Came here and the wait time was about 25 minutes. I got the cheese dog with bacon and it was $9.79. I was charged an extra $0.75 for using a credit card which I wish they stated somewhere as this was a hidden fee not mentioned anywhere on the menu. The hot dog came out fresh and was yummy! It was a bit greasy due to all the oil but the dough was delicious and I liked how they didn't skimp on the bacon. I'm glad I got to try it but not sure if I would get this again as $10 is a lot for a hot dog in my opinion that's in Central Valley!

WOW!! BEST PRETZELS EVER, and made to order each time too! This spot deserves more hype! Additional $0.75 with card payment so bring cash. I got their cream cheese stuffed cinnamon sugar pretzel for $9.25, it was a one day only special, announced on @jaypeekneadsdough tiktok. THIS PRETZEL WAS AMAZING, had a nice crispy bottom and was soft, fluffy and chewy! The cinnamon sugar had the perfect ratio of cinnamon to sugar which I really appreciated, not too sweet! The savory, warm cream cheese inside combined with the doughy, sugary exterior was so delicious and delectable, I can't wait until he announces another one day special! All pretzels come out PIPING hot, like you could burn yourself if you eat it right away so let it cool for 10-15 minutes before you start eating. Their normal pretzels range anywhere between $5-$8 each, and these pretzels are HUGE! The owner's tiktok videos are so satisfying to watch that when you eat their pretzels they taste even better because you know how much love and care really went into making these awesome pretzels. Definitely coming back to try their almond pretzel next! They also have another location at the Lathrop food plaza.

Oh my god!!! My husband and daughter stopped by after seeing so many good reviews. This place deserves every 5 star they have, no joke. Everything is so fresh, and the kind owners even gave us a free sweet one to try and I couldn't even wait till we tried it and wow I think I'm a pretzel lover. Thank you guys so much

Wow! So impressed!! Seen tik tok and knew I had to try it, I'm so glad I did! I'm hooked now! The staff was so pleasant and incredibly nice! The food??? Omg so incredibly delicious, hot & fresh and homemade! The lemonade is so refreshing (and I'm not usually a lemonade fan). We will absolutely be back!!

I've been passing by The Grub Hub on 9th for years, never stopping for pretzels because soft pretzels aren't usually my thing. However this resturant kept popping up on social media ans came by to try. After trying them, I was totally blown away! The pepperoni and jalapeño pretzel was amazing, and then I came back and tried the almond pretzel with caramel sauce--it was incredible. I literally devoured both. So delicious! I highly recommend this place to everyone.

another lathrop food plaza try!! i feel like 6.5 seems like a bad rating, but the food wasn't bad it was just fine. it was amazing, but wasn't awful. it was just meh. it smelled so good especially the cheesy dog, but really had very little flavor. the pretzels were cooked perfectly. slightly harder (but not hard) on the outside and a soft inside. the mini dogs had genuinely like almost no flavor somehow but i'd still sit there and eat 40 if they were in front of me. the mini dogs fall out of every single one so be ready to catch it. the cheesy dog also somehow had no flavor despite the melty crispy cheese. the regular classic pretzel was my favorite and the nacho cheese dip made it better but once again the pretzel itself didn't taste like anything. the cheese is definitely one from a can from the grocery store. not the worst not the best.

The one I'm holding is the Almond* Pretzel, and in the back ground is the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Pretzel (I bought it in Feb 2024)

I absolutely love their almond pretzel, it has the perfect amount of crunch and it isn't too sweet. It's one of my favorite sweet treats in Modesto (I don't have a photo of the almond pretzel I just ate right now, I finished it all before I remembered to take a picture lmaooo) Honorary mention to the seasonal pumpkin spice pretzel from last year in February. Just... wow. In town for work with my beau and staying right near the food truck plaza. We had a large lunch and were looking for more of a snack for dinner, after seeing this place it was a no brainer, as I absolutely LOVE pretzels. We got a Hot Cheeto (which also has nacho cheese to help the Cheetos stick) and a Cheddar Jalapeño. It wasn't busy, so we were given a buzzer and told about 15 minutes (which is either a bad sign, or a very good one). I can happily report it was a VERY, VERY good sign- both were perfect, though if I had to choose I'd probably opt for the Cheddar Jalapeño. They were hot (even after the chilly walk back to the hotel), flawlessly cooked, and had the perfect amount of toppings to pretzel ratio. They were also really well sized, and basically a meal in themselves. We did grab the cheese sauce for dipping as well, and while honestly not even really needed, it was a splurge that I'd probably make again. Only have a picture of the Hot Cheeto one since we had already made our way through the Cheddar Jalapeño by the time we thought of it. The only downside with this truck, is it has absolutely ruined us for all other pretzels, so take that into consideration. PS: while the Cheddar Jalapeño would have been "safe" to eat in the car or while driving, the Hot Cheeto was fairly messy, so plan to eat it there at a table unless you have a short walk or drive home (because IMO pretzels should be enjoyed hot, and it would be a disservice to reheat these).

I usually go for the pretzels this was my first time trying the lemonade sour but my kiddos loved it can't complain

I had the chance to try Twisties Pretzels at the Lathrop Food Plaza. I am always looking for a good pretzel in the Bay Area, and I finally found one that is good - one that is not hard or too salty. There is a parking area/lot here, but it is usually busy and packed (there is also street parking across the street, if you do not mind a short walk). Since I was not too hungry and was looking for a quick snack, I opted for an Original Pretzel (do not forget to purchase cheese for dipping on the side). They had so many choices besides the Original - they had Almond, Cheese, Cinnamon Sugar, Hot Cheetos, Jalapeño, Jalapeño Cheese, Pepperoni, Pepperoni Jalapeño, Mini Dogs, Cheese Dog, Jalapeño Dog, and Pretzel Dog. If I were to come back, I would like to try their Cheese and Hot Cheetos for sure, and maybe a few other ones as well. read more

First time trying Twisted Pretzel. Let me tell you, they are top notch service. Was even able to pre order through text. Awesome communication and grade A customer services was provided. I ordered the original salted pretzel w/cheese. Pretzel dog and a large blue berry lemonade. Every thing was made to perfection!!! They now have a regular customer!!! Wetzels who? Weather you are in the mood for savory or sweet they have something for you. Pretzels are made to order so expect to wait 10 minutes- but it's worth the wait. I highly recommend this spot! I ordered a pretzel dog a, pizza pretzel, and a cinnamon sugar pretzel! The hot dog in the pretzel dog was very delicious, not your typical hot dog, very flavorful. The dough in the pretzels were great and just as good as the name brand places probably even better! I would go here instead of the wetzel pretzel places in the mall. Service was quick, can't complain. read more

I got to try multiple items from the menu at twistie's including pretzel flavors and dips. I honestly have to say these are the best soft pretzels I have ever had. I'm from Philadelphia where we take pride in and are known for soft pretzels. Twistie's pretzels tops all pretzel spots back home. I plan to go back every time I visit the Stockton area. I also want to add that the man who served me at twistie's today was the most friendly and helpful person I have encountered so far at all of the food trucks in Lathrop Food Plaza. Excellent experience and I would recommend everyone and anyone give them a try. read more

So the wife and I stopped in at the grub hub for the first time. Plenty of great food options but what really caught my eye was the bacon wrapped pretzel dog. Great choice. Crispy bacon, super soft pretzel and a great hot dog. Each component wonderful on their own but put them together and oh boy!!! We've been back multiple times and the staff are always friendly. The items are made to order and worth the 20 wait. We will be back. read more

ok, first time I tried these pretzels a few months ago, they were freshly made, crispy, super hot and flavorful, although I had to wait like 25 minutes it was totally worth it, mind you, there was a line of about 8 people in front of me. last week, I stopped by, guess what? NO PEOPLE in line at all (suspicious), I ordered a pretzel, it was placed in a warmer, made in advance, probably to suffix customer needs in a timely manner, but it was SOGGY, BARELY WARM, FLAVORLESS. I understand people might had been complaining about the waiting times, but what it brought me back, it was lost !!! and i'm pretty sure owners now are questioning: "WHY HAVE OUR SALES SLOWED DOWN AND DECLINED" ???? bad decisions.......I don't want to wait 25 minutes for a good pretzel, but to make them in advance to sell them faster is not the best idea. read more

Man oh man! I would've took a picture but I ate it before the review. But came back to tell y'all how good it was! Customer service was on point learned that was a family owned business. I highly recommend them we bought a pepperoni jalapeño, pepperoni, and a cinnamon sugar. All were made to order and was worth the wait. I will never purchase a pretzel from the mall again thanks to Twisties Pretzels. Last but definitely not least... the lemonade is everything and more! read more

Our fav pretzel place in town, we usually get the almond pretzel it's a really good size and the taste omg . Try to order couple hours before closing they do sell out quick usually we text their number and they'll have it ready for you . The lemonades are pretty good also. Definitely recommend ! read more

Second time here- both times just as consistent as the last- place was busy - had the cheese pretzel this time. Dipped in I think a garlic butter and Dang! Delicious! If this truck doesn't turn into a franchise I would be shocked! Keep it up! I highly recommend this spot ! Dang so good! Need to update - haven't posted the last couple times. But tonite was a destination visit ! Still didn't disappoint! Pretty good size line to order but was quick - was told my order would take about 7 minutes as they make them to order. Twisties is the best pretzel place of all time- it will destroy any favorite mall pretzel you have ever tasted. It really does take soft pretzels to a whole new level. I recommend the jalapeño dog for a savory bite. BUT for the ultimate sweet dessert and mouthwatering treat try the... *drum roll* almond pretzel! Best. Pretzels. Ever. We haven't tried anything from the truck we didn't like. The regular pretzels with cheese, cinnamon sugar pretzels, and the pepperoni pretzels are our favorites. Their lemonade is amazing. Everything is always fresh and made to order. The people running the truck are great. The main guy who takes the orders is really friendly and always in a good mood. (which is a huge plus after going to a few of the other trucks) 100% recommend stopping here next time you go to Grub Hub, you will not regret it! read more

These pretzels. Almond crunch with caramel is terrific. If you get the pizza ones you probably want 2 marinara instead of 1. I tend to run out. Only pretzels we haven't loved was the cinnamon raisin. read more

The Jalapeno Pretzel dog is my favorite. Also a must try is the Raisin Crunch Pretzel with Caramel dipping sauce! Try them and you will not be dissapointed! I have not gotten anything that wasn't absolutely delicious. A must try food truck! read more

I love this place. The people are always friendly, music is great, and I can't even decide what my favorite is because I like too much stuff. The pretzel dog, the pizza pretzel, and the raisin crunch are definitely on top. You can even text and they will make it so it's ready when you get there. They take cards too. read more

Me and my fiancé ordered the Brewhouse Bites Sampler which we both thought was amazing. And then we ordered our entrees: I got the Crispy Jalapeño Burger with sweet potato fries, got the burger well done and asked the server if I could get the onions grilled or cooked due to currently being pregnant; which I mentioned. My fiancé got Tri-Tip Medium well with Shrimp Scampi, Asparagus and Rice. While waiting for our food our server was accompanied by another server and she passed along that she'd be switching places with the server due to heading home and we appreciated that; the new girl was friendly as-well. 20-30 minutes pass and we get our food. Right away food looked great. Although, the onions were not cooked, they were raw; I put them to the side. And my fiancé's Tri-Tip was not Medium Well it was tough and well done; my burger was well done. The Shrimp Scampi only had 5 pieces of shrimp. And I tried my sweet potato fries and they were overly salty like someone had poured the whole salt shaker on the fries. My fiancé also tried them and couldn't eat them either, we both tried to take the salt off and they were extremely salty. We left feeling hungry. I'd recommend if any of you go to a Brewhouse and want to get full, go to the Brass Tap. There's an amazing atmosphere there and doesn't feel as cramped as BJ's seating is.

Beer: They had about 13 different beers on tap, all proprietary brews. We normally stick with IPAs but did try a very nice stout based on the recommendation of one of the regulars. The IPAs were a perfect blend of crisp & hoppy. They had cans to go as well. Customer Service: We had an opportunity to meet the brewmaster, Jonas. He couldn't have been more friendly & welcoming. When we asked for a can label to take home as a souvenir, he enthusiastically gave us 5 different labels to take with us. Food: There was a sign outside that said we could get a free appetizer with the purchase of a pint. Sure enough, we ended up with 2 very tasty street tacos from the food vendor. The employees here are rude and cussed out my husband in front of my 8 year for a bathroom misunderstanding for which my husband apologized. My boyfriend and I came here after seeing them on TikTok, and wow ! they did not disappoint! The pretzels were fresh, soft, and so delicious.
