Trucks been in shop three times in the past 8 months for same issue of clunking heavily in automatic transmission at coast and downshifts. Latest time they found metal in rear differential and had to rebuild. This last time they told me that this is normal for Ford trucks to have pound clunking from transmission which no one told me when I bought it. So stay away from new Ford F Series trucks. I happened to be their very first mobile service customer on 4/22/2022, when they came to my home and fixed a recall issue on my new F-150. They did a great job, and were fast, courteous, and professional. Today, TJ and another technician came out to do my truck's first oil change and tire rotation. Once again, they were fast and very professional in how they took care of my vehicle. The mobile service was an extra $39, which I was more than happy to pay. I didn't have to drive anywhere, I didn't have to leave my vehicle, and I waited comfortably inside my own home while the Ford guys did their thing. Awesome service! They've basically stolen my truck because they screwed up a repair. It's been around a year where I pay, have insurance, but it sits in their lot. My son broke down on 95, so we had it towed to the nearest dealership. It's an old ranger I had bought for him for school and he was helping his sister move. It ended up the entire rear axle needed to be replaced. They said they'd do it and it took quite a while. I kept offering to take it locally, but had no reason to not believe them. They did eventually find a replacement and made the repair. Took a nice chunk of change to do it, but we were happy to get it back. A little while later it starts making a lot of noise. We brought it to our mechanic down in the Oviedo area. What he saw shocked us. They axle they installed had "NO OIL" written on it with large letters. It also had garbage bolts holding the plate. Basically they never put oil into their replacement. It's an oversite, but it needs to be replaced again. It's all covered under their warranty. Well now it's months, no contact, they just keep saying the truck is in bad shape. It's the trucks fault, but funny how they cannot prove the part they installed is working. I say I don't care about the rest of the truck, just replace the axle correctly this time. No comment. I've asked for a refund, nothing. Now it's just held hostage and calls are not returned. It's obvious that if the axle was fine they would prove it and give us back the truck. But you can easily hear the issue when it's on a rack. So now we're out the cost of the truck, my son is in school and I can't afford another vehicle. We're out the cost of the repair and we have to deal with this monster that wants to hide behind their desk. Thanks Dave! read more

Went in for tire rotation on my electric vehicle. 3 days later all my tires were flat. went in to fix a computer issue. was told on the phone I would get a loaner car. you don't get a loaner if you do not buy from them! I was very upset because that is not what I was told on the phone. Service manager came over and was abusive and condescending. When I told him he needed to look at my tires too he gave me my keys and refused service. I know it sounds like I was an angry abusive customer but that was not the case. I am a 64 year old woman who was just trying to get her car fixed and receive a loaner to be able to get home. This service manager was not helpful in any way shape or form. This morning I called the Service Department to make an appointment to have my car inspected and see what would be needed to replace and / or upgrade. I have a 2006 Explorer XLT 4X4 with 80K original miles. My last time using this Ford Service Department was way back maybe 5-6 years ago. We agreed on a date / time and she said you might have to leave your vehicle overnight. I asked why? She said they are always very busy and it would take 3-4 hours before they even got to my SUV. I asked then why bring it in so early? "That's the way we do business here!". I said this is why I stopped bring my car in. I was mad and called look sweetheart, and right away she jumped down my throat and said my name is Shirley. I was not going to deal with some woman libber like this and hung up. PROTECT YOUR ELDERS FROM THIS COMPANY! On Monday, October 23, 2023, my aunt purchased a used vehicle from Palm Coast Ford. She is suffering from cognitive decline and typically does not know the current year. I called immediately after she told me about the purchase as she could not tell me how much the vehicle cost, the APR, or who even financed her. (With her credit locked down with Lifelock, I was quite alarmed she was even able to be financed.) She could not find a copy of the contract. I requested a copy of the contract over the phone after telling them I am her durable power of attorney. They declined and said she would need to come to the dealership to get a copy of the contract. I stated I would come to the dealership with the DPoA. I went to the dealership on Saturday, October 28, 2023 with a copy of the DPoA and waited for the finance manager. He was busy. I asked for the sales manager and explained the situation and asked for a copy of the contract. He took the DPoA with him and came back and stated I would need to bring her in. I declined as the DPoA gives me all rights to handle ANY and ALL financial affairs for my aunt. He went and got the General Manager Don York, who aggressively came at me with my DPoA papers and stated that he would not read it as he didn't have time and I would have to bring her in or come back on Monday so somebody else could read them. I declined again and said you just have to read this section and he started began to berate me in front of his sales staff. My husband, who is mild mannered and everybody's buddy became upset with how he was speaking to me. At that point, I decided it was time to leave as I won't be disrespected by some man who obviously has something to hide. I certainly would not bring my Aunt back there where they will speak to her like that and embarrass her. It has become very clear that Palm Coast Ford does not provide good services nor do they care about customer satisfaction at all. I recently got a new set of tires and have had to take my vehicle to another shop to be fixed. Two visits and 10.5 hours later I was left with a vehicle that shakes at any speed past 50 mph and three different tire pressures (They did fix the right drift but that's about it.) I called the service department today to get the alignment reports and DOT numbers so I can get recall notifications. I have yet to receive the information and got the impression that I may not be given it. When I called a second time to check on the status of the information I was told that "the service manager can't just come to the phone whenever." I also recently got an oil change, hence the new tires, and the service report has no information checked on the right brakes. Were they looked at? What else was overlooked? My mother purchased a truck from here about 4 years ago. has been spot on with bringing it in for service on the date or before and had never once been informed of anything that needed to be fixed at any point of these 4 years of her bringing it to them. recently she was driving the truck to Ormond beach and randomly the vehicle started shaking and bucking. she had it taken to Jon Hall chevrolet and the service there was so nice and they informed her that her transmission fluid had never been changed and it ended up totaling the transmission. 6800$ to replace the transmission. I talked to palm coast fords service advisor and went through any service recommendations and they had never once informed her of needing any sort of transmission services. they always told her that her truck was in perfect condition and did not need anything. they have been extremely unhelpful and. Rude. they basically told me that it took too long for them to inspect the transmission and so they never did it. they said it was my responsibility to request the service to be performed even though she asked for a full inspection every time. save your time and money. stay away from here read more

I took my 07 F150 in to have my check engine light diagnosed. I was told that the diagnostic charge would be eliminated if I decided to go ahead with the repair I was told my VVT solenoid and camshaft sensors needed to be replaced so I told them to go ahead with the repair a day later they call me and tell me that I actually need a new engine so when I declined replacement of the engine due to the cost and the year of the vehicle, I was not only charged for the new parts that were installed, but I was told that my truck was able to drive out of the parking lot and to my home after paying $800 and still having to pay a diagnostic fee I got in my truck and barely made it out of the parking lot before having to call a tow truck. My truck ran worse than it did when I brought it in. I have tried contacting the service manager, three different occasions with no success. I feel like I've been taken for a complete ride and also upon picking up my vehicle I was told different information about what was wrong with my vehicle then what I was told by the service advisor I was originally working with. So not only was I charged $800 for a vehicle that ran worse than it came in, but I then had to pay an additional hundred $125 for the tow. I made a service appointment 2 weeks out, when I made the appointment I asked if rental cars were available and was told we use enterprise. I said great can you arrange one. I was told yes they could have a car available to rent. I show up..I am told they don't do rental cars and nothing is available. The manager basically walked me out of the building and said my car is not in warranty and nothing he could do. I said I don't expect you to pay for anything but your reservation person told me they could arrange to have one available. I received a call from a car salesmanager to purchase at my car. Upon arrival the salesman looked over the 2020 Ford Mustang with only 4,900 miles. No scratches no dents. Premium blackout edition. No accidents. Upon their conclusion they stated that they couldnt make an offer. They said that what they wouldnt offer me enough. I asked what their offer was. At first they refused, then they offered $34,000 and wouldn't even write the offer up. No explanation nothing. It's started well when the salesman thanked me for my service and Bronze star then it went down hill from there. I've had my vehicle serviced there but I will never give them my non-service business. Have a 2019 Ranger 4x4 that was found at 36,208 apron. miles to have a Caliper that had failed and locked up. It had burned up the pads to almost metal on metal and the yet it made no noise nor did it pull. Warranty ended at 36,000 and yet all knew it had failed much sooner based on wear to disc pads. Palm Coast Ford refused to honor warranty as it was past the 36,000 regardless of knowing it failed within the first 36,000. I should have never taken there as I purchased at a different dealer due to pricing. Repair cost $1300+ as calipers had to go along with pads and rotors. I would suggest if you need service for a Ford, go to Gary Yeoman as I have a Honda from Yeoman and the Honda service is second to none. Avoid Palm Coast Ford at all cost. read more

Basically we took your Lincoln navigator to the Ford dealership to have the windows, air conditioning fixed and new tires rotate and balance placed on the vehicle. We spent thousands of dollars to have the AC fixed and new tires put on the truck. They never diagnose the windows or gave a reason why. When mounting new tires on the navigator they broke one of the four tire pressure monitor gauges. They would not take ownership for it and tried to charge us an extra $250 to replace the sensor they bro and refused to take credit for breaking it. The service department is either lazy or deceptive. My wife brought her vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation, which the service advisor acknowledged. I even warned her ahead of time to check her tires to make sure they were in fact rotated. She received her vehicle back with an unusual quickness and checked her tires. Guess what, they were not rotated. The service advisor was notified and the vehicle was sent back for its tire rotation. Upon receiving her vehicle back again, it at least looked the like the tires were in a different spot. However, after I inspected the vehicle later, it looked like only one side of the car's tires were swapped. A front tire still remained on the front. Come on man! I do not recommend Palm Coast Ford as a place to buy your new vehicle. They are not a reputable business from my experience . As someone who has been buying automobiles from dealerships for the last 45 years this was the worse experience of my life. I do not know how this could have happened but I guess as a senior citizen, they saw an opportunity and jumped on it. I should have known better but I was screwed royally but the floor manager. He is a master at making numbers dance in the dealerships favor and they train very well at their skills. That's why he is the floor manager. Hope he enjoys his special place in Hell. The internet price of the truck I bought was $46,193 (the advertisement that the sales man Chris sent me to my phone when he contacted me) marked down from the MSRP of $51,180 but he (the floor manager) decided that the sales price would be $49,322 and than after that came the con job of the rebates and my vehicle trade slight of hand. Of course they had an explanation for everything as they are hustling you through the purchase process. I wanted to finance a portion of the purchase and being that it was a Holiday, I was only able to get an application with FORD MOTOR credit company. Yes, I should have waited until the next business day. My credit score is 845 and they slid in a 4.99% rate. When questioned about this later, the mumble jumble of the rebates and BS started again. Even Ford Motor Credit would not talk about it when asked. I should have listened to the other reviews but I thought I would give them a shot as they are a hometown dealership. They are no different than any other dealership. They probably should be in the casino business too! read more

Ok, so my 10 am appointment means nothing as it was 10:45 before my car even moved to a parking place and still Has not been touched. I was told after they checked it in at 10:45 (I was in line at 9:40am ) it was going to be 5-6 hours just to diagnose it. What ?????? So we purchase several fords a month for company cars (I put on 26k miles on a car ever two months x's 40 employees so we go through new cars quickly. Anyway, I do not understand why I was told they didn't even have a loaner... I could get a rental under the wArranty unless it was over 4 hours and the original 5-6 hrs didn't count.... We recently had to have a costly repair to our 2019 Ford Super Duty while vacationing in the Palm Coast, FL area. I called the service department at Palm Coast Ford and talked to Christen, a service advisor. From the moment I first talked to her, she went into action on our issue. She set up towing to the dealership, set up a rental car while the truck was being repaired and advised us to contact our insurance just in case it was a covered item. While the truck was in the shop, Christen keep us informed every step of the way on the progress of that repair. She assured us the lead diesel mechanic, Tony, was the right person to do this job. It the end, we were convinced he was the right person as he performed his job efficiently and completely. Christen also did a stellar job working with our insurance adjuster making sure they had all the necessary affected parts available for inspection. Good customer service is in short supply these days, so it is very gratifying to work with someone who understands what excellent customer service is.
