I just read about someone experiencing bad phone consultation, and we had the exact same issue. We had a phone consultation scheduled, I took time off work to be able to attend. First, the meeting got postponed and finally, no one ever showed up. Haven't responded to any emails or texts. I unfortunately can't say anything about their food, but the customer service is bad. read more

Awful, awful, AWFUL! If I could leave zero stars I would. the professionalism from the phone consultation, to the food prep, to the portion sizes....not to mention the burnt tasting food....I would have been better off having my children cook the dinner for our event. Not to mention one of the owners, Mia Pacitto, started texting my husband about the payment after the event and ended up hitting on him and had a 7 month relationship behind my back. I was not a fan of how Two Chicks handled our phone consultation. Weeks ago I submitted that we would like a consultation for our wedding and included our budget, which was important to us. Immediately I got an email back giving me times to reserve my consult. The sense of urgency was great! I really appreciated that they got things scheduled fairly quick (2 weeks out booking). Today we were supposed to have our phone consult that we've been excited for, but after a nearly 20 minute wait for them to begin the phone consult, we got a text saying that the last appointment ran a little over. Which was no big deal to us- it happens, we get it. But then we get a text that just says "the starting price is $32pp for your venue" and an email that says "thanks for attending the phone consultation." The prices are not listed on their website so we weren't sure what their range for wedding catering was- the exact reason we wanted the consult. But to first be late to the appointment, NOT even call us for the consult but to text us to say more or less that they are out of our budget, and then send an email saying that this was our consult is poor customer service and I would not recommend them to couples who are looking for professionalism. If you weren't able to fit in our budget, a professional email in advance would have stopped us both from wasting our time and would have left a better taste in our mouth about the company. It would even be beneficial for future couples to see what the price range is so they could better understand if they are interested. If this was handled differently, I could've referred my friends and family getting married to this company if this was something they were looking for, even if it didn't work out for us. But the way that they couldn't even bother to spend 5 minutes going over the base price on the phone, but rather send a text 20 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start says it all. read more

I had a delivery to my venue for my husband's 60 th birthday on May 1st.My biggest investment was on the catering with this company .It was also my biggest embarrassment .The food sat on only one sterno in large pans and was served within the suggested time.It was ice cold.I suspect it was delivered cold.I decided to speak to the owner ,she assured me there would be some compensation and would get back to me.That was a number of weeks ago.After reading another review I now realize Beth the owner and Rachel Nave the coordinator are not interested in doing the right thing.They already have the money so let's just ignore the client and I assume they are hoping that I will just go away .Very disappointed in these Two Chicks... read more

Delicious food prepared and served by delightful people.. My husband and I used Two Chicks and a Pot to cater our (vegan) wedding. We were delighted by the outstanding service and thrilled about the delicious food! Nicole was wonderful, she is such a gem! She did a great job keeping in touch with us throughout the entire process (we live out of state) she kept us up to date and often suggested new yummy menu items just so we wouldn't miss out on anything we weren't already aware of. The buffet set up was wonderful and her staff was super friendly. Beth one of the founders came out (during our tasting) and spoke with us about her food and philosophy, which really warmed our hearts and filled belly's. Did a great job on wedding but have an issue with the bookkeeper/or boss. Owed refund from almost two years ago. Not one phone call has been returned. Have reached a person on the phone a few times and same excuses. Boss will call me back this week or it's been a long time and they're having trouble locating the records. No denial refund is owed. Guess they just don't feel like it. Warning make sure you write a time limit in your contract. Hope no one else goes through this aggravation. read more

Recently went to a wedding where they were the caterers. After serving only three tables of twenty, they ran out of the prepared food. It was more than forty minutes to get more food to the other guests. They were slow on clean up, delivery of food, and serving of the cake. Go with another caterer for your special day! read more

The food is fine, but the service is terrible. We got married over a year ago & used 2 Chicks b/c we assumed that we would receive attentive personalized service if we went w/ this company. This was a huge mistake. On the day of our reception, 2 Chicks had overbooked themselves w/ 5 receptions. Needless to say, a lot of stuff that was in our contract was completely overlooked. I'm actually only writing this review now b/c I was looking over some old wedding stuff & I found an email that I wrote to 2 Chicks after my wedding to complain. In addition to the poor service we received at our actual event, the follow-up response to my complaint was sorely lacking. Here are a few of their reception day screw ups: Was promised things in my contract (i.e. ice bins, etc.) that I had to fight for on the day of my reception. Regarding the ice bins, after I demanded that I receive them, 2 Chicks tardily sent someone in w/ something that looked like a dingy wash basin. Arranged for a single vegetarian meal, which they forgot & I had to insist they bring in mid-reception. By the time it arrived everyone else had finished eating. So despite all the lovely promises on 2 Chicks' website about providing specialized meals, don't expect your special accommodations/requests to be met in an accurate or timely manner. Contracted for Vienna rolls, but received soft bread that I swear came straight from Walmart. 2 Chicks insisted the rolls were homemade, but I have eaten enough pre-packaged dinner rolls to know one when I see it. I definitely didn't appreciate my guests being served factory bread on my wedding day. Was promised that either Beth or Nikki would personally oversee my event. Neither showed. Instead, 2 Chicks provided an on-site coordinator (basically just a server). Problem is, she was entirely unaware of the small details of my contract (hence the above-mentioned screw ups). Bigger problem: Nobody at 2 Chicks even bothered to tell me that this person was my on-site coordinator! Had anyone thought to do this, I could have communicated w/ her in advance and maybe the day would have gone more smoothly. Don't even get me started about the drink service/bar debacle! Suffice it to say, my contract said one thing, & what actually happened was definitely not what was contracted. Overall 2 Chicks demonstrated terrible communication and very poor organization. When I wrote to complain about the crappy service & everything that had fallen through the cracks, I was basically brushed off. The person who responded to my initial emails was someone I'd never spoken w/ before & she clearly had no familiarity w/ my contract. She attempted to explain away every error (i.e. pass the blame on to me) & it was only when I directly quoted her the terms of my contract that she finally apologized and offered to pass my complaint onto Nikki. Guess what? Nikki never responded. The real problem w/ 2 Chicks is the follow through. They will treat you very well through the tasting, the contract phase, etc., but in my case they failed to come through on the day of the event & the follow-up to my complaint suggests that they are not truly committed to providing good customer service. If you want your event to be well-organized, I'd recommend going w/ a different caterer. I will never use 2 Chicks again for any event. The food is fine, but it's definitely not good enough to put up with the terrible, disorganized and highly unprofessional service they provide. read more

I've used 2 chicks & a pot for 2 previous occasions and have been very happy with their service and quality of their product. They showed up on time and had the food from the menu we discussed, servers did a good job of getting the food out promptly and making sure things were restocked in a timely fashion. When the party was over they did great at cleaning up before they left. I don't know what more you could want in a catering service. read more

Two Chicks was AMAZING! I recently got married and was completely impressed with Beth and her team from day one. They customized everything from our dishes we chose to our signature drinks. This was a nice change from the "package" caterers. I wanted a special menu for my new husband and I to pick together! I am also gluten-free and Two Chicks made sure that our menu was still magnificent! I highly recommend Two Chicks and a Pot! The portion they said would feed the amount of people for our event was grossly inaccurate. Perhaps, if they were feeding 100 preschool children this would work. Many people went without a meal including myself. A nice restaurant can "cater" your event for half the price & twice the amount of food. I use the term cater loosely because we had to pick up our own food, as agreed, the same as a restaurant . There was an excessive amount of bread/rolls, so it seems they try to fill you up with that. It was the most expensive dinner roll I ever ate, and that's all I & many others got to eat. Very disappointed. read more
