We dropped in Saturday around 4:20pm. We got to sample some beers before we committed. They are better with their hazies. We ordered 2 hazies to share. They have both inside and outdoor seatings. Parking is street parking.

Amazing vibes at the spacious outdoor patio - came for the drag show, stayed for the drinks. I would definitely recommend the Cucumber Kolsch and getting a beer flight so you can try multiple beers! Definitely worth planning a fun night out around

Temescal Brewing was founded in 2016 on the values of Quality, Community & Vibes. During a recent trip to Oakland, we visited on a Saturday and I legit felt the good vibes and community whilst enjoying a flight in their beer garden. I saw with my own eyes several groups of friends happily congregating, and some even brought their toddlers and canine companions. Service was friendly and of the four beers I sampled, my faves were the Pils and POG Seltzer. I tried to go back for seconds on the seltzer but unfortunately they were tapped out. Should you find yourself in the area and you're a fan of beer, I recommend a visit to Temescal. Cheers!!

Cute beer garden to chill and grab a beer with friends. The decor is super cute and I love the "no jerks" attitude! So fun! They also host weekly events here like trivia and a book club! The service was great! Super fast and friendly. The beer selection is small here but I did find something to drink. You can also buy beers to go.

Always a fun spot to chill out and have a beer or turn up and bust a move or two. Love this place!

Finally got to try Temescal Brewing and it's yet another brewery I have been wanting to try for a long time. So it was good to checkmark this brewery off of my "to try" list. What Steve and I had was the Temescal Hazy, a hazy New England style IPA which we liked. Flavor highlights with this beer are juicy, melony, tropical and bitter. A solid IPA that is for sure but not necessarily the most unique one I have ever tried but as I said solid all the same.

Springtime is coming! This place has a great full service outdoor seat area for Temescal Summer people watching. They have n/a beverages and seltzer for those who choose a mellowed trip. I'm an IPA drinker and they have a fantastic Hazy that will have you hooked and coming back soon. A nice find with street parking, a diverse crowd and top shelf beers

Cheers!!

We were visiting from out of town, so we took a stroll and discovered this brewery. Friendly service, good beer, and a chill type of atmosphere A great place to try.

Temescal Brewing is one of my favorite breweries to visit in the East Bay. Like lots of places, the beer is good. They have a more interesting selection of beers than I find at most places. The food trucks out front are excellent. The decore is miles ahead of anyone else as is their bathroom game. This winter, for example, it was transformed into a winter resort getaway right in the middle if the city! There were tinsel trees, signs showing them as a "ski village, and even a ski check WITH SNOW SKIS! Staff is friendly and patient. The bathrooms are large, very clean, and supplied with extras like lady products, breathe mints, hand wipes, fentanyl test strips, and Narcan (can't be too safe). Before you leave, get some beer for takeout. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

I'm glad I found this beer garden. Ambience it's super cool, they have fire pits when it gets super cold , service 10/10 and good beer options. They also have a different Foodtruck everyday day. Nothing can't beat this beer garden. Beer and food? Count me in!

Is outside food allowed?

Yes!

Is it dog-friendly?

Yes, they even have some water bowls. But I don't think dogs can drink beer and less they're 21 and have ID. ;)

Is it kid friendly?

We are kid-friendly but are aware that it is also a space that serves alcohol so it can get pretty busy really quickly that can turn into a not very ideal environment for kids. In saying that, all kids are welcome though!

Is the outdoor area covered during weather?

Yes, they have a clear tent.

Got lucky and parked two blocks away. 10 of their beers on tap; the rest are guest taps. So of course, I had to try their $3 signature Lager - Too light for me, basically you get what you pay for. Next... Pale Ale - $7, now that's more like it! No IPA today, so I had to settle. My daughter got the Yard Bird, Strawberry Lemonade Beer. Suits her. Ready for my 3rd beer, when my daughter said she wanted to go home and party some more?!?! So I abided. Lovely's restaurant is also here on the premises. See pictures and other 5 star Yelp review. Ambiance - Cool space. Lots of semi private spaces that you can rent. See pictures or their website. Very kid and dog friendly! Unisex restrooms with outside sinks, thank you! NO parking! So bad on a Saturday evening that we almost did not come. Open 6 days a week - see picture or their website. Closed on Mondays. Service - Counters service. For both the bar and Lovely's. The outdoor bar has WAY faster service than the inside bar, just an FYI. Price - Affordable, especially for the Bay Area. Just left South Lake Tahoe and paid $9 - $10 + tip a beer there, but you know that because you are following. Owner Comment - Congrats to the building since 1919. Congrats on your success since 2021; glad we were able to visit.

Their indoor space is actually quite large if it's a rainy day too. The outside is super lively on a sunny weekend, and you'll see a ton of doggies and some kids. I enjoyed all the brews I've tried here, and there's one I'm still on the hunt to find again from here -- it was simply salt and lime light beer?? Still won't stop talking about it. Anyways, I'll be here again!

The menu features traditional Bavarian fare, and we started with the Bier Snack Platter, an appetizer board that came with a warm pretzel, braunschweiger (venison pate), salami, obatzda (Brie, Pilsner, and cream cheese spread), spicy peanuts, and pickled egg/veggies. The soft pretzel wasn't particularly authentic and lacked a chewy texture, but I was a fan of the slightly funky, creamy venison braunschweiger. From the selection of sausages, we tried the weisswurst (a white veal and pork sausage), a duck with Vermont cheese sausage, and a smoked Montana venison sausage. My favorite was definitely the non-traditional duck with cheese, which had a nice meaty flavor and unctuousness from the cheese. Finally, we had the Jägerschnitzel, a pan-fried pork cutlet topped with a wild mushroom cream sauce, and served with sides of sauerkraut, rotkohl (sweet braised red cabbage), and spätzle (egg noodles). My favorite side was the spätzle, which had been lightly pan-fried and had a nice caramelized, crispy texture. Overall, the food here was all decent, though most of the items weren't particularly fresh tasting or authentic. The duck sausage was a highlight, but I wouldn't go out of my way for the food here.

The fries arrived cold and had a chalky texture, as if they'd been cooked well ahead of time and left sitting. The battered fish itself was cooked nicely, but the oil tasted old and overheated, which really came through. The pork lacked any crispness, and the clam chowder was overly salty with an unusual flavor profile compared to what you'd expect. The restaurant wasn't busy--only a few tables--so the issues didn't seem related to being overwhelmed. I had a lot higher expectations for the pretzel, but that was another premade frozen item reheated... There's a solid foundation here in service and ambiance, but the kitchen execution needs attention.
