What a cute shop. The two people working were just so nice! We had a group of 7 and they were so quick to take our orders and then make our food. I split the meatball sub special that came with chips and a drink and I was full from just half. My friend got a croissant with egg and veggies and it looked pretty good too. You don't pay until after you finish your food, which worked for them because some of us kept adding on chips and drinks. This little gem is tucked in the back of River Adventures and is worth going!

So glad we stopped here to have lunch, the staff/owners were very friendly. And the sandwiches were great. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside on one of their picnic tables. They've created a very nice atmosphere, people coming and going with the boat trips. Trees surrounding the property giving it the feeling of privacy. If you like a good sandwich, I would definitely recommend eating here!

Unassuming little café with indoor & outdoor seating nestled in a charming oasis on the Homosassa River. Wide variety of delicious fresh, homemade items for breakfast and lunch. Their complementary coffee is outstanding as well! I'm so glad to have stumbled upon this little gem!

The pork sandwich is not exactly the type of pork sandwich I've normally had. I would normally eat pulled pork but it wasn't bad sliced. It depends on what kind of texture you'd want for your meat. Coleslaw wasn't too bad & potato salad was pretty good but i'm not a huge fan of mayo. The Italian sandwich was spectacular! The pickles were like NY deli style kosher dill. Yummy!! If you eat outside you can spot the 2 alligators that they have there. Overall a lovely place & nice people that work at sandwich shop.

Two Pops sandwich shop inside River Safari Adventure Boatrides!

We had gone on the River Safari Airboat ride (which was awesome!) and decided to grab a bite before going to the State Park down the road. OMG! We ordered a Cuban sandwich. Sandwich came with chips and a pickle. Food was all prepared by hand. Fresh made authentic Cuban bread imported from Tampa with fresh smoked pork (smoker on premises). Delicious! Don't pass this little place by! Friendly staff! Even got 4 complimentary Valentine's day cupcakes! This is Old Florida at its best! Yum!

Outside remains the same with limited seating but we prefer eating inside. Even though it was busy we found a table right away. Our waitress came over and took our drink orders and left us to look over their menu per our request. The guys were very interested in one of their breakfast specials and ended up ordering it. Called a Tot Bowl the dish had tater tots, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and onion and American Cheese with Sausage Gravy and two eggs. Two pieces of toast of your choice is included - both chose Rye toast which they loved. Only difference between the two plates were how their eggs were cooked. My Hubby loves over easy eggs while my brother prefers scrambled. They both stated that they loved their breakfast with my brother commenting next time he visits he would love to go to Kim's again. I of course chose something different. I had a bowl of their Stone Ground Grits with two scrambled eggs and ham on rye toast. Both the grits and the breakfast sandwich were delicious and filled me up. The guys are hoping next time we go the Tot Bowl special will be available. A great, friendly, affordable, cozy breakfast diner!

Amazing. Spectacular. We've been talking about this place the entire weekend…read more We stumbled across Biscuit barn as hungry tourist. We were immediately greeted with a warm "hello" by a lovely waitress who put us on a 15 minute waitlist. About 10ish minutes goes by and my name was called, the place was very busy and the staff appear very attentive like they were pros at handling a little chaos. My boyfriend ordered the chicken co-op and I ordered the country eggs Benedict. These were some of the best biscuits we've ever had. This is a no frills kinda place but delicious. For 2 extremely full breakfast, a side of corn beef hash and 2 iced coffees (they even put ice on the side for us) with tip the meal was $43 and we took home half of our plates.

The grits and biscuits were delicious. The biscuits were golden brown, soft on the inside, and perfectly paired with the sausage gravy. The grits were also very well made, and perfect in the bowl! Three complaints: (1) parking was limited but definitely of size for the seats available in the restaurant; (2) the coffee was WAY too strong, bitter, and lacking normal coffee notes; and (3) they added a restaurant fee on the ticket. Still, we'd go again!

Our waitress was very attentive and made sure that we had what we needed; she even made us to-go drinks for the road! I had the taco salad which was Huge in a big taco shell - you could also have it served as a traditional salad if you prefer. I asked what the protein was and I was told ground beef, but she could see if they could make it as a chicken taco salad instead. I asked her to surprise me, and she brought out one made with chunks of seasoned chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream chopped inions and salsa which was very tasty. My friend had a tuna melt, which is her favorite meal for lunch and a side of onion rings. The sandwich came out nicely toasted with melted cheese and a thick layer of tuna salad. The onion rings were beautifully fried with real onion rings inside a crispy brown coating; she usually shares the onion rings with me but she must have been so hungry and they were so tasty, that she ate them all by herself! We then had to decide from a long list of desserts, including, pies, muffins and cakes. We split a slice of coconut meringue pie, which was quite heavenly! We come through this area quite a bit, so we will definitely return.
