend anybody use their service. First thing one of the movers did before starting to work was ask to use the washroom, but then I realize he's taking a stinky number 2 in my washroom. They wasted time talking, they didn't have the proper tools and were ill prepared to complete the move. The movers also offered to make side deals for cash under the table which showed their employees integrity. While on the clock they took smoke breaks which breezed into our new home where my 2 yr old could inhale the fumes. They packed the truck completely disorganized which had me worried about my possessions. Then oh wait what a surprise they cracked my 75 inch tv and their basic insurance only pays $60. When the movers are leaving, the same guy asks to use my new unused bathroom but this time my wife said hell no. They stacked boxes clearly labeled don't stack and they moved our fragile glass wear with little care. Then they forgot to unpack a cushion for our love seat and they didn't return it for several days but when we do get it back it stinks like smoke so bad that its has to be replaced (yes that bad). I am not pleased to share our horrible experience with Two Small Men With Big Hearts Movers but I can't let you have the same thing happen to you. They exercised zero duty of care and barely any accountability for the damage that they caused. They will put any mistakes they make on you and tell you to use your home insurance which will up your premiums. Needless to say I do not recommend anybody use this service but if you do buyers beware of this untrustworthy company. read more

Being new to Vancouver, I had to find a moving company I could trust to move my things out of storage. I found these guys because they have won many Consumer's Choice Awards, and they deserve them. They were very particular about caring for my belongings, and the whole move went off without a hitch. These guys sucked ass. They showed up late. My family and I ended up having to move a lot of the stuff ourselves. They made a big fuss about having to properly wrap stuff. They were slow as molasses. The move took almost an entire day. It wasn't a lot of stuff either. Just a 1 br apartment. Across a street. They went WAY over the quote. They quoted $200 and the bill ended up being over $700. The icing on the cake was that they pressured us for a 'good tip' after all of that. I heard a similar story from a friend who had used them as well. Nope nope nope. read more

I had this company out of Red Deer move me the last 2 days. All my contents were loaded into a tankem truck on Feb 24th. Dave the owner told me delevier would be 11 am Feb 25th in Medicine hat. At 10 am on the 25th I called the Red Deer number and the load had not left yet...a lady told me the load would be there in 4 hours...ok....the load showed up at 4:30pm..no one called at anytime to let me know that they would be late....so I could have scheduled my day....my time is money as you r company knows so well. Load shows up in Medicine Hat, which means they moved my contents twice in a little trailer pulled by a half ton truck which means they moved my contents twice. All wood furniture was damaged badly and couch and chairs ripped. I had bought brand new furniture a year ago for the first time in my life and well all my coffee tables were damage with gouges and scratches and rub areas to the bare wood along with my bedroom set deep gouges and scratches and rub areas were it took all the finish off my furniture....The crew unloading never apologized and just made excuses " this is all just part of moving"....last time I moved everything was wrapped in blankets...in this case every thing was thrown in a trailer....my new couch has cuts to the material....the trailer was dirty and filled with wood sliver slpints which ended up on everything in the load...they broke the leg off my electric fireplace...and just asked if I had crazy glue....they never offered to call and get a discount...they told me that they have a guy in Red Deer that fixes all the damage they do to wood furniture...right there I knew if they have some one to fix everthing after your company moves someone is unacceptable...further more they show up with no cell phone and have to use mine They told me to find someone to fix all my damgae to my furniture and email them the bill...they never offered to help me find someone to fix all my furniture.....The time now I have to spend to find and deal with this is unexceptable...I work in 4 western provinves and all our employees are always moving ...I am telling the world not to use this company....I am hitting every company review on the internet.... You work hard to buy new furniture and this company recks everything with no compasion.....This company should be call "2 Men with NO HEARTS" ....I will also be contacting the "Better Business Bureau" read more

The movers showed up late with no notice. They were beyond rude and unprofessional once they arrived. Asked them to move upstairs and instead they choose to pack up down stairs after acknowledging they were asked to move in opposite order. They were verbally abusive and called me a b%$ch on multiple occasions. They threatened to quit and were extremely aggressive. They dragged our furniture rather than carry it. They were struggling to carry our furniture down our stairs without banging it into the walls and when it was suggested that they carry it through our backyard that had 4 steps we were told to mind our fu%$ing business. We felt extremely unsafe and uncomfortable that we ended up having other movers come instead. It was appalling that this company treats customers like this and its sad that if we were men it would be a different story. Manager was rude and didn't care and owner didn't return call. read more

When I called to complain, the guy who answered the phone said they needed a break and to have lunch... SERIOUSLY??? my move would have taken two hours, but they dragged it over 4.5 hours. I hired this company to move my belongings to storage and then two weeks later to my new condo. I am very sorry that I trusted them with my valuable belongs and just about every item of wood furniture was damaged. I was informed that it would cost over $2000 to make the repairs to the damage they did. The movers then had the nerve to suggest that I damaged the table top by helping them lift it. They repeatedly assured me that all my items were save and not damaged until I actually saw the damage. It has been almost a month and despite my frequent phone calls to address the issue I have had little response but rather delay after delay in getting my furniture repaired. Most times the manager/owner will not return my calls. They broke a glass table with a promise to replace it with a new one. They actually took another glass table top to use as a template with a promise to bring it back in two days. It has been almost three weeks and I never heard back from anyone despite several messages. I would definitely not use this company ever again or recommend that anyone else does unless you are prepared to work with dishonest people with no integrity or morals. The reason you hire movers is to make things easier on you and your family, or so I thought. This was a disaster from day 1 with these guys, it started with the estimate they did on our house which was very wrong. So when it was finally moving day the movers weren't prepared for how much we had (family of 7) so they spent the entire day moving and only got the upstairs/main floor items into the truck. It was late when they finally unloaded everything at our new house and said a new pair of guys would come early the next day for the rest... In total we needed them to fill 3 of their biggest trucks when they gave an estimate of only 1 needed. The movers treated our furniture with little care and misplaced a lot of our stuff, not to mention just how ridiculous the amount we had to pay for such a horrible job. All they did was move a few sofas and cabinets upstairs everything else was put into the garage, we're still in the midst of moving boxes upstairs and we moved in nearly a month ago. Overall, we had a very sloppy move, items misplaced/taken, cost an arm and a leg and ended up making the move 10x more stressful. Save yourself the trouble and go with another moving company, one with a professional crew that has good management, clearly Two Small Men doesn't care about their movers etiquette. read more
