This was my first time dealing with Melillimoto Ducati. I called before going to the shop and after talking to Sebastian and letting him know the problem I was having with my RC-51. He said to come by so that he could take a look at it. My motorcycle chain and sprockets needed to be changed. We Ordered it that day and Sebastian called me two days later to let me know they had arrived. He got them put on that day. His knowledge and experience was beyond reproach. Although he was extremely busy he took the time to get me back on the road as soon as possible. For all the riders in Ocala and surrounding areas we are extremely fortunate to have Sebastian here. If you're going to invest a lot of money in an expensive Italian motorcycle, why would you not want the very best people working on it. The people at Melillimoto are the very best you can get. The owner, Sebastian, is as good as it gets. He and his staff go above and beyond. It doesn't matter if your in there to buy a motorcycle or just stopping in to grab a t-shirt. The service and personal attention to detail are what keeps me going back. I personally make an almost 2 hour commute each way just to have my bike worked on at Melillimoto. One of the things you will notice about Melillimoto that is unlike most other Ducati dealerships is that they are about racing. Everything they do is about performance. Some places will sell you a bike but Melillimoto provides the full experience. The track days that are put on by them are second to none. Two years ago I moved to central Florida and was in search of a Ducati shop to deal with a warranty issue discovered while living in Chicago. I was fortunate to have an outstanding shop up there and was concerned about matching that level of talent and care in a much smaller market. To my surprise and delight I found Melillimoto in Ocala. They were helpful and proactive in dealing with warranty details so I trusted them with a full service package. The results were beyond my expectations. I returned to Melillimoto last Saturday for maintenance and repair. The staff, from Sebastian on down was professional, polite and attentive. The showroom was clean and well stocked. The only downside to my visit is that I waited for my bike to be serviced and that was enough time for me to catch 'new Ducati fever'. I think they have a cure for that. Beware positive reviews that are several years old; a lot can change in that period of time. This place relies on being the only Ducati shop in the area and doesn't seem to care how poorly they treat their customers. They also don't seem to care to check their work when they're done, or to acknowledge their mistakes. The mechanics were friendly and helpful. But the management/front office, that was a whole other story. Overall, their attention to detail was lacking, and now I have to bring their mess to the Ducati shop in Jacksonville. Hopefully they will do better work there. I doubt their customer service could be worse. read more

Worst Customer Service Ever I had road my MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR to there shop back in June with a miner problem as I have a warranty on the bike I was told right off I should have called as they are three months behind in service work but they would do me a favor by giving me a appointment on the 29 of July at 1030 so on the 29th I went there and was there at about 0930 and as soon as I went through the door the lady at the front desk started giving me a hard time as I did not call saying I was coming, not saying anything as I was over a hour early . She then tells me I will have to pay in full for the part that was covered under and would not refund me my money till they got there money from the warranty company so there are talking 3 to 4 months or I can leave my bike to cover the cost of the part that means no riding for 3 to 4 months Its just a bad Tachometer. I've been riding and racing for over 45 years and no dealer has ever done this. I told her I just wasted another day as I was leaving and not coming back telling her this is not how you run a good shop and she got real nasty as I left. I stop just down the street and called the dealer in Tampa and talked to the service manager and told him the problem and he was to surprised of what the were doing and they would help me any way they could to get this all fixed read more

Have bought, sold and traded bikes with the fine folks at Melillimoto. I have subsequently sent multiple bikes in for service without ever having a reason to complain. Here's a brand new review, not years old (covers 2012 to present) Simply the best small shop for service, and motorcycles in the SE. A few helmets in stock, and they can order other gear, w/discount when buying a bike, but not the place if you want to shop for gear. Nice family-run shop, even the dog pulls some duty, w/2 of the top Ducati mechanics in the USA. Recently added MV/Agusta to sales, and they service many brands. Bought both my bikes there, considering a 3rd. Highly recommended. read more
