Ordered Bull and Bear Calzone for lunch today after church with son and other church members. Awesome tasting with high quality ingredients. Calzone consists of pepperoni,sausage,bacon, ham and mozzarella cheese. Two dipping sauce also accompany calzone. Best calzone in Gwinnett County. Not a huge fan of white sauce pizza but this place is amazing. I've tried many things on the menu and my favorite thing to order is their Thyme Square pizza and their Hot Honey flavored wings. The only reason this saves this review from a one star is that it warms up well in the air fryer. I ordered a make it your way calizone with sausage , pepperoni, olives, feta , mushroom. The outside was too doughy. That's why I said it was better after I put it in the air fryer. read more

First visit, and I must admit that this was the best deep dish pizza I've had anywhere! I grew up near the Chicago area and I've had a lot of good pie, but this one was truly outstanding. The crust was crisp yet buttery and full of flavor, the tomato sauce was fresh tasting, and the toppings and cheese were fantastic. I love the fact that you can order a 9 inch size pizza, so, although it's definitely enough pizza for two people, you can order a whole pizza for yourself in case the people you're with don't want deep dish (I ate half and brought the other half home). My wife, who does not like deep dish pizza, ordered her own individual-sized, New York style pizza. She liked it, but to me it didn't look good at all, at least nothing like any New York style pizza I've seen anywhere. They have a full bar with a solid draft beer offering. Service was good. They have indoor and patio dining on the first floor with a second floor outdoor lounge area with its own bar. Bathrooms are decorated very cool with subway motif along with sounds from the station. My wife and I stopped in Tuesday night and had our usual. We started off with the Mainstreet Meatballs which were delicious with the ricotta cheese. My wife loves the Capone and I get the Bull and Bear calzone. Now hear me out, 2 Cities has a house made ranch and it is good on anything, even pizza and calzones. First, Erin our smiling waitress did a great job tonight. The service was prompt and friendly from the hostess to the food expeditor. I had the 9" Stockyard pizza and added banana pepper, it tasted great. She had the 9" Miss Brooklyn and loved it. We shared a chessecake. All food was tasty and cooked well. The restroom decor is that of a subway train complete with announcements and the womens room was a subway train door to enter. Nicely done! Onto why only three stars. The metal lattice and woodwork between the booths is covered in dust and cobwebs as are the exposed giant light bulbs. It is as if the place has not been cleaned since our last visit. Since this is a public facing area, it makes me wonder about areas I do not see as a customer. I mentioned this to Erin and she said she would let the manager know. My wife and I went to dinner on Saturday and the place was fairly packed.We were seated at 6 and the attendant took our drink and appetizer order. Every thing was going well then our attendant disappeared. We waited almost 45 minutes for a refill then waited 1 hour for our two pizzas. The attendant apologized and stated that there was an error in the kitchen and another attendant took our food. They stated they would adjust the bill in the end. Instead when the bill came they gave us some free doughnuts and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer but no adjustments to the bill. Not even a manger came by to apologize. I went and got my mom and I lunch from Two Cities. I heard good things about this place from a few friends so I decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed. We both go New York specialty pizzas. I chose the Gotham Gangster which came with chicken, bacon, red onions, cheddar, scallions, mozzarella, bbq sauce drizzle and white sauce drizzle. They forgot to put the white sauce but it was still really good nonetheless. I would definitely go back for this pizza. Let's start with the good: The decor at Two Cities is absolutely amazing. Drawing inspiration from the Big Apple and the Windy City, Two Cities has gone all out to make you feel as if you're in these cities (even the bathrooms make you feel like your in the subway! It even smells like the subway in there). The service was good, our server would come check on us pretty often and had good understanding of the menu and was able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Unfortunately the area where Two Cities lacked is the most important part - the food. The menu has an assortment of NY style and Chicago style deep dish pizzas, but neither felt authentic (or even like imitations). BEST pizza in Georgia hands down. Ingredients taste fresh and fantastic. Having lived in Chicago lemme tell you, I LOVE their take on Chicago pizza. It's lighter but its still deep dish. The Wrigley Pie is our go to favorite (oopsies I forgot to take a picture because we're always too quick to dive in). We have tried to give the other flavors a chance which those we have tried were good but the Wrigley Pie had already won our hearts. Pickup service has always been consistently good and fast! Currently sitting at my table and so unbelievably annoyed I can't even express the level. The sound in the restaurant is a quick paced movie. The movie is not playing. It is just an annoying overture that is too loud. Server did fine. Food was good. Host(ess) left EVERYTHING to be desired. Manager Adrian did check in and was all smiles and kindness. We ordered the 9inch Chicago style pizza called the Capone and it was just enough for 2, the pizza was really good stuffed with meat and cheese with sauce on top. -Yummy! The place is really nice, good lighting with an outdoor deck seating area. They have wine and beer on the menu, I was a little disappointed not to see regular bone in wings on the menu, but the do have boneless. The service was a little slow the night we visited, but the food made up for it and we are sure to return soon. read more

What a pleasant surprise. I've been in the area 14 years and am just finding this place. My favorite pizza I've ever had is the deep dish at Lou Malnati's in Chicago. I go out of my way to go there. The "Windy City" Chicago style pizza here is just as good! It really blew me away. The salads were good and the bacon, jalapeño bootleg bread is great! My wife really liked the meatballs as well. Two Cities 100% delivers when it comes to the atmosphere! You immediately get New York and Chicago as soon as you step in. It makes for a fun and engaging time. The bathroom is like a subway station that's taking you to the last stop! It's equipped with cups and mouthwash and is such a fun experience. They also have a rooftop that's fun to go up to as well! The deep dish pizzas are delicious! I haven't tried the new style but I'm sure it's just as good as well. The only thing I would say is that the alcoholic drinks were not as up to par. This place is such a disappointment. Last night, a Saturday night, was my 3rd trip. I didn't review the first two, giving them the benefit of the doubt for being new. Here was my experience last night at 7 pm. Parking was a mess, the lot was full so we parked in a office park behind the place. When we walked in about 10 people were outside waiting for a table. I walked up to the hostess and she did not greet me. No "Welcome, how many in your party"? I asked for a table for 2, gave her my number and asked how long the wait will be and she said 25-30 minutes. We walked to the bar where every seat was taken, One bartender working and I stood there for 12 minutes trying to order a drink. For 9 of those 12 minutes he was on the Point of Sale system. Not sure if didn't know how to use it or if it was not working properly. What was crazy is that 1/3 of the tables were empty and half of those were needing to be bussed. Must be a staffing issue. This area sure could use a good pizza place run professionally. read more

Circumstances were very different from last time since I came on a weekday night, before the peak dinner time, and also ordered the 16-inch instead of the 12-inch this time. I can't confidently say things have gotten better since it was a different situation, but I will say that my experience was better this time around. I was craving the Cabbie, so taste-wise, they've got it down for me. Tried the Gotham Gangster and loved it despite not being the biggest bbq sauce fan. Still think they skimp out on the cheese, even for the 16-inch, so i recommend asking them for more on there when you order it. Wasn't able to experience the rooftop again, so we'll have to try it next time! read more

Best New York pizza place. However, I do wish that they bring back the fresh spinach as one of the toppings. It used to be, but they updated to canned (??) spinach and it was pretty nasty. Their parmesan fries are great if you eat there. Probably best fries I ever had. However, when it's being delivered, it's hit or miss. You can get the great fries or get the soggy bunch. read more

It is good, to even great. I have not bothered with their NY style pizza, but their Chicago style crust is spot on. The pie is perhaps not as filled to the brim and high like real Chicago pie, but then again I don't know if most people in Atlanta would get that style. The crust, sauce and cheese are just about dead on. Aside from being a maybe a little less stuffed than up North, I would say the only other difference is that instead of clumps of sausage deep within the pie, they used thin slices on top. That said the sausage they use, as well as the pepperoni and ham seem to be of very good quality. Thus I can't really knock. I am buying a third residence in Chicago next week (small highrise studio on Michigan Ave), so I am frequently at stalwarts like Lou Malnati's, Uno/Duo, and Pequod's. Giordano's simply has too much cheese for my taste. Two cities is a very taste product I enjoy basically just as much as these classics. What really pushed this up to 5 stars was their great beer selection, solid service (Cam and Nikki were impressive bartenders), lots of TVs for sports (that is not cheap), the extensive buildout of the roof they extended, Mouthwash in the very clean restrooms, and finally their red chili flakes were actually very much impressively hot. The 2 front hostesses were too busy having their own conversation & didn't give anyone the time of day coming or going (8:30 pm on 4/16/22 if the manager cares). I found my own party & they never told anyone, Thanks for coming, have a nice evening... children playing & getting paid for it! Our server was good & attentive, but servers around us seemed oblivious. Funny to watch, but sad that this is the time we live in. Apologies for seeming rude, but geez. Anyway, a FUN ATMOSPHERE? Awesome food and atmosphere. However, our hostess (Hannah or Anna), seemed annoyed by our arrival and our request to be seated upstairs. She did not offer to find a table for us and rudely handed us menus and told us we "could go check it out". The place was not busy. It was an hour before closing time. We don't mind seating ourselves, but would expect to be asked to do so in a courteous manner. When we asked her where the stairs were she said "over there" rolled her eyes and turned to continue her conversation with another employee.
