We've been charged 3 separate times totaling $2,055 and I still can't get anyone to answer my calls and my pool is still not open or ready to swim. The communication (or lack thereof) is terrible. I even tried emailing the manager to see if that would help and it hasn't. Really wanted to find a company I could use year after year but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen in this case. The brand new filter they installed stopped working in under 3 months. Let's see if they honor their warranty ***UPDATE: Pool was not filtering correctly so we called another pool service out. He said not only was the wrong kind of sand used but only a third of the amount needed! This company keeps costing us money I wish I could make my review better but there's too much to say. I contacted them for a service appointment for my leaking spa. The tech came out opened the cover saw the water level was down about a foot and within the first 2 mins turned on the jet to the spa and shot water all over me, soaking me he said yeah sorry about that. Why you would turn on the jets knowing the water is going to shoot out was beyond me. I then explain that I had removed 3/4 of the panels to find that there was water leaking and you could see water stains, and some of the insulation was coming out. The tech then told me that normally he has seven appointments a day but today he only has three and he said he told the office, you know I could be home sleeping. I have other stuff to do, so now I have three appointments today. Ok? The point of him telling that to me I'm not sure. He then took off the arm that holds the cover up when you take it off, and removed the rest of one of the panels. He said oh this has the insulation in it that we have to pull out normally we don't mess with that. I said okay, well do you want me to pull it out so we can take a look at the hoses and valves I mean your here to fix it and to see where it's leaking. He said yeah and then we both proceeded to pull out some of the installation to expose the hoses. Once he looked at everything on the right side of the hot tub he said well, it's not leaking here, it's wet but who knows where it's coming from. I said okay could it be the other side, or could there be a crack? He said maybe but you're running out of time on this appointment so you're going to have to call back in and have another service call. I said what? You came out, you haven't found anything, I'm getting charged and you haven't fixed anything, he was like yeah I don't have time. So I then requested him to open up the panel on the opposite side to see if possibly the leak was over on the left side. He unscrewed the panel dropping all the screws on the ground even though I gave him a cup to put the screws in. We both looked at it when he removed this panel and it was obvious that was where the tub was leaking it was soaked, and there was some bugs crawling all over it. He said you'd have to pull all this insulation out and reschedule another service call. So I questioned is this not fixable, he said everything is fixable. So then I questioned - because it is a older tub but still in great shape if they did any kind of pickup and haul away and he said yeah $300 bucks takes a couple weeks. Then he said oh there's some stuff that you can pour in it like Fix-A-Flat to see if you can seal it or something like that. I was like pour where as I lifted the tub lid and he said in the filter. He didn't tell me anything more about it or if he had it or he was going to do it. Nothing. He said ok well that's it then. I said so you came out and we tore all this apart but we're not going to fix it we are just gonna leave it. He said no that he needed to go. So after he left and I stood there looking at the mess that was left and none of the panels were put back on. I was trying to figure out what I was going to do. I decided to call the office and explain what had happened. I was put on hold for 10 minutes. When the service manager came on. He said yeah older tubs leak, there's this leak stuff. We'll send it out to you. (I'm guessing by mail I have no idea). He said if it works then we'll send somebody out and maybe they can get that cleaned up. He said but your tub's old and you might have to start working on saving money for a new tub. Which kind of irritated me because he doesn't know my financial situation, but immediately thought that I wasn't able to afford a replacement tub. But they never took the time to repair my leak, and see what was causing the water to drop a foot. So how do I know I need to replace the tub maybe it was a simple repair. That's why I called them. Side note yes I can afford a new tub. Long story short I paid $140 for a leak to be fixed that wasn't, and left me 3 hours clean up! Paid for a leak stop product. Our Cal Spa hot tub is just under two years old and our cover is was hit with hail last Memorial Day weekend. We worked through the insurance and we were finally approved for a Cal Spa replacement cover. I was not home when they delivered but when I got home, it is not a Cal Spa cover. I called Two Men and was told, "no, our ladies make these covers and most people like them because they are light weight". I noted it is not as thick as our previous cover, does not have the full extra center insulator, is more of a nylon fabric, and about 2" too long and the clips are not aligned. I was further informed they did not order a Cal Spa cover because it was more expensive for them because they have to pay for shipping, Leslie's has the Cal Spa covers and they have free shipping... We were told their "lead" guy would be out last week to look at the cover, and they would see if they have a Cal Spa cover on site they could bring out. Nothing, no follow up or response. So disappointed. You spend over $600 for a hot tub cover and don't get what was requested. Still waiting to resolve, now we have to go back to the insurance company and tell them we did not actually get our replacement cover. So disappointed. read more

I contacted this company for a leak in my spa. After a week of waiting I was charged $95 for a service call. Derek the technician came out for approximately 20 mins and stated he couldn't detect the leak. To further diagnose the leak he would have to charge 500$ each way to the shop and 6-10 man hours to trouble shoot and fix. I told him i would think about it. A few hours after the service appointment I was contacted by Kevin the sales manager. I was then being questioned about a new hot tub. Two days later i decided to look for the leak. The coupling from the pump to the heater had water leaking from it. I inspected it and found out the gasket was shot. I purchased the $1.99 gasket from a more reputable store. After installing the gasket, original spa holds water and is NO longer leaking. Kevin contacted me via text and stated that "No visible water is seen coming from the heater. Now it's possible it leaked afterwords but when the pic was taken and he was there it's dry up front ." Emphasis that it leaked afterwords.... A $1.99 and less than an hour of my time and no other leaks...and the spa is holding water for 4 days now with zero leaks. Sounds like that was the issue altogether. I inquired about some sort of refund for this oversight and was not offered anything I will NEVER recommend this company and I would stand clear of the sketchy business practices. $1.99 could have turned into a 2,000-2,500 dollar fix or worse yet a new hot tub for even more. read more

Our pool over the years was cleaned and serviced by a private company that closed last year. They were amazing, and I can honestly say I never had a problem and our pool always looked great. But we were forced to find another pool cleaning company this year. I called around, and couldn't find anyone who had availability... until Two Men and a Spa Dolly. Should have been my first clue of what kind of company they were since that they had availability. Our pool was opened the first week of April... and it was still not clean when we stopped using Two Men & A Spa Dolly (June). They had excuse after excuse of why it wasn't cleaned. We paid for twice a week cleanings for two months. Finally after OVER $2,000 worth of repairs we paid them, they told us the pool still wasn't fixed (nor cleaned), my husband told them that if it wasn't fixed by this past Friday, we would dispute the charges on our credit card. He also said that he didn't want them servicing our pool anymore, and please bring home our pool cover when they come and fix it. They came and said they fixed it, however it would be over $900 that we owed because there were still parts that were broken. My husband said he would not pay that... One, we already paid the $2,000 and didn't know it would be additional cost. They said that we could not get our pool cover until we either paid it, or that WE needed to uninstall all of the parts that they installed to our pool, and return them ourselves at their place of business, and at that time, they would give us our pool cover for us to haul home. Needless to say, we hired a new Pool company to clean our pool, and after ONE cleaning, our pool looks finally clean. They spent a long time cleaning it, and told us it was neglected. My husband is going to remove the equipment that they installed, and return it for our refund this Friday... hopefully in return getting our pool cover back. One more note, when my husband asked to speak to the owner of the company (Hopefully to come to some fair solution), the Service Manager stated... you are speaking to him. He was extremely rude. I had started out with high hopes for them. I had them come to look at our spa. I advised them of where it was leaking at and explained where the leak was. Needless I was pretty shocked when they advised that it only needed a few parts which they would need to order. I was optimistic that maybe I was wrong about what was leaking and they were probably right, as they were the experts. About a month later they returned with the repair parts that they had to order. They made the repair, they asked me to fill it up within 24 hrs. So I filled it up and it wouldn't fill up in fact it had the same leak that I mentioned when I first called. They came back and advised me to purchase a new spa. So all of this to just confirm what I basically new from the beginning but now I had to pay for nothing. read more

On Friday I get a call saying they have a Hot Tub Show to attend the next week and the office manager is cancelling all scheduled appointments. They had no give -- they said they would reschedule for the following week and I needed to make arrangements for the new owner to just let it sit there for the week. No give. UNDEPENDABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Office manager should be fired as is opening up the company to legal action. The leak is still there, possibly worse. When I reported it, the company said they were sending me a bottle of "leak seal". This is after the original visit cost us close to $1000. WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! LIES, OVERCHARGES, DON'T SHOW UP WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL. They will tell you one thing and then try to charge you more! Here's what happened to me: I hired them to close my pool in November 2018. They were booked so we had to schedule it out a bit, which was ok with me. They quoted me $295 via text message through HomeAdvisor. Then we got an unexpected early freeze here in Missouri, which made the situation a bit more urgent. I looked out at the pool system and it was frozen and I had some cracked PVC pipes near the pump. I contacted them and told them it was frozen and asked them if they could still close a pool when it was in that condition or do we have to wait. They told me they should still come out and look at it. I thought that was good customer service...little did I know that it was actually going to cost me extra! I had talked to them about also putting a new part on my hot tub and they said they would do it when they came out for the pool, and that it would only be the cost of the part, which he estimated over the phone to be $25-$30 dollars. I said great and was really happy about it. They didn't come out to look at my pool when they said they were coming. I had to contact them to verify if they were coming or not...they had me waiting around all day! They claimed they were too busy and had to reschedule. They rescheduled for another day in the afternoon. I called them in the morning to verify that they were coming that afternoon as planned because I had to go to work and couldn't wait around all day again. They showed up at my house about 1 hour later...about 5 hours early. Of course I was gone. They looked at the pool for a few minutes, determined exactly what I had already told them, that the pool was frozen and there were some cracks in the PVC pipes. They determined they could not close it because it was frozen. They also found they had brought the wrong part for the hot tub, so the trip was for nothing. Then they CHARGED ME $95 for the trip!! They claim it was a "service call" for the hot tub. But they had already planned to fix that for just the cost of the part. They claimed that because they had to come out again they charged me...and because I live far away from them (although they claim they service my area!) I paid the $95 on credit card (although shouldn't have). Then they had to come back when it thawed out to fix and close the pool. The weather warmed up and we scheduled them to come out on Friday. The guy showed up and everything was good...he did what needed to be done to close the pool, leaving the repairs for another time. He capped off the cracked pipes so we could get the lines blown and the pool covered. He was great by the way. BUT then they charged me $315 for the pool closing instead of $295! When I asked about the charge they claimed that the $295 quoted was just a base price, and because I live "far away" they charged more. Do they service my area or not? I hired them at a set price, then they overcharged me! They charged my credit card automatically by the way...don't give them a card number!! When I complained they started lying! They claimed that they told me the charge was going to be $315, but they never did. They claimed that actually had "audio recordings" of our conversation, and I told them to send them to me. WARNING: When a company has to start lying...and claiming they have "audio recordings" to justify their over charging you, RUN AWAY! They still hadn't fixed my hot tub, for which I have already paid $95. I asked them about that and they said they were going to charge me another $75 for coming back out again, plus approx $50 for the part! That would equal approx $220 for a job they told me was going to be under $40. I cancelled the hot tub part and requested a refund for the over charge for the pool. They refused. RUN AWAY. We have struggled with this company since May of 2021 when they initially came out to repair our pool when we opened and found a leak. The service was requested, the service gentleman came out and was very nice. He cut the PVC pipe from the pool line to the heater, and unfortunately did not have the correct part to replace it. He indicated at that time he would order it and it should be here in about a week or two. Long story short, and distributor issues a constant reason, it is now the end of November and we still are not repaired. Additionally, and most importantly, they NEVER return your call despite calling at least weekly. The last time we were notified was in October when Dennis said he did not know where "the distributor is at with ordering the part". The last call was made almost 5 days ago with 3 numbers provided for him to call me back at and still no return call. The customer service is horrendous. And if they respond "covid" it is a bogus excuse since I ordered the needed part myself in October and received it within a week. read more

On March 23, 2018 I bought a pool heater and salt water generator from this company and had it installed. The first problem I had was no information or walk through on how to operate anything. The second problem was the heater. It was almost 6 months after it was installed that we tried to use it. I made call after call, each one documented, trying to get someone to come look at it. I finally sought legal advise and only then did someone come to look at it. I made a mistake because I was recovering from a heart transplant and couldn't deal with this or the fact that the salt water generator wasn't working. Today I finally got someone on the phone and was told that even though it's under a 100% warranty that they want 95 dollars for 20 minutes to take the part out and sent it back. I can take the part out in less than 2 minutes, and when they come back for the 2 minutes to put the part back in, it's just a matter of unscrewing the cap and removing the cell, that return visit is 75 dollars. Also, the company that they got the parts from was sold and they didn't inform any of their warranty customers like me. Great company to move a spa, terrible company for any return work that affects anything bought through them. Do yourself a favor and use someone else or do it yourself. Discovered our spa water level was low when we went to treat it on Sunday. Decided to contact Two Men by email. Got a call first thing Monday morning and was on their calendar for Wednesday. Even though I didn't need to be home, I asked for Thursday so I could be there. I got a text Thursday morning to say they were on their way. Kevin tightened things up and assumed the problem was fixed. He patiently answered all my questions and told me to leave the side cover off so things could dry out. We waited three days and then turned things back on. He told me that if the pump trips the circuit that we would need a new pump. No problems so far. He was great! read more

Initially I really liked these guys. I purchased a used spa, they moved it and provided tons of advice for what to look for. I try to support local businesses and despite being able to purchase chemicals, filters and other items less expensively on the internet I purchased from TMSD. Where things went sour was my tub required a new control panel. I purchased one from TMSD. They required me to pay $650.00 in full before they ordered it which was fine they ordered the wrong one! I immediately returned it, along with 4 filters I purchased from them that were not needed because the tub had washable filters. They found another control panel that was used for $300.00, also great and I was still happy with them. That was September.... I kept looking for the refund for the difference. It didn't come. I called and left messages. I emailed. No response so I left more messages, and still nothing. Finally I spoke to Dennis in December!! He said he was waiting for his refund in order to refund me! He also said he didn't have time to keep calling about it because he was so busy handling all the orders from the pandemic! I told this was poor customer service and not what I wanted to hear. He's too busy making money to service a clients issue! Despite more messages he has never responded. Now I am stuck chasing after this dead beat for $350. At this point it's not the amount it's the principal. I loathe the idea of wasting more time taking him to small claims court since it wastes more of my time. He has lost the servicing of this tub, and the inevitable purchase of a new tub when this one expires. We used TMSD a few times to service our spa. Our spa is almost 10 years old so something has to be fixed every couple of years. They have done a good job replacing parts when they break, but they aren't very good at telling you what they did or why--you just get a bill. Last couple of times they've come out it was for small leaks. Some guy named Neal rushed through the job and left before the tub was fixed. He made up some stories that were pretty far from the truth and we ended up having to call them back. Another fix, another bill and another story from Neal--it's just gotten to be too much. Worst company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Will tell u everything is wrong with ur pool to the point you buy a NEW one including pump and filter. Then you will have to call at least 20x to get them out to install about 4 months later. They blame their mistakes on you, the customer (we were told they ordered the wrong liner size due to our wrong measurements; THEY measured) and they even told us we needed to go buy 20 bags of sand the day of install for them! They gave the reason they do not have a license to hook up the gas. They had turned it off. The heater leaks. They do not return phone calls until you indicate you are going to write a review. Bought a Calspa swimspa in March 8, 2020 was delivered in April 2, 2020. It broke within three weeks on April 19, 2020. Talked to Mandy April 22, 2020 and was told someone would contact me that day. Called numerous times until I called Calspa direct on April28,2020, June5 and June 9. Mandy finally called on June 9 after Calspa contacted them. Appointment for them to look at it was set for June 19 which we were told they immediately ordered a new touch screen pad. July2 called still no part. Called July6 and left a message to pick up swimspa. Called July 14 talked to Dave and he said problem with Balboa screens and he wishes we would ride it out. Told him no we would go back to a regular hot tub and he said call when we got back from vacation. They picked up the spa on August 7. Called numerous times and still no response. This is the WORST experience I have ever had. We paid these people to take down our pool and move it to our new home. They LOST several items, put us off on the date book numerous times and were horrible at communication. Then, after being told we would need a new liner (although ours was 8 months old), they got the pool up and it has a leak 1 day later!!! We have called several times with no response. Watson's dispatched TMSD to install our pool, which they did. Two weeks later it developed a problem as the sidewall popped out of the track and several of the supports began to buckle. I called TMSD and was asked to take photos and text them to the service manager. This I did and heard nothing for a week. I called again and was told that the SM would be in touch with me soon. this never happened. We went the whole summer without it getting fixed. In the fall we had a reason to contact Watson's about another issue and they got us a response from TMSD. At this time we were told to call back in the spring when it was time to open the pool and they would take care of this warranted repair, though they blamed us for the damage. This spring we dutifully called and were told the installers would be alerted. I called back a week later and got only the answering machine. We were in no mood to hold off filling the pool up all summer, so we proceeded to open it. Just as well, since we still haven't heard from TMSD some two and a half months later. I have some reservations about their installation abilities, but their customer service is absolutely the worst. Hopefully we won't need another pool any time soon, but if we did I would not buy it from Watson's unless they were using a different installer. read more
