We also ordered Elote appetizer which was ok but overpriced in my opinion for $12-13 for corn and corn chips. Overall, the food was just okay and felt a bit pricey for what we got. Spent about $100 for lunch. The standout for us was definitely the al Pastor--it was flavorful and the one thing we'd actually come back for. Unfortunately, the ribeye was very disappointing. It was overcooked, and the heavy char made the steak taste more burnt and bitter than enjoyable. The Quesa Birria was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. All in all, it was an average experience with one solid highlight, but not somewhere we'd rush back to except maybe for the al Pastor tacos.

It was a bit WTF. But I pushed and made small talk and jokes and next thing you know they are friendly with us and I even got the lady to switch one of the television to a Toronto Argonauts CFL game! My husband especially loves their pork belly and every Food Truck Thursday, pork belly is his go-to meal. The pork belly is slow cooked for 15 hours then deep fried to perfection. It comes with a side of rice and pickled vegetables. I really like their lumpia which is similar to a spring roll but filled with delicious pork. So good! We've also tried their bola bola, which is like a meatball on a steamed bun. Overall, they are a great addition to the local Food Trucks and one we frequent often. Definitely check them out!

This food truck was stationed outside my climbing gym yesterday. My friend who joined me to climb…read morewas hungry, so we gave this place a try. For $16, you get four mixed empanadas of your choice. That's a good deal, I think. But, the empanadas were on the smaller side. The owner was very friendly and informative and let us know these empanadas are made in the Columbian style. She also mentioned she lived in Mexico for many years and learned to make empanadas the Mexican way and combined some of those flavors also. The empanadas I had were all very tasty and I liked the salsa verde that came with the empanadas. I had the traditional (had a kick to it) and arroz con pollo. I gave Sherpa the calentado and chorizo ones, but no report back if they were good lol. My only gripe here is that the empanadas were a little more greasy than I usually like. On their website and in photos, they say their empanadas are air fried, but I think I recall seeing oil fryers outdoors yesterday. I try to keep fried foods to a limit as I don't always feel great after eating a greasy meal. And I have to maintain a svelte physique, just kidding there. Diabetes and heart disease run in my family, so I am very mindful of what I put into my temple. I also ate these after climbing as there is no way I could have had these empanadas in my stomach prior. Also interesting is that the vegetarian and vegan ones were kind of food color green. I guess you need to be able to differentiate them, but the color was off-putting. I'd give this place another try but would prefer baked empanadas. I love empanadas, just please hold the grease.

The flavor combination is perfect just the way it was intended. Believe them. No chicken was available and their fryer was broken, so only the grilled options were available, chips were substituted instead of fries. The menu pricing is for 2 sliders + fries @ $9 or 3 sliders + fries @$12. What I got was a single sandwich and a bag of chips, but was still charged $9. Kind of felt like I didn't get my money's worth. I ended up with the Baby Bello - grilled baby Portobello, cheddar, fried onion strings and bbq sauce. It was delicious and I think it somehow still had the fried onion strings on it even though their fryer was down. Overall, I'm sure it was healthier than what I was planning to order anyway. Also, the other food trucks that come by here always bring pop up tents for people to seek shade under while waiting for their food, and Electric Sliders should consider doing the same.
