This is a new barbershop on The Avenue and is the best in my opinion. The location is a spacious environment with great tunes playing in the background. The decorations match the eclectic Hampden neighborhood and display the character of the business. The barbers are friendly and practice safe COVID-19 precautions. My boyfriend drives 25 minutes from our house passing several barber shops in his path and burning up fuel that he can barely afford anyway just to come here. I've met a few of the staff before and they couldn't be nicer people. This is a really sleek, clean shop with a good mix of old school and modern styles. Conveniently located on the less hectic side of the Avenue, you won't have any problem finding street parking. Pop a few extra quarters (50 cents buys you a whole hour!) into the meter to walk through the area to show off your fresh cut afterwards. read more

This place is only a secret because they just opened. A friend had recommended them and they exceeded even his high praise. Not only was the service fantastic, the place is laid out well. It has a very cool ambiance that is welcoming. Upon entry is a standing room area (if you didn't want to sit) with a classic juke box. The barbers are spaced further down with customer seating behind them. It won't be very long till this they are a very busy place. Also, great prices for a great cut.
