And I am grandfathered into something that is no longer available. But to get a new phone it is the worst experience. Somebody asked me the other day if there's anything worse than going to the dentist? Yes I said. Going into the sprint store. If you want to buy a new phone for your partner for example, and you're both on the same bill. But you wanna make it a surprise, and pay for it in cash and then gives it to them as a present it is impossible. They have to put the money for the phone on a credit card through your account and there is no way around it. Sprint is now dead... so T-Mobile is the king of bad service.

Customer service is amazing at this location. If you are a T-Mobile customer (not many of us left…read morethese days I do believe), make sure you come here before you go anywhere else. Never is there a pushy sales rep looking you over to see if you have cash in hand to purchase a new cell here. Just friendly faces and a willingness to help a new Android user in need. Very helpful employees that let you know how to save money on your bill. They were very knowledgeable, they had answers to all of my questions. The manager Wendell helped me on a number of separate visits. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. The atmosphere was very laid back and I was not pressured at all to buy anything. At other stores, the staff makes you feel like you're burdening them with your questions. But over here, they really took the extra effort to make sure that I chose the correct phone, plan, and add-ons that best fit my needs. Overall I would give this place 4.5 stars. The only reason why I knocked off half a star is because the store is usually pretty busy so you often have to wait for the next available employee to help you. But the only way to fix this is to hire more staff, which may be too cost prohibitive to the company so I don't really hold it against them.

Our business has had a persistent phone issue for the past year and a half. We've had countless…read moretechs from the phone company come by, apply a temporary fix, and head on their way, only for the problem to resurface a few days/weeks later. The issue has been OK for a few months but recently came back with a vengeance. Not only did the Tampa Bay Telephone folks come out for a look at the issue on short notice, they also came back the following day on very short notice to work with the phone company tech on getting the issue resolved the right way! More importantly, they explained what was causing the issue, so I have a high degree of confidence that it won't return, now that I know what was causing it. This is just one experience, but the Tampa Bay Telephone crew were professional, honest, and willing to work with me to actually find the root of the problem, which is something that I've practically begged the phone company to let me give them money to do. Less than $70 later and the problem is fixed. I should've called Tampa Bay Telephone a year and a half ago!

Many of the other phone companies around the area…read moregenerally throw in the towel when they realize the problem is either out of their scope or just not theirs to begin with. Not SGD though, they work tirelessly to fix issues others stop halfway through on. They do more than just phones too. Everything from TV's, security systems, camera networks, and much more. Devin and Gilbert are incredibly professional yet light-hearted and very thorough with their work and with how they explain things to the customer. They keep you in the loop and informed on what it is they're doing and why. The SGD team is the way to go!
