What a frustrating experience!! We went to Solano to get my brother a scooter for school two weeks…read moreago. He wanted to finance it, so we agreed to co sign instead of purchasing outright. We got there around 3:30, filled out the papers and then the wait began. We waited an hour. Then another hour. The guy kept saying it would be ready in ten or fifteen more minutes, but it wasn't. Eventually, we had to leave to get my brother to work. The young man said they would call us, as it would only be a few more minutes. Surprise-No phone call. We went back to the store before heading out of town (we don't live there), and still no paperwork to sign. The manager told us he would have the paperwork ready for us to sign in Jax the next day, which we were okay with. We thought it would be a simple thing. When my brother called to figure out when he could come to sign the paperwork, nobody he spoke with seemed to know what was going on. Due to scheduling issues, he came by a few days later to do his part of the paperwork, and was told we would get a call to sign in Jax that next weekend. Guess what? No call. He called them again and of course nobody seemed to know what he was talking about. I called the store three times and got a "full" voicemail box during business hours. I finally wrote an email to their "contact us" mailbox on their website. There's more than one store in Jacksonville, and we had no idea where we were supposed to go. Finally, we were able to get in touch with someone, and were told the Jax store had all our paperwork in order and all we had to do was go to the correct place to sign. And wouldn't you know, when we got there, that store had absolutely no idea what was going on!!! They had to call the Gainesville store, fix whatever paperwork had not been done correctly, and FINALLY, we were able to sign the title and be done with it. So, yeah, the scooter was fine. The initial interaction was fine. Where this company really dropped the ball was with communication, both with other staff members and with customers. I don't have any problems with the scooter, it was a good price and seems to work fine. I'm happy it's all taken care of and the staff really was nice, but the communication was a real issue and caused a lot of headaches. If they simply talked to each other about what was going on, or called when they said they would, it would have made things a lot easier. I hope this scooter lasts a long time, because I don't want to have to deal with this again anytime soon! A star for the scooter price, one for the available options, and one for the nice (although clueless) staff. It was a real hassle, but it did finally get resolved.

Very disappointed With Solano Cycles. Unfortunately, there are no dealers in my area that sell…read morenew Genuine scooters. I called Solano cycles in St. Augustine, being the closest, but the sales person wasn't very nice and almost refused to send a quote. I then called Solano in Gainesville and spoke with Danial who was very nice and knowledgeable. He sent a quote which was considerably lower than later quotes I received from other dealers. We corresponded via email while I was deciding. The next week I called to hopefully start process to purchase online. I spoke with Christine, who was also nice as Daniel was supposedly busy in assembly. She spoke about delivery cost which was much lower than Daniel's email quote. Anyway, she stated she would have Danial return my call. Later that same day, not hearing from them, I called back getting Christine again and again told that Daniel was busy, but would send correct delivery quote via email and leave message for Daniel. Well, that was last week and no email,,,, no phone call,,,,. Was the low quote a marketing ploy? Do they not want to make a sale? Well, who knows. I can't recommend Any Solano cycle dealers. So disappointed.

Another thing we focus on is positivity in Jacksonville and let me tell you this: our experience at Beaver Chevrolet recently turned into a big positive point for us. In a word: smooth. I called the dealership on 01/08 and spoke to Joe about possibly turning in our lease early. Joe listened to my scheduling needs, asked if he could take my number to continue the discussion via text as my schedule allows. We kept in contact over the next several days until I was certain my wife & I could come to the dealership on 01/13. Joe let me know early in the day that Josh would be taking care of us when we arrived. When we arrived, Josh Driscoll got right to work on options for us. We got to the dealership around 4:30pm with the intention of looking into our options / getting ideas. Both my wife & I were so comfortable with Josh that we walked right through the process of trading our lease in towards the purchase of a 2026 Trax. To give you an idea of how efficient Josh made the entire process; the time stamp on the picture of us with our new vehicle is 5:56pm. Less than 90 minutes from pulling into the dealership to being comfortable with a salesperson to taking delivery of a new vehicle....that's how to do business! Well done gentlemen!

Nothing but problem after problem since my son purchased his very first car from this dealership…read more He put down $8,000 of his hard-earned money, and it's been nothing but a headache ever since. Do not believe them when they say they perform a "100+ point inspection," because they must be doing it with their eyes closed. They missed several major issues right from the start -- including a hole in the bottom center of the front windshield. Then we found out the battery is too small for the car, there have been ongoing spark issues, and now -- multiple times -- we're being told the transmission needs to be replaced. On top of that, the car was advertised as "certified," but it is not GM certified -- and that's a big difference. At this point, I honestly don't even trust them to replace the transmission properly given everything else that's been overlooked or mishandled. What this dealership should be doing is making this right by buying the vehicle back, allowing my son to pay off his loan, and returning his initial down payment so he can purchase a reliable car from a reputable place.

I purchased three four-wheelers for my kids for Christmas. Order placed 18DEC2025, delivered…read more22DEC2025, and they couldn't even manage that correctly. They only unloaded two of the three units because the delivery guy "didn't know there was another one." That alone should have been my first red flag. They drove the machines off the trailer, and I had to push them myself into my garage. These were supposed to be Christmas gifts, not a DIY recovery mission. My kids rode them for approximately two total hours. On 26DEC2025, we went to ride again and one of the batteries literally EXPLODED. Not "went dead." Not "lost a charge." Exploded. That's a catastrophic failure on the second use of a brand-new unit. I contacted the company on 29DEC2025 about warranty replacement options and was told by Corey to come in. I arrived with the battery in hand, which was visibly destroyed. At that point, the story changed immediately. I was told the battery "isn't considered a part" and therefore is not covered under warranty. Let that sink in. A battery somehow isn't a part. Then I was told, "If you don't like that, contact the manufacturer or just buy a new one -- they're like $30 on Amazon." When I referenced the 90-day DEFECT warranty and the 6-month parts warranty, I was met with condescension and told, "If you had read the packet when you bought it, you'd know the 6-month warranty is engine and transmission labor only." I DID read the packet. That's how I know they're full of it. I again pointed out that this was a CLEAR DEFECT -- a battery exploding on its second use -- and asked how that does not qualify under the 90-day defect warranty. The response? "Doesn't matter. It's not a part. It's a battery. They're $30 on Amazon. Just buy another one." This company does not honor their own printed, signed, and confirmed warranty paperwork. They lie, they dismiss legitimate safety issues, and they talk to customers like they're idiots. They hide behind word games and technical nonsense to avoid standing behind the garbage they sell. A battery exploding on a children's four-wheeler is a SAFETY ISSUE, not a customer inconvenience -- and their response was essentially, "Not our problem." STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They will take your money, screw up the delivery, sell you unsafe equipment, and then smugly tell you to go shop on Amazon instead of honoring their warranty. If this is how they treat customers within four days of purchase, imagine how bad it gets later. You've been warned.
