I brought it in to Haseleu's Transmission, and they ended up recommending I have Ward's diagnose the issue--as at first appearances it seemed to be an issue more on the electrical side. I brought it in to Ward's, and they were able to carefully track down the issue. Once they figured it out they carefully explained the issue so that I understood the problem and then their recommended plan of action. At that point they did not pressure me at all, but told me if at all uncertain about what way to proceed to not rush it and to take some time to think about it before deciding what to do. They wanted me confident and satisfied in the decision before making it and were fine discussing and researching different possibilities. Then, when an unexpected family emergency came up with one of their founders and they needed to pass the work back to Haseleu's to actually do they completely and absolutely refused to charge me for all the diagnostic work and time spent explaining things. When's the last time you felt you owed a mechanic something and he wouldn't take it? There are some first rate people and techicians there with integrity. Their warranty is also unparalleled... I plan to go back there for anything out of my do-it-yourself skill range, and would encourage you to do so as well.

The dealership bought me the wrong part, so I then took the car to my mechanic, as I didn't feel they were knowledgeable when ordering the part, how can I put trust in the mechanic you send me to, whom I've never heard of (my husband is a tow truck driver in town and we know and have relationships with a lot of the mechanics in our County). Not only did it need a throttle body, but also needed new spark plugs and coils, an oil change. Not a problem. However, some of the coils had ELECTRICAL tape around them, which I dropped off to the dealership along with the original part and receipt for said part along with receipt from my mechanic for verification. A week and a half later, my shifter goes out. $270 and another 2 days in the shop, I got the car back. I informed the dealership of this as well. Then last Friday, April 15th, the seal on my sunroof started to fall in on me. My tags had been due the day previously and when the dealership called to tell me they were in, I let them know about the sunroof issue. His response was "Well, you owe me $59 for your tags, I'll see you when you get here". I hung up....then waited until I gained some composure and called back and asked why on earth, if I've put so much money into this car in the 1st month, why I should have to pay for my tags? And the response I got was "well, if i listened to everyone who said i owed them money, i'd be broke". Now, being the mother to a special needs child with Autism and a feeding tube, my childs doctors are all over an hour away. She goes to a private Autism school that cost more than most colleges on a yearly basis. I absolutely cannot continue to put more and more money into a car to have it in the shop for 10 out of 30 days. I absolutely cannot trust that my child can be transported daily in a vehicle that is completely unreliable. And I REFUSE to be taken advantage of, by anyone. I fight daily for my daughter's successes, and all of my fight goes to protecting and advocating for her. I've brought said dealership countless referrals, my daughters father has bought more than 1 car from them, and they were considered family friends until this situation. Friday after that conversation, I cleaned out the car and returned it and the single key I had to it. I've not heard from the dealership since. DO NOT BUY HERE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! They will take advantage of you and whatever situations you have going on in your life and use them to their advantage. I'm now trying to work with the BBB on exposing this company and their horrible dealings.

After 30 minutes in the customer lounge, I was informed by Service Advisor Joe Kaye that my car needed a new engine air filter and a new cabin air filter. The cost of this service was quoted as $258. Since the cabin air filter ($30 to $40 part) had been replaced just 1000 miles earlier, I was immediately suspect and refused the service. Upon returning home I inspected both filters. It appeared that the compartment holding the air filter had never even been opened for inspection and both filters were far from needing replacement. Reached out by email to both the GM and Joe Kaye the Service Advisor to inform them of what happened and give them a chance to respond. Waited a week and never received a reply or a phone call. Having spent 45 years in the retail automobile business I understand the importance of the service and repair business. What I do not understand or accept is Management not holding technicians and Service Advisors accountable by occasionally checking the validity of their work and recommendations. Am I the only one that they tried to rip off that day?

He was upset that I never called him when arriving to his shop when in fact I called numerous of times days before including the day of.. when I arrived at his shop I noticed there were other vehicles there in midservice that he stopped working on he even left the hood up on one specific vehicle in the back of his shop and i also noticed that he left his phone on his desk while he was away.. being the reason he didn't answer his phone. I would not recommend ANYONE to take their vehicles to be serviced by Dave!!

The dealership wanted almost $1,000 for it, he did it for $250 and he warranties his work. My brother takes his Tundra there and has always been pleased. We have sent multiple friends there and they are always amazed at the service and price. The guy is as genuine as you can get, I won't take a car anywhere else. Whatever the problem is, whatever you drive, if you need any work done at all, call him first.
