So I needed last minute mover's because my other movers ghosted me. I contacted this company and was given a "deal" from Tony the owner. Well Tony was kind but his movers were total garbage! I should have micromanaged them a bit more but I was the only one on site and the photos will tell you everything about their lack of compassion for other peoples things!!!! They literally RUINED MY KIDS YEAR BOOKS, ARTWORK, and FAMILY PHOTOS!!! My mothers crystal was absolutely crushed!!! Most of this "stuff" as movers call it is irreplaceable!! Do not hire them... find someone who gives a crap (hahaha) and use them. read more

I decided to use this company for a pack up and short, 2-mile move. The estimate was fair and the communication leading up to the move was timely and consistent. Packing went as planned...but this is where the positive ends. The move itself was quite unprofessional...to say the least. As reference, I have moved multiple times, including from overseas, with little to no damage AT ALL. The following damages were sustained in this move: * broken and damaged finials on multiple curtain rods * my sons brand new bed was so poorly handled, the screws were ripped from the frame...and were completely gone * they lost the bolts that hold my refrigerator handles (they offered to order them, but all things considered I handled it myself) * the dryer was disconnected improperly so the connecting hose for the gas was damaged (also brand new) * multiple frames were damaged because they simply stacked them WITHOUT protection between each one Each crew was tipped very well in addition to the heavy cost of what I thought was a professional company. It is clear that the crew actually performing the work is NOT well trained or professional. I do not recommend this company for anything related to packing or moving. You are better off either hiring a real moving company or taking care of it yourself. read more

Caution caution.....this company offers a "bait and switch" approach from quoting to final bill. Had a two medium size appliances moved less than 4 mile driving distance. It was about an 1 hour .... driver stuck me with a bill thereafter that included more than 40% increase beyond what was quoted. Not happy, I requested that manager contact me and never heard back next day from anyone. Note: They charge by the hour starting from when they actually leave their facility to point of return to their facility. Pretty cleaver to schedule a 5p appointments during Katy rush hour if charging by the hour. I was warned by friends of these shenanigans and ignored it since it was a straighforward move of items (two items and no packing) and can't go off what you hear. TERRIBLE!!! They showed up an hour late on move day. We sat around in a packed apartment waiting on them to arrive. They packed our tv in a home depot box and today when we plugged the tv in the screen was smashed. We have a 75 inch TCL Roku that retails for $800 and they will only offer $60 for it. I've never had a bad experience with movers until using Two Men and a Truck. The manager at the Katy location is rude, insensitive, and completely unhelpful. read more

First of all do not use this company i should have posted this review a year ago when I used them. They broke a glass lamp of my fathers he passed away years ago so it was priceless, then they broke a desk snapped the leg and drawer off didn't even apologize opps On top of it all they let the furniture get wet in the rain didn't even try to wrap it right to keep it dry they didn't have furniture blankets they were extremely late . Needless to say i should have said something sooner but i was going through a divorce so watch out you get what you pay for. read more

Packers the day before I initially thought they did a great job, but than found dishes and small appliances that they didn't pack. Was happy about that and i tipped them well too. Moving day they all hustled and respected our house and items. Was disappointed when not everything fit into two trucks and had to return for remaining items which cost us another hour of time. Second truck wasn't as large as first. Did have some floor damage, that is being fix a week after we moved in. Would have been a great move if not for the floor and having to make another trip to our old house. Wouldn't recommend using their wardrobe boxes as they are the small size and they charge the large box price of $12 each. 1/2 Price box has large for same price and twice as big. read more

No social distancing even after providing masks to the movers, they did not wear them. They literally scratched it broke every item of furniture that they touched. They damaged doors, hardwood stairs, walls and trim. They gave us an estimate, we moved half of what they estimated in a Uhaul before they came and the bill was the same. I believe they purposefully quote low to get your business. They give you a price but when they show up they tell you they bill by the hour. Horrible experience. They did reimburse me half of what I had to pay to paint one house and they sent out repair people to touch up furniture. The people the sent were good but everything is still damaged. I'm checking to see if I waived my rights to sue when I signed their contract. read more

I am glad I found this company that helped moved my facial electric bed, a bulky and fragile item, from a Katy salon to Richmond, TX at a affordable rate. Teddy and Stephanie from West Houston answered all my questions professionally and Teddy helped me a lot to accommodate my special need requests. Troy , the driver called me today about 30 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time and these drivers were on time to pick up my item for delivery. Troy and Devin did a wonderful job picking up and wrapping my item carefully and did the entire delivery in under one hour. I highly recommend this company. read more

This is one of my first yelp reviews, I don't typically find much to be upset about, I'm pretty easy-going, and reasonable about things. This move was bad. The movers are very slow, and although we had half of the furniture and boxes that we have had in previous moves, it took them longer to do this move then I have ever had in any move with another company. When I tried to call and settle things with the company, it was very clear they did not care about our bad experience, and very clear they just wanted to keep our money and run. If you're going to pay $500 to hire movers, go ahead and go with one of their competitors, you will get a much better job, and pay about the same. We went to this company because they charged by the hour, and knowing how much stuff we had to move in our apartment we were certainly could be done in about an hour and a half, they took three hours. read more

Wow. Where to start.... I was quoted $525-$725. Which was cheaper than the other quotes by $300-400. When they showed up, they indicated their truck was too small for what the estimator had quoted and that they needed to get an extra person at $35/ hr in order to speed progress for a second trip. I agreed. It was raining so I knew progress would be slow, so I basically counted on the estimate doubling at that point. They got about 2/3 of the house packed and delivered. I signed the invoice for $1125.00; still having 1/3 of my house unmoved. Turns out they "authorized" my debit card for the amount of $1600, a fact they had not made me aware, so when I called to see what the erroneous charge was for, I was told that they had miscalculated my bill and I actually owed $1400. I said that if they came back and finished moving my house that I would gladly pay them the entire $1600 that they had already charged my card. The manager (Jesse) said he would call the owner and see what he could do. The owner, a full on potty mouthed thug, then called and said there would be no "deals" and that he was going to charge my card and there was nothing I could do about it. So, I then called corporate to try to get some sort of satisfaction. Yeah right....They informed me that these are privately owned franchises and they could mediate the situation if I paid the bill. Long story short, my quote DOUBLED, my house is still NOT MOVED and they are trying to screw me out of ANOTHER $275. Just as a side note, when I relocated to Houston a year ago it was a 108 mile move. Those movers got the entire house and the final bill was $1100. I'm an idiot for taking the BAIT & SWITCH. I should have known better. Don't make the same mistake I made. For what its worth, I'm declining the charge, since the signed receipt that I have is for $1125. I guess I'll be seeing these guys in court. read more

I have used this location 3 times in the last year as we had to move multiple times after Harvey. Each experience was terrific! They were punctual, efficient and took great care with our belongings and our home. The movers were friendly and helpful. Sorry to see the bad reviews but our experiences were great! read more

Terrible move. Charged twice the original estimate. They packed terribly, rode the clock and I am still discovering damage from the move. They failed to move everything even with the additional time spent. Would not recommend them ever.. Now wish I had used Foxx movers agin.... read more

DO NOT use this moving company. Worst moving experience of my life. The team of 4 fought the entire day - 2 of the guys thought a 3rd guy was too slow didn't know what he was doing criticized him ALLLLLL day long. That guy was trying to train a new guy who had only been on the job just 5 short days. All of this non-sense slowed things even more. Items that were NOT to be moved touched or even looked at which were in bedroom closets underneath bedding were stolen from 2 of my children's bedrooms. THIEVES - and they stole from children. This is low. The owner came to my house the next day to talk to me about "what went on at my house" Ends up he had to have a talk with all of them, because one of his own call to corporate to complain about the day he had during my move. They ended up taking off 2 hours of move time to compensate for my "stolen" items This was a nice gesture but had they not spent the whole day complaining about each other it should've been 2 hours less anyway. This did not come close to the cost of the items taken. One of the items was a pair of my child's prescription sunglasses. Who does that - nobody but my child can wear those. Another LOW They broke a piece to one of my son's bed and propped it up and tried to act like it never happened. When I called the office to report this, Megan was so nice and was like send me photos of the items and we will send out our furniture repair man and he will fix it. So I did, waited a couple days and called back. And imagine this- She no longer has a repairman available and the only thing they can offer is the 60 cents per pound on the item. LOW again So now I'm waiting on anything a check a response to the price anything and I hear nothing. I send an email yesterday. Nothing. I send it again today and Megan called me back to say they had already sent a check. Which I did not receive. I explain to her that I didn't receive it and I suspect it may have gotten lost in the mail (since other items I had been expected had gotten lost) can she check the bank account to verify that it hasn't been cashed. She puts me on hold for a period of time finally comes back and says, sorry we mailed it and that is it. I asked if she could reissue another one. No, she says we can't. We can only reissue if we have the old one back. What kind of business runs like this? I asked if that how it always is, a check is lost and too bad customer, you don't get it because I would need the lost one in order to reissue a new one. THE LOWEST - but this is the policy THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT EVER USE THEM. I will continue tell my story on every form of media I can. read more
