Buyer beware. Dropped my son's minibike off for them to look at. It won't idle. Starts up and runs but won't idle. They said it would cost $475 to fix. I told them not to fix it. They charged me $155 to just look at it and then when I get it home it won't start or run. So they charged me $155 to make it worse. Not a good business. read more

I was hesitant to write this review as I am pro small business. My husband and I bought 2 brand NEW ATVs. From day 1 of taking it home, we had issues with them. I tried to return it or trade it and they offered us pennies on what we paid. They said it was registered already so they can't give us a return or trade. They were not helpful in trying to fix the problems. They told us to sell it on Facebook market place. There are No warranties and customer service here. I would NOT recommend this company. Went to pick up my wheels and tires after getting new tires installed and was missing the rubber valve stem cap. Told them about it and they got me one, no big deal. But my buddy had new tires put on his grom and was missing his front axle nut!!! Then they want to act like it was his fault and "find it odd" that we noticed it a few days after the fact. Run run away fast. This company is a huge scam and is crooked as the day is long. I bought a Chinese unit from them with $1000 cash and a $2500 check and financed $2000. Well my business partner stop payment on the check. The Owner called and told me this and said I had 2 option, he could take the check to the district attorney and get me for a bad check or I could return the unit. So I returned the unit. He was gonna keep my $1000 cash and end the deal. No he lied he took the unit back, got my $1000 cash and collected the $2000 from the finance company and resold the unit. All he had to do was make the phone call and tell them the deal fell through and cancel it. But he got greedy and now I'm being sued. I've called for 2 months now asking for something showing the unit was returned. But I've figured it out. He committed a crime (embezzlement or Fraud or financial fraud - you choose) but that's why I feel like he won't give me anything stating he got the unit back. Then I call and someone said he said he bought the unit back from me. Ummm no sir I never heard that before and definitely never signed an agreement on that. This place is absolutely terrible. It's very rude. It couldn't even balance a motorcycle tire properly and since they couldn't do it, he brings back my stuff and refused to do it because they can't do it without balancing beads when high performers motorcycles do not run with balancing beads. Since they couldn't do it without balancing b, which is unheard of who can't balance? That tire, the guy, brings it back as completely rude about it, then tried keeping my metal valves down. I bought a used 110cc ATV@mopeds and more. It ran fine for about 15 minutes at the shop. When I got home it did not run for more than 30 minutes. I know that I bought it and it was as is. When I tried to explain my situation to the owner. He told me that a mechanic had checked it out before I took the ATV. I tried to get the owner to explain to me how in such a short period of time it could blow the head gasket and The jug gasket. He offered to have a mechanic look at it for $120 an hour. Probably the same mechanic who checked it out and said that it was usable. This is a very dishonest way to do business. I paid $600 to this business. Their product lasted maybe 2 hours. I am in the process of filing a Better Business Bureau complaint. I bought a used Burgman 650 with a trike kit from a private seller about 3 weeks ago. I discovered a key attachment bolt/ nut for the add-on kit was missing. I went to Mopeds & More to ask for help, even though they hadn't sold me the add-on kit. The mechanic was pulled off another job, saw the problem immediately, and installed a new bolt/ nut. Even though I offered to pay for their assistance ( under 10 minutes), they refused payment. I was most impressed and plan to use Mopeds & More for future service on my scooter and the add-on kit. read more

Stay away from this business!!!They are unprofessional and are only about the money with no concern for the customer. They have no conscious or sense of fairness. They do business illegally according to the Federal Trade Commission guidelines and a complaint has been filed with the FTC and a BBB complaint and Law Suit will be filed against them. This business has been treating customers like this for a long time. I will battle to the end for all the consumers they ripped off to try and put a stop to it. The transaction amount was for only $3750. For an owner (Jarod ) to be so ignorant about refunding $3750 must mean him and his business are strapped for cash, another reason to avoid this business!! The motorcycle stalled on the test drive and electrical went dead. After a couple of minutes I got it running and when I got back I told them and the Sales Person Andrew said "no problem it's just because it hasn't been run for awhile. I trusted him, MY MISTAKE. 10 Miles into the ride home the motorcycle completely shut down , stalled and all electrical went blank. This time I could not get it restarted or for the electrical to come back on. I called Andrew and they came and picked up the bike. The next day they called me and said it was a bad battery! I told them no way does a bad battery cause that or act like that. I felt there was a short somewhere. They said no the bike is 100% (that came from the owner Jarod). I told them i didn't feel safe riding the motorcycle and told them I wanted a refund and for them to keep the bike. The owner said no way. They have a "All Sales Are Final" policy. I told him I was never told that or ever signed anything to that effect. He said He would not refund my money and he was sending the bike back. They dropped it in my driveway. After 4 or 5 days I decided to take it for a ride just to see if everything ran ok. On a 5 minute ride the left turn signal would not turn off after I turned it on. It just stayed on solid. The running lights didn't work and the head light would go off then on then off then on. This is an electrical short not a battery. I am going to sue them if this is not resolved. I will update with another review. STAY AWAY THEY ARE CROOKS AND LIARS!! Now they have blocked me from their Facebook page. That's how they deal with customers!! STAY AWAY!! Will not take anything back to this location by Ocala. Appear to be liars who do not take responsibility for what they do. - They kept my scooter for 7 weeks and never called to provide me an update. - They damaged the body components and actually painted and tried to hide what they had done. - Did not put the body components back together correctly. Looks like some tabs were broken so they won't go back together the way they should. - Service department was pretty curt, almost rude each time I called to to get an update like I should patiently wait until they call me. Took in a 2014 Honda Forza for new tires. Replaced while I waited with no issues. Was told the rear wheel bearings needed replacement and I wanted the front rotor replaced & brake job as it was warped. Paid just under $700 for parts. Washed and waxed it and took it in - April 19th. Washed and waxed it then took it in for an overnight stay so they could repair it and I could pick it up on the 20th. No calls. Waited until the 21st to call and was told it was not yet done. - May 5th. called again and was told additional bearings were needed - May 15th. called again was told they are waiting on parts - May 22nd. called again and spoke with the owner Josh. Was told they are waiting for a tool to put a spring clamp on, they were the only shop that would do that and it is suppose to be delivered that day but probably won't get it until Monday the 24th. He also saild that the scooter is drivable. I asked why I've never been called with an update or that I could pick it up and drive it while we wait for all these parts and Josh told me, they are "too busy to do that so they don't." - June 1st. Contacted Mopeds and More service department one more time to ask if the tool had come in and when I could expect my Forza back. Very curt, unhelpful individual (at least he was keeping in character from the other times I spoke with service) said, "Yes, we'll let you know." - June 5th. was actually contacted by Mopeds and More and was told that my Honda is ready for pickup. - June 5th. Picked up the Honda & test drove it. Rode well and I could tell the difference in the brakes. Bike was filthy and looked like there was dried polish in certain spots all over the scooter and some of the body panels were not connected correctly. - June 7th. Went to wash the Forza and found many, many damages that Mopeds and More had done to the bike even trying to hide (the polish remains) some 1) Large gouges on the left lower side (possibly why the fender broke too) but not even smoothed out or painted. (PIC) 2) Large chips out of the paint under the left foot platform. (PIC) 3) Many body parts out of adjustment. (PIC) Not showing all of them, just fixing them myself. June 8th. Contacted Mopeds and More owner Josh and thanked him for not charging me for the addition parts (if in fact there were any) and for finally getting it back to me. He asked me to give a good Google Review and I told him I would give an honest one. I told him what I'd found (all the above) and that I am not looking for any compensation but, wanted him to know. He never said anything to deny, apologize or even acknowledge what I said only "Thank you." After a pause with no response, I hung up. and will never use them again. And of course, as I would have passed along my praises if this had turned out differently, I am passing along this warning to all my social media and friends who ride. read more

I used them for my moped repair and was extremely satisfied. Rhonda is no longer employed at Mopeds and More. I heard she was a nightmare. John is now the services Manager. He was outstanding! Paper work was lost on Rhonda's watch but John fixed that quickly. Was fixed up right away. Then I asked for it to be delivered to my home. The next day was fine with me but as it happened they volunteered to have delivered that day which they did Steve was at my house 20 minutes later. Steve was polite and helpful. Am Luis ortiz i took my bike to fix at mopeds n more hooping they was gong to help me at the end I feel they rip me off I took my bike with oil and they only problem it was they need it to put new wire harness this people took more than 3 month to fix it I had the money to pay at all time but I need it something to move n they was taking to long n I buy a mopeds to go work then they call me I need it to pick it up it took me two months to get it out well finilly I did got it out well am driving home which its 10 minutes away the bike turns off on me try to started I didn't had no spark call them they send a person he try to started he couldn't do it so we put it on back of his truck n he took it back next day I went n they tell me I need to flush my tank went the invoice say they did so I took it home driving it like am old bike giving me problems finally I got it home n put it I the garage n left it there cuz I had a trip to make I tell my wife to call them she did and talk to travis travis told her to bring the bike to the shop we don't have a truck to do it thats why I paid for that service at first so I got back from my trip I call them and I start getting upset cuz this guys tells me that the bike was fix in moth n half went they took 3 month to call me to get it out now it took me 2 moth to get it out cuz I was doing payments now in two moth you don't get ur tank all full of scums they are trying to make me think that becuz it took me 2 moth the talk got mest up am sorry its not the first time I got a bike they want me to pay again to come get the bike n pay for the flushing the tank n if has other problems to pay for them its shouldn't had no problems cuz it came from the shop straight to the garage now this its was they are going to do if I pay for come get it they will call me back giving me other estimate for keep ripping me off just want to let every one know what type of people work on mopeds n more they return my bike with out oil trying to make my bike had problems cuz thats how they win they fix something but not all cuz they want you to go back to them I call them they want to charge for services that I pay already so they want more money went they didnt did the job right so this its going to be the tip for them this its going in all pages from ocala n more to come videos n you guy will know that mopeds n more its just a scam small business read more

They are very untrustworthy people and I high recommend you do not use them.. I took my four wheeler there and was called to pick it up because was supposed to be done. I rarely take the time to write a long review but I felt it was warranted in this case. In the past I had great repair work done here because the mechanics are very knowledgeable. Only bad experience prior to this recent one was when we purchased one of their Chinese made 4 wheelers which was a total piece of junk. It literally fell apart piece by piece until it was a complete pile of poorly made junk. I could not in good conscience sell Chinese made garbage to unsuspecting customers. The front of their store looks like a loading dock in China. The stuff they sell is nothing but a service nightmare which of course is great for Mopeds And More. Hourly service rate is $90 I think which is fine until you get quoted 2.5 hours to do what would take about an hour. I've had tons of service work done over many years at many different locations and I know when I'm about to get ripped off. When I get quoted $400 to replace/fix wiring to a light bar and ignition switch and replace a gasket on an exhaust I know something is bad wrong. The general manager is a young guy with a beard and very cocky and told me that he has tons of customers and basically that he doesn't need me which is fine. I told him there's a lot of idiots who will happily pay whatever they're quoted but I'm not one of them. He agreed to that. So draw your own conclusions. I would not recommend doing business with these people but if you do I would check everything to the letter so you don't get ripped off. Far better off to buy a used Honda than paying ridiculously high prices for Chinese made junk that I guarantee you will break. It's not a matter of if but when. I will miss the mechanics, couple of guys I'm guessing late 50s and very polite and knowledgeable and efficient. The manager in justifying his price told me he had to pay his people LOL. Those poor mechanics are lucky if they're making 15 bucks an hour while he's getting 90 bucks an hour from the customer. Also be prepared to pay $85 diagnostic fee if you back out of a ridiculously high service quote. No hard feelings I just feel bad for the mechanics who are basically running the whole show and getting the crappy end of the stick. The manager sits inside like a big shot while they do all the work. You can't say you haven't been warned. Don't be surprised if after this review you see a bunch of people with glowing reviews about Chinese made 4 wheelers. read more

Purchased my son a $3200 Go-cart for Christmas, he only road it once before the chain broke, it needed to be returned to be fixed. After receiving it back, he road it once and it didn't crank, took it back there, only to receive it back with the exhaust smoking and unscrewed, they have very poor costumer service. Was told they need $70 down to look at it was also told that i would get a phone call later that day with information on how much it would take to get it fixed. I put $200 down. NEVER GOT A PHONE. tried to call them for 2weeks got nothing. Finally went in there and was told that it would be done that day and that they weren't even close to the money that i put down. NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL. Again tried calling them for a week. She finally picked up the phone today and told me that it was done the day after i was in there. BUT WAS TO BUSY TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL ME!!!! Got there to pick it up today and was told that i owed them another $120 for all the time they put into my bike. Looked at the paper work and for the 3 and a half weeks they had it they put in a total for 2 and a half hours!!!!! For parts and lobor they charged me a total for $320 and guess what it still doesn't run right!!!!!! This is not a place of business. Just a place for burnt out bikers to hangout and act like they know what they are doing.
