After circling for parking 3+ times, I told my family if we don't find a space this last drive by, we will go to a different brewery and/or a different place for dinner tonight! Got lucky and parked two blocks away. 10 of their beers on tap; the rest are guest taps. So of course, I had to try their $3 signature Lager - Too light for me, basically you get what you pay for. Next... Pale Ale - $7, now that's more like it! No IPA today, so I had to settle. My daughter got the Yard Bird, Strawberry Lemonade Beer. Suits her. Ready for my 3rd beer, when my daughter said she wanted to go home and party some more?!?! So I abided. Lovely's restaurant is also here on the premises. See pictures and other 5 star Yelp review. Ambiance - Cool space. Lots of semi private spaces that you can rent. See pictures or their website. Very kid and dog friendly! Unisex restrooms with outside sinks, thank you! NO parking! So bad on a Saturday evening that we almost did not come. Open 6 days a week - see picture or their website. Closed on Mondays. Service - Counters service. For both the bar and Lovely's. The outdoor bar has WAY faster service than the inside bar, just an FYI. Price - Affordable, especially for the Bay Area. Just left South Lake Tahoe and paid $9 - $10 + tip a beer there, but you know that because you are following. Owner Comment - Congrats to the building since 1919. I've been to Two Pitchers a number of times throughout the years and yesterday I had an interaction with a staff member that's enough for me to not want to come back. When I went to close out my tab at the bar, the staff member who came over to help me gave me the dirtiest, impatient, pissed-off look that I've ever received in my life. It was as if I had kicked his dog and personally insulted him, his family and his entire generational line. When he gave me the payment device, he must have accidentally navigated away from correct screen because I didn't have any options to close out my tab (i.e. there was no tip screen, or place to request a receipt). I handed the device back to him and before I could point out the issue, he snatched the device away and rushed off. Knowing something was wrong, I waited at the counter for a few minutes for him to return. I raised the billing issue and his curt response was "you must have waited too long and the screen disappeared -- you're fine". I returned to my table knowing that something was off, but left with my friends since they needed to head out to a dinner reservation. After we had said our goodbyes to our friends outside the brewery, I shared the strange interaction I had closing out my tab with my wife, and as a precaution, she recommended that we head back to the brewery to try to close out the tab again, just in case something was overlooked. I thought this was a good idea, but this time, asked my wife to try to close out my tab, as I didn't want to experience the wrath of the impatient staff member again. To absolutely nobody's surprise, the tab was not closed out! This staff member is by far, the rudest individual that I've encountered in the service industry and should reconsider their employment if they hate customer interactions this much. Truly appalled by my experience and won't be coming back anytime soon. If management wants to investigate the issue further, the tab was opened at the outside bar at 8/14/26 4:23 PM, check #35, and was transacted on by three separate staff members: 1) first person who opened the tab was friendly 2) second person who added on the second round of drinks was the same rude individual who didn't correctly close out my tab later in the evening, and 3) the third staff member was the one who finally properly closed out the tab with my wife at 7:11 PM. read more

Love coming to this brewery for any occasion! Birthdays, catch-ups, study sessions, you name it - they have the space for it. Their indoor space is actually quite large if it's a rainy day too. The outside is super lively on a sunny weekend, and you'll see a ton of doggies and some kids. I enjoyed all the brews I've tried here, and there's one I'm still on the hunt to find again from here -- it was simply salt and lime light beer?? Still won't stop talking about it. Love this spot. The beers on tap are fresh and great. We discovered it during a birthday visit and have been back multiple times. It does get busy since the outdoor space is shared with folks grabbing food from Lovely's, but the two go hand in hand. Last time we got the Radler which was fresh and tasty but a little on the sweeter side. I'll probably try something different next time. Cool spot with lots of outdoor seating. They have canned hard kombucha which is cool and my husband thought the beers were pretty good. Just to warn you, parking enforcement was about to write a ticket for our car one minute before the meter ran out so don't be late refilling your meter. This brewery snuck under my radar to add to my Yelp bookmarks to try. I have tried breweries in the Oakland area and the overall general metro area but haven't come across this brewery before. So it was a thrill to try something new. The beer that Steve and I had was the Weekender. A Shandy or Radler type of beer and a beer type one doesn't come across too terribly often. It was pleasant revisiting this beer type and we enjoyed the flavors of Passion Fruit, Guava, some citrus which generated an overall tropical aspect. I love this place! Come for the amazing beers, stay for the ambiance and vibe. I've been here in various capacities--usually casually with my partner--but this spot is so cool and spacious that I even celebrated my birthday here a few years ago. Most recently, I was looking for a place for my local tennis social club to watch the US Open Finals. I emailed the team at Two Pitchers, and they were kind enough to host us! That's when I discovered "The Garage" behind Lovely's--a private, covered outdoor space I hadn't even realized existed. Apparently, it's only been around for about a year, and it's a little oasis with a 4K projector, sound system, and plenty of tables. All 40 of us fit comfortably. Everyone raved to me about the event - we will be back for more! The whole place is awesome. The front beer garden with tables and string lights is perfect on a nice day, and the indoor space is colorful, fun, and has that repurposed vibe (it used to be an auto repair shop!). The interior features high ceilings, cozy nooks, and comfy couches, while the beer garden spans two large outdoor patios--plenty of space for groups of any size. They have a great selection of beers, radlers, and slushies--I recently tried the Nova Slushee, which was delicious. Lovely's burgers are also amazing, but if the kitchen isn't open yet (they open at 4pm), you can bring in outside food. Bonus points: the place is both dog- and kid-friendly, making it perfect for a fun outing with friends or family. Two Pitchers is just a genuinely welcoming, fun spot with something for everyone! This was place such a great random find. We had just finished up at a nearby bar a friend had recommended and weren't ready to go home yet. Enter Two Pitchers. TPBC is always a great first stop to start the day off with a few beers. I've been here a handful of times now, and I don't even like beer. The place is spacious with indoor, outdoor, and even upstairs seating. Drunchies in the little stand outdoors. You can order from almost every angle of the bar area. Staff's always super chill. Maybe a little slow, but relaxed. Can never go wrong with a few Radlers -- a bubbly cocktail if you think about it. Had a Radler Creamsicle over the weekend, which came in a cute glass boot, and the microbubbles were delicious. It's also really affordable, with prices under $10 a pint for almost everything. They have something for everyone, whether you're a rugged IPA lover or want to enjoy a light, sweet sip. They do lean more on the fruity side, though, so if that's not your thing, then kick rocks down the street. 5/5, no notes. read more

This is a bit of a late review, but I went here with a close friend for the first time last month to watch the Super Bowl. The food was absolutely delicious and although I'm not much of a beer person, the beer here was soooo tasty. My impression is that Two Pitchers is a place that specializes in a few beverage/culinary platforms and executes them really well, with no need to impress through some bloated menu. On 6/21/2026 - At closing time closing staff harassed me and my friend because they forgot we were in the back watching the World Cup and verbally insulted us asking how we snuck in. You would not think the only exit during closing time is outside through the patio but staff will belittle you into assuming it was obvious. Been meaning to try this spot for years, and I finally did today! There's plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors, but since it was cold and the Chiefs vs. Texans game was on, staying inside was the best choice. I wanted to check out the mezzanine as it looked so cozy; but unfortunately, it was closed off. I was a bummed to see only one sour on the menu, the Great Notion Blue Raspberry Fluff (8% ABV). When I asked for a sample, I was surprised to see it was green. Green beer did not look appealing at all.... but I gave it a shot--and wow. Literally speechless. Looked my boyfriend in the eyes and told him "This. Is. The. One." As a sours-loving girlie, this one blew me away. Flavor profile was fruity, berry, a little tart, and had a candy-like sweetness. Honestly, it's the best sour I've ever had. Beating myself up for not grabbing a 4-pack to take home because I know it'll probably never come back. What a fun spot that is great for groups. It has plenty of seating both inside and out, with a huge bar. Inside, the place has super high ceilings and is quite industrial, so it's loud, and on a colder winter night, jackets were left on even inside. They have a ton of beers from a few different local brewers. The bartenders are hipstery - in this case meaning maybe not the most outwardly friendly, but I'm a pretty chatty Cathy and they chatted back. So, Lovely's is the burger spot that has a little kiosk area that is separately owned.*** Their smashburger is incredible - their fish burger not so much. But, I digress. If you're planning on getting food at prime meal times, the line will be long, no ifs and or butts. However, once the food is ordered, the food does come out quickly and that smashburger is what's up. I came here with my boyfriend and his friend last Friday. It was our first time visiting, and a good place to kick off the weekend! Lots of people were there. It's mostly an outdoor space with lots of long benches, which is great for large groups. While busy, we were able to find a spot. Came by two pictures brewing to celebrate a friends birthday. The space consists of an expensive indoor and outdoor area with small and communal tables in a warehouse like atmosphere. There is also a second floor, which we rented out for the event, that includes boardgames and Nintendo 64. The brewery feature both food and beverages. Drink orders are placed inside at the bar or outside at a window. Food orders are placed outside at a separate window where they will give you a number to bring your table so that staff knows where to bring the food. I tried the drive thru burger, which I really enjoyed, that came with American cheese, slow, cooked onions, pickle, iceberg, lettuce, tomato, special sauce, on a sesame bun. The burger had a fantastic ratio, and was very juicy and savory. I ordered two beers and, all I don't remember the specific ones, I recall them both being delicious and very flavorful. They were juicy and fruit forward. In fact, I noticed the description on many of the beers included fruit. I tried few of my friends beers and also noticed a fruit forwardness to them too. Stopped by here for the second time this past weekend and I'm glad I did! Two Pitchers is a great spot for groups, especially with all the seating. The beer is solid, there's a restaurant in the back, AND there's seating both indoors and out! I grabbed the Mai Tai IPA and my friend grabbed the Radler "creamsicle". Both were great! Though I enjoyed the IPA, the hit was definitely the creamsicle! I can't believe how much it tasted like a creamsicle. Will definitely be back anytime I'm in Oakland! Stopped by for a beer shortly after they opened the beer was okay the service was worst. I was looking at the menu and looked up to the bartender staring at me and he never said a word. He continued to stare and me, so I figured I'd clarify and asked if I can order with him since at this point there were no words exchanged to let me know he was the bartender. He responded by saying "yes I've been waiting for you" in a very dry and unwelcoming tone as if I he was already annoyed. I ordered the beer and then it came with half foam. The only positive of this visit was the burger at the little stand next to this bar. The beer is cheap here so I guess it could be worth the lack of quality in the service if you're on a drink beer mission. read more

As a new resident of Oakland I'm such a fan of this brewery. I love how there's indoor and outdoor seating for those warm summer days, as well as a burger joint connected to it for when you need a bite to eat. Just make sure you come early cause that line can get quite long. They are known for their fruity radlers which are some of the best I've had. My favorite one is the Nordic jam. It's light, fruity, and refreshing. Some other favorites would have to be the radler and weekender. I've been here multiple times now and have enjoyed the vibes and the staff are great.
