Where asking a question feels like you're interrupting someone's day. So today, when I took my son to Ted's Hot Dogs. This is a place I've been going to since the 1900s (as my kids love to remind me ). I didn't expect much. Things had changed since my childhood days, but the food had always remained good! I just missed the days when the same guy worked the grill and knew my name and my order by heart. But then, today... There was Karen. Yes, Karen!! Standing over a grill in 117° Arizona heat, she greeted us with patience, kindness, and an actual smile. She let my son take his time ordering without making him feel rushed. And when the ketchup was empty, she didn't shrug it off or point us in another direction. She didn't hand me a thousand little packets since the pump was empty. She simply took care of it. Was it just ketchup? Sure. But it also wasn't. It was someone choosing to care. When other patrons had notified other staff multiple times it was out - Karen found a simple solution without excuses! These days... that feels rare. We've spent years turning the name "Karen" into a punchline. But today, I met the kind of Karen the world could use a whole lot more of. If you're her manager and you're reading this... take good care of her. Promote her. Clone her if science ever figures that out. We sat down and waited another 25 minutes until finally our buzzer beeped. We picked up our tray and noticed we were only given 5 hot dogs, not 6. We didn't mention anything just because we saw how busy it still was. The hot dogs were actually pretty good. They were a decent size and flavorful. We really liked the bacon fries and it was enough to share between us three. There was an employee keeping the tables clean and picking up trash - he was friendly. The Old Town hot dog was great, with the cheese and jalapeños working nicely together. Interestingly enough, they use the same buns for the sliders and the hot dog; the hot dog buns were just chained together, and it worked really well. I recently visited Two Hands, a restaurant specializing in Korean-style corn dogs. The service was notably friendly and helpful, and the restaurant maintained a clean atmosphere. The food is made fresh to order, which is always a plus. I tried both the spicy and potato corn dogs, along with the kimchi fries. While the corn dogs were decent, they didn't stand out as exceptional. I've enjoyed Korean corn dogs elsewhere, but these were merely average--fine but not memorable. The kimchi fries, unfortunately, were a letdown. They lacked the distinctive flavor I was expecting and tasted like plain French fries with no noticeable seasoning. With their limited, specialized menu, I was expecting better. Overall, while Two Hands has its strengths in service and cleanliness, the food fell short of expectations. read more

I recently visited Two Hands Corn Dogs and had a positive experience. The corn dogs were tasty, crispy on the outside with a nice balance of flavors, and very affordable--definitely a great option for a quick, satisfying snack. Unfortunately, the bubble tea didn't quite hit the spot for me, as it lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting. The tapioca was not that chewy, and the tea itself was not authentic, but you shouldn't be expecting amazing bubble tea from anywhere that isn't a bubble tea place. However, the service really stood out. The staff were incredibly helpful when I had trouble with a promo code, resolving the issue quickly and with a friendly attitude. It's a great place for corn dogs at a decent price! Ambiance is also cute and bright. read more

While the food at has always been reliably delicious, my recent visit left me somewhat disappointed. Unfortunately, I encountered a hair in my meal, likely due to the staff not having their hair properly secured. However, the team quickly remedied the situation by remaking my order, which I appreciated. Regrettably, on the second attempt, the order was completely wrong. It would have been nice to receive a complimentary item or gesture to compensate for the inconvenience and the subsequent mistake. Despite these hiccups, I remain a fan of the food and hope that the restaurant addresses these issues for future patrons' satisfaction. read more
