Not their actual brewery but just a taproom in the Prescott Market food hall. Their brewery is probably less than 4 miles from here, so their beers aren't traveling very far. I discovered Almanac's brews around the pandemic times, trying them in cans when we were all dining outdoors for over a year. I think Almanac's brews are good, but I just don't love them. There's no strong pull for me, but everyone is different, so just a personal preference in taste. But this spot is pretty cool. For being in this communal food hall, this is the only tenant that has a space with it's own walls. All other tenants are in plain view in the main space. If you sit in Almanac's space, then you will be separated from the rest of the food hall. But you can take their beer anywhere in the designated food hall. And/or you can take food from the other stalls inside here. Very nice flexibility. No servers, order at the counter. Not sure if you can start a tab, but most places do by leaving a card/number. I only had one beer to go with a burger from another stand, but we ate in Almanac's seating area, which are all communal heavy wooden bench seating. Cool spot that I would revisit for sure.

Such great vibes. Will and team were amazing, they took care of us, made sure we had everything we needed & even left us with a little to go. We tried the veggie and carne asada empanadas this trip for the first time. Veggie and Carne both delicious. Thanks, almanac for a lovely evening & for supporting black girl green house!

This is a great spot for the brewery! Located at Prescott Market, this is a great spot to grab a drink or two and enjoy their indoor our outdoor seating. The indoor is pretty spacious and they allow dogs! Service was very quick and they have an assortment of beer options. I grabbed a sour beer and it was pretty tasty.

Nice soot in the Prescott Market offering varieties of beer and flights of beer so you can sample more of their offerings Clean and friendly. Good contribution to the variety of other restaurants and food at the market. Beer goes well with any food, hahaha. Tried a sampler of 4 beers and actually liked the IPA. Refreshing and we liked being able to try 4 varieties.

Love the space. Its in Prescott Market and its very pleasant inside. Perfect ambiance and decor and most importantly very friendly and attentive staff. Super clean and beautiful space. I know you want to poo poo on me for this - 'oh it doesn't really matter' or 'oh your so shallow' - well, I guess for you you can enjoy your beer in some blighted alley nearby. The market was a bit warm and smelly from all the cooking - but the air quality and temperature in here was perfect. I really appreciated that. Tons of beer choices. Bartender was helpful in making a decision. Its funny but a bartender also plays a bit of a role as a sales guy - and sales people help indecisive people make a decision. There is so much to choose from - it really can become a problem sometimes. Endless food options nearby - if you haven't seen the market yet... what are you waiting for?

Almanac Beer opened recently in Prescott Market Hall. They have a separate room at the back of the hall for their guests to have privacy while getting buzzed. Hip Hop music. A barrista greeted me quickly upon my entrance, informed me of the choices. It Looked confusing till I saw Pliny the Elder! Offerings (beer, drinks, snacks): light/dark, fruity/tart, hoppy, guest beers, wines, slushes. Alcohol free. Gluten free, bites., Gulps: Pliny the Elder (10) 16oz. 8%alc. DIPA -brewed by Russian River Brewery, Santa Rosa. Rated by many sources as #1 beer in America. -smooth, hoppy but not harsh. Goes great with heavy food. Superior hops and brewing techniques evident in smooth taste. 1 pint of Pliny = many buds... -beer named after the Roman author of "Naturalis Historian", a 37 volume encyclopedia. Author died while observing a volcano eruption. 4.5 stars worthy-not easy to find Pliny in markets. Not all pubs have it. Quantity: good to the last drop. Quality: Russian & Almanac uses the best hops.... *small private parking lot in back

Almanac Beer is located in Prescott Market and seems to be one of the few places in the market that serve alcohol besides Pizzeria Violetta. My wife and I stopped by Almanac Beer after grabbing pizza slices at Pizzeria Violetta. The beer menu here is huge! I feel like this is a bit blasphemous, but I actually gravitated towards the guest beers that were on the menu over Almanac's own beer. On the day that we stopped by, the guest beers included Pliny the Elder -- a double IPA by Russian River Brewing Company, and "Coffee & Cigarettes" -- a smoked coffee porter by Cellarmaker. I ultimately chose a pour of the Pliny and it was as good as any Pliny I've had elsewhere. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of seating both inside and outside on the patio. Really nothing to complain about! I didn't see food on the menu, so you'll have to venture elsewhere in the Prescott Market to find food to go with your beer.

Live music Friday's, plenty of space indoor and outside, great food choices in the area, and excellent beer selection inside Prescott Market! This was our last stop of the night, but we will definitely need to head back. I love Almanac's beers, and wifey's hazy didn't disappoint. Even though they were pretty packed, there was still ample seating which was a plus.

Stopped by Prescott Market and this is one of the venues. They have tvs, close to the outdoor area, and bar area. Everybody was nice and friendly. The empanadas were good! Small con for this cider drinker, none on tap. But they did have cans so it all worked out!

Such a cool place in the neighborhood to grab some beer and have a great time. They have a large outdoor area and inviting indoor/bar area as well. They serve pretty big selections of beer, a bit of wine selections, slushies and ciders. The service at the bar was friendly and attentive.

Came here a couple of times over the past couple of months. Great spot. They had snacks like soft pretzel and hard kombucha and wine for non beer drinkers. Space inside is smaller maybe 6 big tables and barstools. Plenty of space outside during nice weather. Love the access to Prescott market. I'll be here regularly! Service is friendly.

I was at the area for a yelp event but it was running late so I went to the Almanac. The staff taking my order was super kind and patient with my questions as I was ordering. Very sweet young woman. She even gave my dog some treats ;) lavender magarita is non alcoholic and I liked the fragrance and taste. Honestly I chugged the flight lol but it was still good

First time here. The market hall is super accessible with plenty of parking surrounding on the street, no stair entries, ramps, and several restrooms throughout the inside. There is a cool communal area for indoor and outdoor drinking.

Next... Pale Ale - $7, now that's more like it! No IPA today, so I had to settle. My daughter got the Yard Bird, Strawberry Lemonade Beer. Suits her. Ready for my 3rd beer, when my daughter said she wanted to go home and party some more?!?! So I abided. Lovely's restaurant is also here on the premises. See pictures and other 5 star Yelp review. Ambiance - Cool space. Lots of semi private spaces that you can rent. See pictures or their website. Very kid and dog friendly! Unisex restrooms with outside sinks, thank you! NO parking! When I went to close out my tab at the bar, the staff member who came over to help me gave me the dirtiest, impatient, pissed-off look that I've ever received in my life. It was as if I had kicked his dog and personally insulted him, his family and his entire generational line. When he gave me the payment device, he must have accidentally navigated away from correct screen because I didn't have any options to close out my tab (i.e. there was no tip screen, or place to request a receipt). I handed the device back to him and before I could point out the issue, he snatched the device away and rushed off. Knowing something was wrong, I waited at the counter for a few minutes for him to return. I raised the billing issue and his curt response was "you must have waited too long and the screen disappeared -- you're fine". I returned to my table knowing that something was off, but left with my friends since they needed to head out to a dinner reservation. After we had said our goodbyes to our friends outside the brewery, I shared the strange interaction I had closing out my tab with my wife, and as a precaution, she recommended that we head back to the brewery to try to close out the tab again, just in case something was overlooked. I thought this was a good idea, but this time, asked my wife to try to close out my tab, as I didn't want to experience the wrath of the impatient staff member again. To absolutely nobody's surprise, the tab was not closed out! This staff member is by far, the rudest individual that I've encountered in the service industry and should reconsider their employment if they hate customer interactions this much. Truly appalled by my experience and won't be coming back anytime soon. If management wants to investigate the issue further, the tab was opened at the outside bar at 8/14/26 4:23 PM, check #35, and was transacted on by three separate staff members: 1) first person who opened the tab was friendly 2) second person who added on the second round of drinks was the same rude individual who didn't correctly close out my tab later in the evening, and 3) the third staff member was the one who finally properly closed out the tab with my wife at 7:11 PM.
