My personal favorite. Beautiful NY style pizza, Italian food, and even some Salvadoran options. This place, for as long as I can remember, has stuck out to me for its distinct style and flavor (which may not appeal to all... these are some loaded slices). Even their horchata is uniquely creamy and sweet. If the pizza isn't for you, try their cheesesteak. So fortunate Pizza Man is in Gwinnett because it's easily the best pizza in GA. read more

When I think of NY pizza, I think of large slices with crispy crust, this pizza crust was too soggy to my liking. We ordered about $70 worth of items but I would high light if you offer garlic in a pizza it should be fresh chop garlic not garlic out of a jar thrown on top. We also ordered cannolis, which was definitely disrespectful. Our cannolis was very soggy as if they were sitting for too long. This is not a New York pizza by far. The sauce and cheese taste like they weren't meant to be together. My toddler ate the pepperoni off of one slice and couldn't continue. We plan to throw it into the oven tomorrow and take the entire pizza to a homeless person. There is no small size pizza, I would have been less disappointed if I had a smaller pie option. Was Looking for a slice and came across this on my way home. The service was average and price was good. Food arrived fast was a single slice of sausage and a pepperoni roll. Price with bottled water was under 10 dollars and Mariana sauce for roll was very hot in temp. Again the issue was the roll and the slice both were drastically undercooked . Other people in the establishment appeared to be enjoying and taking to go and even two guys seemed to be very much regulars . This spot is good!!! I had 2 slices of pizza: one veggie and one spinach, mushroom and garlic. They're huge!!! The veggies on both slices were definitely fresh. Knocking off one star because I did ask for the slices to be cooked well done (I like a crisper crust) to which I was assured they would be - they weren't. I had to crisp them up a bit at home. I don't know why I haven't visited this place more often. I pass it nearly everyday. I've been a couple of times and typically I order the individual pizza. Very nice size and delicious. The last visit I went I had a taste for pasta. I saw they had lasagna and the price and amount you receive is a steak. OMG! I have passed this place a gazillion times. Once again yelp saved the day! I looked up some of my fellow yelp buddies favorites near by and came up with PIZZA MAN.... I ordered the lunch special 2 arm length slices of cheese pizza add a topping for extra 40cents. I added 2 toppings a slice. The 2 slice lunch includes a fountain drink. The crust (YUM) is thin chewy, slightly crispy very tasty to me. Perfect lunch deal. I could barely eat 1 slice. I Will have to try the salads and other menu choices. Full disclosure, this review is like 2 weeks late, but the pizza crossed my mind, so I felt compelled. My friend and our two teens went to this pizza place after seeing Marvel's Avenger (freaking epic!). It was getting late, and we didn't want to go too far from our respective paths (I back to EATL and she to Roswell). With this in mind, we checked our trusty apps and decided to try this place. Much of what's around this spot is closed at night, so you can easily miss it, like we almost did. I thought my fellow Yelpers had let me down hard, and was preparing to pay for everyone's dinner (some place else) to make up for it. My friend was the one who said, let's give it a try. Just as we were about to walk into this empty place, another woman drove up. I couldn't help it, I asked this total stranger if she eaten there before? She affirmed, "Oh yes." Then I asked, if it was good. Smiling and nodding, she then said "Oh yeah! I come here all the time. Tried just about everything." So we leaped and ordered a medium cheese for the kids (they so plain) and a delux for ourselves (but we're not). First of all, this a no frills spot. You gonna get paper plates and plastic forks, so get your mind right. Second, I felt like someone sent out the come get your munchies memo, cause by the time we got our pizzas, which was within 15 or mins, there was a steady flow of people coming in and out. Oh and as for the pizza, it was da domb! But you have to know and like N.Y. style pizza, which I do and do. I lived in N.Y. and understabd what it is and could be like. The kids pizza was fairly perfect in look, texture and flavor. Ours could have baked like 1-2 more mins in the middle, but only to absorb the moisture and it may have burned the edges in the process. Also, there was nothing undercooked and the flavor was still really good. It just spoke to how fresh the ingredients were. It was also killer to see someone throw and handle pizza dough again like an OG from one of the Borough's. So if the pizza is great, why the 4 instead of the 5 stars. The guy at the cash register lacked the ability to engage with people. It was more weird than rude, and in the end ignorable. If I am in the area again, I would certainly give this one another go. We ordered three 16" pizza's Chicken Bacon Ranch, Supreme, and Pepperoni Extra Cheese with Mushrooms. These pizza's were incredible, they tasted as good as they looked. The big slices were perfect for our family gathering of 14 people. I read the negative reviews, but they seemed like they were more tuned to the slices. These pies were awesome! Only problem we had was with the delivery guy that obviously let the pepperoni extra cheese slide as all the toppings cheese, pepperoni, and mushrooms had slid to one side. That didn't stop our crew, from eating the half with all the toppings. We will definitely be ordering from them again, but will probably go out and pick the pies up ourselves. read more

My husband was skeptical and wanted our usual favorite spot. Call me crazy, but I believed in Pizza Man. Even negative reviews with the "photo evidence" of poor pizza...still looked pretty delicious to me. And, I will tell you, the PM did not disappoint. He easily won over my husband and our pizza crazed toddler. We're jazzed to have a new small biz pizza joint in the area. Now hubby is excited to return to try the calzone. I'm no judge of what does and does not make an authentic "NY Style" pie and I'm not touching that argument. But for lunch, I can confidently state that Pizza Man does make a nice slice. I purchased the $4 slice/salad/drink lunch special based on prior reviews and left full and happy. Great value, good crust, fresh ingredients, and a reasonable side salad. I tried the pepperoni/meatball slice. Nice crunch to the crust, sauce was good, cheese was melty, pepperoni was good and greasy. The meatballs were not as good as Uncle Vito's, but good enough - a little like a very firm meatloaf in taste and texture. I think all the toppings here are fresh, not pre-packaged. The salad is iceburg, which is always depressing and gets me jonesing for a spinach and greens version; but I perked up again when I saw that the mushrooms and cheese are fresh and the dressing is Ken's brand. It was worth the $2 ( the a la carte price); I would have paid an additional $2 for a bigger, greener one. (And I might do that next time - I think instead of the "side" salad perhaps the "house" salad is what I'm looking for, and I'll have to try that next time.) My overall take was that Pizza Man is a reasonable substitute for Filini's, especially since the nearest Filini's is 14 miles away. The ingredients and food presentation are similar (although for atmosphere Filini's has a much cooler vibe). Pizza Man has been around awhile, and is a solid choice. read more

You can definitely consider me a raving fan for this place! I'm from NY and I loooooooove NY style pizza. There's nothing like grabbing a slice of hot, cheesy, pizza with pepperoni and folding it and half so you can take a huge bite. When I first moved to Atlanta 7 years ago, I was fortunate enough to move into an apartment next door to this heavenly pizza spot. Ever since, I always recommend their pizza everywhere I go! I now live on the east side of Atlanta but I still take the 25 minute drive out to Norcross just so I can partake In the cheesy goodness. If you like NY style pizza I strongly recommend this place. So wifey is out gallivanting about in the metro area with some of her friends and I'm out looking for a decent pizza place to replace another pizza place I frequent that just isn't cuttin' it anymore. I've had Pizza Man in Norcross bookmarked in Yelp for months so I decided, "Tonight is Pizza Man pizza night." For pizza joints, I have a rule -- if there's a bar and I can sit and have a slice and beer, I'll stay and just order a couple slices. If there's no bar, I get a whole pizza to go and I'll share leftovers with whomever is lucky enough to get them (usually wifey). I don't like sitting at a table by myself in a restaurant but will sit at the bar and converse with the bartender if there's one there. Pizza Man does not have a bar and I'm pretty sure they have no beer license. Anyway... I ordered a medium pepperoni and mushroom and it came out quickly. It was very large and about $15 -- a good deal, in my opinion. It was still very hot when I got it home and the taste was excellent. Good sauce and toppings. Not greasy (which is what killed it for the other pizza place). The slices are New York style -- they're easily the equivalent of two "normal" slices so instead of getting 12 skinny slices, you get six. NOTE TO SELF: This does not mean you can eat the same number of slices you normally eat! Leftovers were very good although the thin crust at the tip of the slice did not really hold up well in the microwave -- shoulda just eaten it cold. Cold pizza is awesome!
