The past several months our service is downloading as low as 1.7 - we should have up to 5.0. We recently complained and we were switched to another cell tower. However shortly thereafter the downloading once again became questionable. When we called to cancel our service after installing a new internet service, we were told we should have given them a 30 day notice and we are required to pay for another month for a total lack of service. Most of our calls to their office were treatly as if our business wasn't worth their time. Buyer beware! We refuse to do business with a Company that does not value our service. Barb H.

I cancelled my service for a number of reasons and made an appt to drop off my equipment. I brought everything in but the wonderful employee who can't do his job, didn't scan everything in. So now I get emails saying if I don't bring the equipment in, I'll be charged. Of course you can't reach the store directly so you call their 800#. And of course the person on the other line is blaming me for not getting a receipt. Oh and they need 7 days to find the equipment and during that time I'll still be charged. Thanks Spectrum, the store on Dale Mabry in Tampa and the waste of a customer service person on the 800#. Just confirmed the many reasons of why leaving was a great idea.

People who are here to buy a phone will take a long time with the representatives. Plus the last time I came here and waited to exchange my equipment because the ones they gave me were not working, I waited at least an hour to do a five minute exchange and received no instructions. Got the equipment home and it had the same problem. I called customer support who couldn't help me, so they sent out a technician who told me that I never needed to exchange my equipment. The guy at the store never activated the new router. I made an appointment today. Not that it's going to speed things up. Unfortunately no other internet companies provide service to my house that is right in the heart of Tampa. Whatever!

I learned that when you cal dish or direct a scripted salesperson will take your order then sub out the install to a very low payed installer . Dish and Direct have no one who gets a pay check from them , they use subs. Even if the installer has a truck that says dish or direct they do not work for them they are all subs. Sky Sats installers were great they were grown men with Experience and new their stuff.
