    Pedigo Piano

    Pedigo Piano

I'm very happy to be the first one to review Pedigo Piano in Burlington…read more Purchased a used (but just like new) piano from them a couple of weeks ago. Was looking for a quality Baldwin spinet like the one I had when I was a kid. Had looked at some real dogs in the way of used pianos being sold online (people ask way too much for them). I've been playing for more than 50 years, so I know a good piano when I play one. Was expecting to pay much more for used at a piano shop than what you can find online. My advice: don't waste your time on buying used pianos from the online listing services. Pedigo was my last stop but should have been my first. Price was comparable to what you see in the online ads for used but included delivery, set up, tuning, and a two-year warranty. The buying experience at the shop was pleasant and easy. I was charged $100 for them to bring the piano upstairs, but that is reasonable and understandable. I now have a quality instrument and the assurance of not just a two year warranty, but if I choose to trade-up, the cost of this piano will go toward the next one I buy from them. After delivery, the piano needed a little more fine-tuning to bring it up to my standards, and they came through. John Pedigo, tuner and technician extraordinaire, not only re-tuned it for me, but tuned it to where that "sweet spot" of sound was brought out. While he was there, he even fixed an issue on my 130 year old Knabe upright grand, free of charge. Cannot recommend these folks and their store enough. Musicians, this is your place to go for a new or used piano, piano moving, and/or piano service.

Since…read moremy grand piano is 100+ years old, it requires fixing or replacement of the parts as well as regular tuning. He always brings back to its good conditions. I am happy that his tuning keeps the piano with well tuned for long. I will recommend anyone who needs good care on one's piano. katsuko O.

I recently moved an acoustic piano and needed some help getting it tuned. I had no idea when it…read morewas last tuned if ever. Hiroki-san was very courteous and quick in his email replies to book an appointment. He's in high demand so he requires almost a month's advanced notice to get an ideal time. When he arrived and did an initial test, the piano was flat to the point that an A was registering as a G. He said he would try to tune it but with the risk that a string might snap as he did multiple passes at it. I have no idea how piano tuning works and agreed to a more complex option on his price list. He cleaned and vacuumed my piano and was super patient with all my questions. My piano was returned to proper tuning after he worked for 3 hours straight tuning by ear then playing a little bit. Hiroki-san also gave me some maintenance tips and a card to lookup my client file for future annual tunings (which I will be adhering to here on out). I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking to tune their acoustic piano. Thank you so much for restoring my piano!
