Absolutely disappointed and irritated with their service!!!! We called ahead to see if there was a way to reserve a table and were not told about the yelp waiting list reserve. I had a group of 5 and we arrived at 5:15 pm. I am writing this review upon my arrival at hone now at 10:26pm there is nooo reason in hell why we had to wait nearly 3.5 HOURSSSSS to be seated on top of an additional 35 minutes while waiting at the table. I will never return to this poorly ran establishment ever again. The "manager" (or so she claimed she was) was not even helping the staff doing the bare minimum and smiling as if this was normal....I am not alone in this feeling as I witnessed multiple place complaints to her and she provided the same weak explanation and not helpful at all. When I asked how long is the wait as we were in the "2nd" place she tried to explain that the kitchen was backed up with to go orders when there is an overflow at the actual restaurant! I'm not one to tell others how to run their mf business but have 2 kitchen lines one running to go orders and the other in house orders, orrr strictly reservation only bc this will not be tolerated. I promise I'm not exaggerating. Ohhhhh and the best part as we were waiting these 4 hours total there was a consistent 11 tables cleared and opened!!!!! Please make that make sense, make it make sense y'all!! like how is this still operating and open is the real question?!? The waitress we had was great but there needs to be some reorganization ASAP from the top bottom. Truly annoyed. Went there Saturday to try it out. The wait was long. Couldn't understand that because they had empty tables. Order the shrimp and black mussels. Ordered garlic and butter seasoning. The sauce that they used was so salty I had to send it back. The second bag was the same. I said no seasoning and I guess everything is steamed in the same salty seasoning. The food should be seasoned to the customer's taste. Not, salty for everyone. That seasoning will make your blood rise. Drink plenty of water when you go. read more

Went for the soft opening and enjoyed my combo platter of shrimp, snow crabs and dungeness crabs. Aside from the soda being flat I enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back to try one of the fried platters and lunch specials. I'll update my review after my next visit. read more

So we waited a hour for our party to be seated. What ever, we get seated drinks took forever. They were neglecting all the patrons dining in for their to go orders. We waited over an hour for food. Shrimp was over cooked and honestly we didn't get the right portions. We had two diabetics at the table who were gonna crash cause their sugar was dropping. They have to take meds atleast 30 mins before meals. They were gonna get sick. Plus two small children who got their meals last. I had been a wanting to try Two Claws for awhile now. I finally got a chance to try the food that everyone I know has been talking about. When I got my food I was highly disappointed. If portion control had been mentioned to me prior to ordering I definitely would have thought twice. I paid $24 dollars to create my own combo. I literally got 1 crab claw, a handful of shrimp, 1 ear of corn, 1 baby red potato. I get it seafood is expensive but Ive gotten more for less at other seafood restaurants. Since February a surprise dinner party planned for my cousin. Between February (ending) thru March 10 four phone calls have been made to complete/confirm reservations. Each time someone called staff kept saying they had no knowledge of the reservation or the name it was under. Again the name and number was given. The day before March 10th I called to confirm the reservation for 23people. I spoke to one of the staff and he told me the name I was saying they have no reservation. I explained to him that this very unacceptable because someone had called 1 week prior. The staff took the name down and the phone number, number of people and the time we were coming. I live all the way in south Jersey which is an easy 1.5hrs away from this establishment. I showed up early to the restaurant to check in. I was told by the hostess that they had no reservation down for the name given. I told the hostess who I spoke to the day before. The hostess went in the kitchen I guess to ask the person and 2 guys came out and peaked around the corner then with her then went back in. Shortly after the manager came out. The manager stated that he wasn't aware of any reservation for today. I explained to the manager that this was highly unacceptable because 3 times previously staff has stated they couldn't find the reservation in the earlier weeks. Unfortunately the tables were all booked and it would be a long wait. The manager said because of their error the restaurant would take 10% off the bill definitely not acceptable. Our reservation party eventually left 15mins and went to another establishment which we were seated In 5mins of entering. While waiting one of the ladies that had put the reservation in at 2 claws they called her back. Mind you according to them there was no reservation. The staff on the phone told her that if we wanted to come back we could but we wouldn't be seated together and they only had room for 20 people. So where was the 3 people in our party going to sit? Most of our party lives out of the area and traveled to Delaware to celebrate a loved ones birthday. No one in our party will ever recommend here to eat. Communication is horrible I still don't understand how they kept loosing our reservation!!!! I would really like for someone in the establishment to please tell me how does that happen. read more

Best Seafood in Delaware, if you have a palette for seafood, I strongly recommend Two Claws.

Took my wife we waited for over an hour to be seated and to no availability when not seated, we left. Being that it was a week end we chucked it up as just a very busy night... My wife loves seafood and I decided to make a reservation for her birthday to try to avoid the wait and was told they take reservations for large parties only... soo disappointing... while speaking with the restaurant... the individual I was speaking with hung up on me while I was still speaking with her without answering my questions... such poor customer service. read more

Long message alert........Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted promptly and seated. The young lady told us that our waitress would be with us shortly and she was there rather quickly. The waitress asked us what we'd like to drink, but never once mentioned the full bar that we could have ordered drinks from, ( we only noticed it on the way out of the restaurant)she only directed us to the soft drinks on the menu. We proceeded to ask about the menu items and she was clueless as to what we were asking about(it was a flavoring for the wings and another menu item). I asked her if we could try the wing sauce before we committed to ordering that flavor so we wouldn't have to send them back if we didn't like it and she did bring us some sauce. We liked what she brought us to try and proceeded with ordering the wings. Upon arrival, the wings had a dry seasoning on them and not the wet sauce we had tried...We didn't send them back(he doesn't like to cause a fuss) because the dry seasoning on them was actually pretty good, simply just not what we thought we were getting. We proceeded to order our entrees and we got the create your own steam pot which arrived rather quickly but we were told that our other meal (fried whiting) would be another few minutes. Well, I noticed that another waitress was bringing fried whiting to a table that was seated and ordered after us. Hmmm...So, about ten minutes later, the whiting dinner came to our table but I had already started digging in to the steam pot. No big deal, we took it to go. The final issue was that on my bank statement, the transaction for this establishment came up as Poke Brothers. I almost suspected fraudulent activity on my account because I'd never eat there. I did however put two and two together and figured that the charge had to be Two Claws. To sum it all up, this is a new establishment. You're in business to make money. Your waitresses should be advertising that you have a full bar and adult drinks are available. Secondly, the waitresses should know the products on the menu that they are selling and if not (they really should know though) they should ask and properly inform the customer. Lastly, inform the customer that the charges may show as another business. I truly could have disputed this charge and had it taken off due to the lack of knowledge that it wasn't going to show as the establishment I ate at. I will say that everything we ordered (and didn't lol) was delicious. I wrote this review because I know that poor service can make or break a business and this place has potential. We're definitely gonna go back and try some other menu items. Hopefully the things I mentioned above will be worked on. read more

Best seafood I've tasted in a long, long time. Way better than Red Lobster, plus it's right down the street. Book bags are to die for. Don't know who the cook is but he's the best. Staff very friendly. Need more of a mixed drink selection. read more

Food was good and plentiful and spicy. We had the sausage, clams and crawfish. Served a in a boil bag with corn and potatoes and the heat you request of the spices. The drink we had was a ginger snap and tasted nice. Stay away from any water that isn't bottled the seltzer was horrible. read more

Tried this place on their soft opening. I wasn't impressed. Thought I'd give them another try, once they were up and running. Ordered one of the seafood boil bags. Sausage, potatoes, corn, snow crabs legs and shrimp were included. First mistake I did was letting the waitress talk me into one of their boil bag seasonings. It was doable at best. Should of just stuck with my old bay and garlic butter. The sausage was way to salty. The crab legs were too greasy and oily from the seasoning. And the shrimp although they were a decent size. Were either mushy or stuck to their shells. I didn't know you could mess up shrimp and crab legs. Especially if that's what you specialize in. A seafood place who can't cook seafood correctly. As much as they charge. We sent the shrimp back and kept everything else. In hopes they could get the second batch out without the seasoning and shells that would come OFF. WRONG again. The manager told us the reason the were like that was because they were out of season. ‍ What. These aren't strawberries lady. What do you mean out of season. At this point I was ready to go. I was told this is a very good restaurant...WRONG!! First the service was horrible!! There were literally 5 people behind the front desk and no and I mean no one greeted folks as they came in...it was utter chaos from the onset. The young lady that took my order barely opened her mouth when she spoke to me....apparently others had complaints because several folks were lined up to speak with a manager to complain about something. Then when I got my meal home my shrimp was mushy...as much as I paid for my meal it should have been perfect! I've eaten a lot of seafood from various restaurants from around the world and by far this is one of the worst!! I was going to take my family from Philly there when they came to visit next week...that wont be happening. If I could give them less than 1 star I would so so in a heartbeat.
