I do not recommend Graceful Movers…read more This was by far the longest and most frustrating move I've ever experienced. I came fully prepared. Everything was already packed and most items were disassembled, with the exception of one bed and an entertainment center. All belongings were staged in one easily accessible area, ready to be loaded. My new home is only 11 minutes away, yet it took a team of three movers over 5 hours, nearly 6, to complete the move. To put that into perspective, I've used movers before with fewer people and a much longer drive of about 45 minutes, and they still completed the entire move in under 3 hours. There was nothing efficient or "graceful" about this experience. The excessive amount of time it took is completely unacceptable, especially given how prepared everything was. To make matters worse, I still have to reassemble my furniture myself. At the pace they were moving, I can only imagine how much longer it would have taken if they had done it. Overall, I feel taken advantage of and would not use or recommend this company.

I used Great Movers July 16, 2022 to move about 80 boxes, a table, and 2 shelves. (This was a 1 bedroom on the first floor move, however I lost everything due to water damage in the apartment. So I had very little to nothing to move. I hired movers for the 3 pieces of furniture I had being too heavy for me to move) Loading the truck with my items took them 2.5hrs, when I was located on the first floor and less then 10ft from where the truck was parked. All the items where in the living room, as I tried to help make the load up a smoother and easier process for the men. For whatever reason this still took them that long to load up. When trying to ask what was taking so long, the men would ignore me. Once it came time for final payment, I was shown the charge, provided my card and signed. I asked if I could get what was just shown to me, I was told that it would be emailed. Then the Hellman quick lit locked his phone and went to the truck. When I received my invoice via email, I noticed the charge was different then what I signed for, when I provided payment. They charged me an additional $294.72, when further looking at the invoice, the time was edited, I was charged for boxes, tape, and shrink wrap (none of which I used, as all my items were packed up, taped, and shrink wrapped by me) and none of this was shown when I provided payment. When reaching out to dispute this, I was told that "all moves are different and can take time due to many different factors". They could only offer a $50 credit. Which is a slap in the face considering how much money they took from me. They stole, edited the document after I signed, and took advantage of me. I strongly believe this was done because I am a single female and the men moving thought they'd be able to take advantage of me. They will not give me back the $291 that they stole from me, because I do not have proof of them editing the time, and not using their tape, boxes, and shrink wrap. Stating that since I have "signed" for it, it is valid. What I signed for when they left to when they edited the invoice are two different thing. I will never use or recommend Great Movers! However, I will tell everyone how they take advantage of single females!!

Two Cuban guys, were excellent during my move. Independent movers. They insisted they would break everything down but I was on time, so I did the breaking down myself on my leave. But they did set up in my rooms as needed. Could of founded cheaper, because it was like 4 hours total, but they worked hard. Ended up spending 600.00. Will I do it again. I'll only spend that much or more moving in a house. But if you want good service, and can't find movers during last minute time, hire Richard Moving & Delivery. Movers worked hard but they seemed they just wanted to get the job done and get their check. You can find many other better options. Allen Beaulieu, the rep who I made the original contract with, sold me on the idea of the "Full Value Protection" which boasted up to $100,000.00 coverage on my home goods. I paid the extra cost for the "full protection" because he assured me that any damaged items would be much better covered with the insurance. This was apparently a lie as it has been 2 months since I filed my claim and the company has repeatedly advised me that the insurance company was still evaluating the claim, and that there was nothing Graceful Moves could do until the insurance company made a decision. There are no rockets are science involved in this transaction. I paid Graceful Moves to move my furniture. I paid for the extra insurance which Graceful Moves recommended. Graceful Moves broke my table and they now refuse to make any payment despite the fact that I had the "Full Protection" insurance. Use Graceful Moves at your own peril.
