Pizza man is a cheap fast eat. But you get what you pay for. They have a $7, 2 slice pizza or 1 slice and 1 salad pizza slice special for lunch. So the team decided to try it. The place is a little run down and the service is okay. The ambiance is just a quick eat in a whole in the wall. Would I try it again? Maybe if I only had $7 in my pocket

This is not a New York pizza by far. The sauce and cheese taste like they weren't meant to be together. My toddler ate the pepperoni off of one slice and couldn't continue. We plan to throw it into the oven tomorrow and take the entire pizza to a homeless person. There is no small size pizza, I would have been less disappointed if I had a smaller pie option. It's either by the slice for almost 4 dollars each or get a medium for 18 dollars. I think little ceasars is a better deal. I could say more but I won't.

ordered a medium pizza. The cheese is falling off the pizza and when I called. They said "nobody else complained today" I don't care what anyone else complained or didn't complain about. I'll NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN.

This place is nice. The food is excellent and the portions are always quite generous! Seating and space are rather limited, but whatever. Their pizza really is some of the best in the Atlanta area.

This has got to be the best pizza I have had in my entire 52 years on this planet. My wife ordered the stuffed pizza and 1 slice was all I could eat, but I wanted to eat 3 more. It has just the right amount of sauce and perfect portions of toppings. We will definitely order from this place on our next trip through.

OMG! I have passed this place a gazillion times. Once again yelp saved the day! I looked up some of my fellow yelp buddies favorites near by and came up with PIZZA MAN.... I ordered the lunch special 2 arm length slices of cheese pizza add a topping for extra 40cents. I added 2 toppings a slice. The 2 slice lunch includes a fountain drink. The crust (YUM) is thin chewy, slightly crispy very tasty to me. Perfect lunch deal. I could barely eat 1 slice. I Will have to try the salads and other menu choices. Whenever I just want a slice of pizza I will head to pizza man.

Full disclosure, this review is like 2 weeks late, but the pizza crossed my mind, so I felt compelled. My friend and our two teens went to this pizza place after seeing Marvel's Avenger (freaking epic!). It was getting late, and we didn't want to go too far from our respective paths (I back to EATL and she to Roswell). With this in mind, we checked our trusty apps and decided to try this place. Much of what's around this spot is closed at night, so you can easily miss it, like we almost did. I must admit, my first thought was, "You know, it's been a while since I've had a 1/4 pounder and there's a McD's up the street." I thought my fellow Yelpers had let me down hard, and was preparing to pay for everyone's dinner (some place else) to make up for it. My friend was the one who said, let's give it a try. Just as we were about to walk into this empty place, another woman drove up. I couldn't help it, I asked this total stranger if she eaten there before? She affirmed, "Oh yes." Then I asked, if it was good. Smiling and nodding, she then said "Oh yeah! I come here all the time. Tried just about everything." So we leaped and ordered a medium cheese for the kids (they so plain) and a delux for ourselves (but we're not). First of all, this a no frills spot. You gonna get paper plates and plastic forks, so get your mind right. Second, I felt like someone sent out the come get your munchies memo, cause by the time we got our pizzas, which was within 15 or mins, there was a steady flow of people coming in and out. Oh and as for the pizza, it was da domb! But you have to know and like N.Y. style pizza, which I do and do. I lived in N.Y. and understabd what it is and could be like. The kids pizza was fairly perfect in look, texture and flavor. Ours could have baked like 1-2 more mins in the middle, but only to absorb the moisture and it may have burned the edges in the process. Also, there was nothing undercooked and the flavor was still really good. It just spoke to how fresh the ingredients were. It was also killer to see someone throw and handle pizza dough again like an OG from one of the Borough's. So if the pizza is great, why the 4 instead of the 5 stars. The guy at the cash register lacked the ability to engage with people. It was more weird than rude, and in the end ignorable. If I am in the area again, I would certainly give this one another go. The calzones looked killer and it's been a while since I've had a really goon one.

So wifey is out gallivanting about in the metro area with some of her friends and I'm out looking for a decent pizza place to replace another pizza place I frequent that just isn't cuttin' it anymore. I've had Pizza Man in Norcross bookmarked in Yelp for months so I decided, "Tonight is Pizza Man pizza night." For pizza joints, I have a rule -- if there's a bar and I can sit and have a slice and beer, I'll stay and just order a couple slices. If there's no bar, I get a whole pizza to go and I'll share leftovers with whomever is lucky enough to get them (usually wifey). I don't like sitting at a table by myself in a restaurant but will sit at the bar and converse with the bartender if there's one there. Pizza Man does not have a bar and I'm pretty sure they have no beer license. Anyway... I ordered a medium pepperoni and mushroom and it came out quickly. It was very large and about $15 -- a good deal, in my opinion. It was still very hot when I got it home and the taste was excellent. Good sauce and toppings. Not greasy (which is what killed it for the other pizza place). The slices are New York style -- they're easily the equivalent of two "normal" slices so instead of getting 12 skinny slices, you get six. NOTE TO SELF: This does not mean you can eat the same number of slices you normally eat! Leftovers were very good although the thin crust at the tip of the slice did not really hold up well in the microwave -- shoulda just eaten it cold. Cold pizza is awesome! I'll definitely be back for more and may even let wifey in on the new "secret" pizza place. read more

Food - Pretty good! I love the wings and the lasagna here. If you're like me and you like for the top layer of the cheese to have the toasted bubbles or to be a bit more golden, you may want to let them know. Either way, it's good and really robust. Atmosphere- Small, a bit old/dim. Like I normally say though..those hole-in-the-wall places are usually the best! Service - No issues Price - Fair. The whole pie prices can be pricey, but not when you take into account the size of the pizza since it's NY Style. You can also get a large slice for about 2.50. Fair prices on most things. Overall: It's good stuff! read more

I usually enjoy this spot today I Dont know who is in the kitchen. I ordered garlic parmesan wings and 2 slices of mushroom garlic spinach pizza. I had no Parmesan on my wings it's just swimming in whatever juice is in the container. Also my pizza was made wrong and poorly remade without me knowing they messed up. They made a cheese pizza and then tried to sprinkle the ingredients on after they noticed they have messed up. I'm very disappointed in this purchase. read more

I tell you what, I recently got back from NYC, and was reeeallly hesitant to find a NY style pizza because it seems that all we did in Manhattan was go to pizza joints that were just delicious and showed me what NY Style pizza is. So, with that in mind and fresh off my trip, decided to reaally google all the places that claimed they had the style of pizza available. After extensive research, came across this place, so decided to give it a shot since it was highly rated and close enough. Ordered a large cheese and took it home. Man, this thing was on point in comparison to what I had the previous week in NY; thin, flavorful and just right. Only thing we added was garlic and it was perfect then. So overall, absolutely recommend this place and we will be back reaaally soon. Cheers read more

The food here is delicious and made to order... I ordered the ham calzone with three toppings added. It was so good and very filling... I would recommend this spot if you like freshly cooked food that's priced right... yummy... about to eat the rest of my calzone..... toodles.. read more

Love this place! So close to the house and so convenient. Where else can you get personalized big New York style slices for not that much money!?! I continue to choose Pizza Man over the commercial highly marketed pizza places because it tastes better you can eat in and watch your pizza be made. They have sandwiches, pastas, huge pizzas, slices, fries. Everyone in the family will be happy. My favorite is the veggie slices. The veggies on the slice are ALWAYS fresh. Fresh broccoli, green peppers, tomatoes and onions and not overwhelming sauce. I was hesitant at first but I'm so glad I chose pizza man because now I'm hooked. read more

I love their pizza!! I mean, LOVE their pizza. They fill a bad day will sunshine and rainbows!! -They sell by the slice. One slice of supreme is very filling, but my usual is two slices of cheese. -I rarely dine in, but their rapid service gets me in and out in a jiffy. Of course everyone has their own preference when it comes to pizza, but Pizza Man really does make my day when I get a chance to stop by. Doesn't help that I crave it all. The. I called and ordered a slice of sausage pizza. Once I got there I paid and the lady informed me that it would be about 4 mins (no big deal) soon as I sat down the older man (cook) had my pizza in hand..so okay, I took it and left...once I got to my car I took a bite and noticed the pizza was an old cheese pizza with the sausage and extra cheese thrown on top ! And it was cold ! I immediately went back in and showed them the pizza...The older man knew what he did ! I can tell by the look on his face ! He was like it's cold ? Naw it's cold and you gave me an old pizza with the sausage and cheese thrown on too ! I just demanded my money back and told them this was unacceptable! I will not be returning ! I have always come to this place expecting a good meal and I have never been disappointed. Their salad has always been fresh, chicken wings and fries come right out of the frier, and their pizza is always delicious out of the oven. If you come here you will not be let down and it is a perfect place to eat with family. read more

The last pizza we got from there had a soggy crust and just kind of fell apart. The outer crust was charred, but the middle was soggy. I could forgive that, but on my last visit I ordered a calzone, one that they had listed on the menu board behind the cashier. The cashier, a young guy, told me it would be $9.50 something. I told him the board said it was $6.50. At first he tried to say it was tax, but I told him that was ridiculous and again pointed at the board. I tried a couple of times to get him to simply turn around and look, but all I got was a blank stare. He couldn't be bothered with turning around to see what the menu directly behind him said, so I told him to forget it, retrieved my card, and left. Soggy crust might be a one-time issue, but being ripped off is much longer lasting. I won't go back. I like the mom and pop places and fortunately Izzy's is nearby. Their place is cleaner, their staff is friendlier, the food is better, and they don't try to rip you off. read more

Ordered a medium supreme pizza last night and it was the worst pizza I ever had. I've had pizza from this place years ago and it used to be really good- so good that i recommended it to everyone, but maybe they switched owners because now it tastes completely different. The pizza was made fresh, but it was BLAND. And when i picked it up to eat, everything was falling off. The onions and green peppers were still raw. The sauce was thin. The dough still had that raw taste. And no matter how much salt, granulated garlic, and parmesan I put on the pizza, it was still tasteless. To top it off, the young cashier was rude and seemed like he was ready to go 1 hr before closing. I don't need horrible customer service AND bad pizza. At least one has to be good to offset the other, so if you want fresh pizza and good customer service, go to Your Pie instead. ‍ read more

My favorite and only pizza place to come eat. I love how soft and crunchy the pizza is. It's not too thin and not too think. It's your perfect build your own pizza . I normally love their lemon pepper wings however when I got it . It was just too much seasoning it wasn't as good as before. read more

This has got to be the nastiest pizza I've ever ate ! I wonder how what why they got so many good reviews. Pizza is nasty period ! My nine year old son didn't even eat it . I'm born in manhattan raised in the Bronx and Nj so I know what good pizza taste like . Been in Atlanta for 7 years now and still haven't had a so called NY pizza yet here . Stop with the NY pizza signs because nobody in Atlanta makes it . At least all the spots I've been to . But go taste for yourself maybe my taste buds are off lol........ read more

Everything we were looking for. We were headed past on a road trip and decided to stop for lunch. Pizza was great! Portions were amazing and they weren't stingy with toppings. Best of all it was super cheap! So many toppings on my supreme I wish it was a little crisper but over all we had a good experience. I have read some of the reviews and I have seen some people complaining about the prices and to me good pizza is worth paying for and really the prices are low and very very reasonable.Im from Jersey and I am very picky about my pizza just like anybody else that's from up north and this place brought me back home.It gets the full 5 stars from me. read more

In Which I Am Likely Run Off* Of Yelp For Asserting This Is NY Pizza But There You Have It, Anyway It's no Lombardi's or Di Fara or Speedy Romeo. But it's definitely a Sal & Carmine, Ray's or John's of Bleeker St. And just like NY slice joints, this place is nothing fancy. They've got the requisite Godfather and Soprano posters. Early Bon Jovi was playing. Devil horns might have gone up in the air. I only had room for a slice of pepperoni and a coke, but it hit all the notes: delicious, hot, fast, and cheap. Just like you. I really stumbled across a hidden gem when I found this place. The outside advertising is very conservative, and it isn't in an area that is too happening for restaurants. But this place put a smile across my face for the rest of the evening. The inside has a unique decor, and you can roughly read the backstory of the restaurant and owner from the murals. The kitchen is open in the front, and you can see the pizza crusts being tossed and formed. The menu is heavily defined by pizza, but they have other items not unexpected for a pizza joint including wings, a few subs, and appetizers. This is New York style pizza (actually my only experience is NYC style pizza served in Boston). The large pizza is 18" which equates into slices about the length of your forearm. They are big, foldable slices, and the ingredients are amazing. We got pepperoni and sausage, and the sausage takes like it is made in-house. Lots of seasoning. We got an 18" pizza, and garlic knots for less than $20. You can't beat that price, and no chain pizza joint can touch that flavor. We will definitely be back, again and again. read more

Amazing pizza but I'm a fatty I want two! I love pizza man! Such huge pizzas. And it doesn't break your wallet! I promise! They have lunch deals. The lunch deal I get is, 2 slices of cheese pizza with a drink. for 4 bucks. I SAID FO DOLLAS! At first your like, yeah two slices of pizza should fill me up. Regret so much regret! Bring your stretchy pants. These pizza's fill you up! Enjoy your pizza, don't go crazy. But you will. read more

The pricing was excellent and the pizza was decent. I wouldn't say this is the best pizza place I've been to. I've absolutely had better. Which kinda blows because I was looking forward to it... I like pizzas with that crisp edge. Not burnt, but rather has that CRUNCH to it. This was NOT the case. Don't get me wrong, it was a step up from your typical food chain's pizza (i.e. Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, etc) but not entirely blow-my-freakin-mind-away food. I do think the portions are beyond generous and I can appreciate that :) For the price I'll swing by again, and because it's not too out of the way for me. read more

We have only ever had pizza here but it's too good to not give five stars. There white pizza is amazing. Everything tastes so fresh! It's a homey little home in the wall and is perfect for exactly what it is. I wouldn't even change the crazy wall color because it all adds to the place. I've eaten pizza all over the world and am floored that Norcross has better pizza than anywhere else in the south! read more

I stated that I had a two online orders. I provided both names. The man could not locate the order that was under my name initially. I was told there would be a wait for the food. No issue with that. Another patron came in, had a wait on his order and was offered a drink. The patron asked for a Coke, but the man working offered him a beer. I didn't receive that same treatment. Both my orders came out together. The woman asked me to wait to make sure my order was paid for. Based on my experience using the online ordering platform, I couldn't place the order without paying for my food... Once she confirmed my order, I asked for cheese. She acted as if she didn't know what cheese was... so we clarified that we'd like Parmesan cheese. Our hands were out, and she placed it on the counter. I asked for crushed red pepper, and again it was placed on the counter rather than my hand. Very disrespectful and it felt like there was an issue with us as patrons. Will not be back.

I recently visited Pizza Man, a family-owned establishment, and I must say, their pizza slices are generously sized and delicious. The food is consistently fresh, with salads that are always crisp. With 80's music playing overhead I went ahead and ordered my pizza, It's a hole in the wall joint that looked so/so at best. But with the glowing reviews from others I figured what the hell. Pizza Man, your pizza is avg. at best. NY Style pizza? not even close, I'd wager to bet that Manhattan Pizza down the street is closer to NY Style than you are. Wasted our time. We placed an order for pick up for a white pie with chicken cutlet as a topping. I even specified breaded chicken. The guy on the phone could barely speak English and I had to repeat myself over and over. My husband got there and it was a pizza with grilled chicken. They told my husband they don't sell breaded chicken cutlets. Clearly they should have said that on the phone in stead of wasting our time. Will never order again. Terrible service. read more
