Posting my experience to warn others! Please feel free to share…read more I bought a Certified PreOwned 2023 GMC Terrain on January 14th, 2025 from Beck Chevrolet in Palatka, Fl. Since purchasing, the car has left me and my 3 kids stranded on 3 separate occasions all due to fuel related issues with the car. The first time was a sensor that had a connection issue affecting the fuel system, second time was a fuel injector failure that caused a major fuel leak, this 3rd time was a high pressure fuel pump. The most recent time we were stranded it was in the middle of the road with no shoulder to pull off on and we were almost struck multiple times by passing traffic. I also discovered the fuel pump has been replaced in this car TWICE prior to me owning the vehicle. It never should have been considered a certified PreOwned. I submitted a buyback request to GM, because this would fit the criteria for a lemon in NY but since I bought the car in Fl, GM stated that they would only offer me a $1500 Owner Loyalty Certificate to be used toward a NEW GM vehicle only. Even after escalating this to their executive office, this is the only solution they gave. This amount doesn't even come close to the diminish in value from the repairs on the car. There is also a class action lawsuit about these cars with the same fuel system issues that I am experiencing. Despite being a military spouse with a husband deploying to the Middle East any day now, GM refused to make this right. Please do not EVER buy GM. They do not care about you and only seek to profit off of their mistakes further.

They left the truck outside for a very long period of time at their dealership and a rat must have made a home inside of the truck. This was confirmed by my local dealership whom I love but did not have the truck I was seeking so I bought from Beck. We wanted this truck so badly that we paid sticker price for it. There is plenty of money in Beck's hands to play with in this situation. My local dealership is Firkins Chrysler in Bradenton, Florida. I highly recommend them. Beck wanted me to deliver the truck back to them but would not assure me that the chewed-up wiring harness and any other damaged parts would be replaced with factory parts. Without assurances that they would replace the damaged wiring with factory wiring, I could not send the truck to them for repair. This is a new truck. We have had it for less than two weeks. The rat's nest was an old nest. This happened at Beck's yard, not my yard. They even said that they did not trust Firkin's diagnoses. They said they had to diagnose because Firkins Chrysler could be lying and cheating. All I wanted is for replacement parts to come from the Chrysler factory, but they would not guarantee that would happen. It is easy to give 5 stars when everything goes well but a real 5-star company comes through when times are tough. I will pay Firkins Chrysler about $2,000. to have the damaged parts replaced with Chrysler parts. A new truck should be repaired with only new Chrysler parts and the Beck dealership should be honest and foot the bill, but they won't.

My husband reminded them that they told him they do not charge above the MSRP invoice sticker. We negotiated they would trade in our 2018 Dodge Ram 3500 (30 K miles total) at 65K, yet when we sat down with their finance guy, They changed it to 63 K for our trade in and 20 K above the MSRP invoice. Everyone of the Beck Dodge employees LIED to us. Do not do business with these shady characters.
