I stumbled upon them at the local farmers market, here in Modesto. It looked intriguing, so I gave it a shot.   The jalapeno and queso jumped out at me immediately, so I went with that. I also ordered the polo and queso. Both were delicious. If I had to choose one, I would go with the jalapeno. That being said, I found the perfect bite to be a little of both :)  Like the cashier's shirt says, "Good Things Take Time", they do here. Don't be in a rush, but I can assure you it's worth the wait. They hand make it on the spot, so it does take time.

Found them at the Grub Hubs location. The food was delicious! I got a chorizo/cheese papusa and a bean/cheese papusa. They came out piping hot and came with a side of pickled veggies and red salsa. The only downside of the service was the very long wait time for my food once I ordered. To their defense there were several large orders in front of mine. The ladies running the truck were super polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Fun ambiance as we found them located with a bunch of other food trucks.

Finally ! I found legit pupusas. I was so satisfied when I finished my meal. The pork and cheese was thick, and the cheese had the beloved burned leak out of fatness . Most places go with a healthier thinner pupusas. You can't do that, you have to keep it true to its root like this place. So much flavor , and don't cheap out . The salsa is classic, and cabbage is picked right. Just wish the peppers were cut smaller , so I just edit it myself. Many options in this food court , but this was is my go to. They take Apple Pay !

Honestly the best pupusas in the area! My favorite are the Revuelta and the Mix! A must have when in Modesto!

Im mostly rating them based off the farmers market stand in downtown Modesto. I would recommend the chicken and cheese and spinach.

Really good pupusas. They are quick if they aren't busy. Will be returning to try more items on menu.

Best pupusas in modesto hands down! The shrimp and queso pupusa is my favorite next to the frijole con queso.

Pupusas are ok. Workers should work a little faster specially on a Friday and on a busy night. Took over 25-30 min for one pupusa.

I was so craving pupusas. I live in Stockton, so I go to Yelp, and locate this place, I thought…read morethat driving to Tracy would be worth it because of the reviews, however, I was greatly disappointed. If you are going to charge $5.99 for each pupusa, Then at least make them good. I ordered a chicharrón and cheese pupusa and one of beans and cheeses. Once I am back home, I am super excited to finally get to eat and fulfill my craving. First thing I noticed, which I thought was kind of odd, Is that this restaurant uses bags with other legitimate businesses logos/names instead of paying for bags with logos of their own. Opening the cabbage mix that goes on top of your pupusa, I noticed many large slices of jalapeños, which is odd, because I've never seen that before. taking my first bites into the pupusa, l was not impressed because it was really dry and hard to swallow, and not a lot of flavor, so I only could eat half. Moving onto my other Pupusa with the beans and cheese was not that bad. Because at least the beans had flavor. And weren't nearly as dry as the first one, the red salsa that they give had good flavor, but I was really disappointed in the cabbage mix, and the overall experience. I thought maybe I was over exaggerating until I asked my family how they liked their meal, not one person had one good thing to say about their food. $57 down the drain on five Pupusas. Service really wasn't that great either as soon as my daughters and I walked into the place we weren't greeted. There was nobody upfront for at least a good 60 seconds, and the woman just walked up to us Staring at us, didn't ask what we needed so finally after staring at each other, I had to ask her for a menu, so that we could place an order to go. All the other girls walked around really doing nothing, Not smiling, Not even saying hello to customers, but they would gather in a corner, all altogether laughing, but couldn't even crack a smile to a customer. Overall, I think this place needs a lot of improvement in all areas of their business.

I'm sad that I was missing out on this spot! I've been on…read morethe hunt for a good pupusa spot and it's been here all along! Let start off with the service, friendly and helpful! We were greeted right away and seated. The restaurant is big with lots of seating and clean. We both ordered a combo plates. I had the bean and cheese pupusa, chicken tamale, and plantains with beans. The tamale is one of the best ones I've had in the Bay Area. It was made with chicken breast, so no bone in, iykyk. For dessert i had the empanadas de leche. OMG!! So delicious! If you've never tried, I highly recommend. I will say this restaurant is a little pricier than most other pupuserias. But I think it's well worth it! I'll definitely be back.
