My experience working with Planet Honda was spectacular. I was searching diligently for many…read moreautomobile options online. I saw the listing for a vehicle that matched my stringent criteria and made an inquiry. It was at Planet Honda. The whole experience was first rate. The usual auto responses arrived in my inbox and then I was contacted by a real person. Oty was beyond helpful throughout the whole process. She sent me a video tour of the car. I immediately scheduled a test drive for the next day. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was greeted with a smile. All of my questions were answered. I was allowed to take photos of the vehicle and test drove it. Upon my decision to purchase it, with details of my bank auto loan in hand, the steps to come were easy and forthcoming. Oty is an excellent and kindly Sales Consultant. I got cookies and bottled H2o while I waited for the paperwork and final detailing. The whole process took a total of about three hours. I drove off the lot with an extended 48 month premium warranty to boot, and it all fell within my budget. There was no pressure at any time. Mr. Dobrosi, the Business Director, was kind and knowledgeable. He was efficient and even commented on my wicked cool style. Service with a personal touch. The dealership was clean and the staff were all friendly. I highly recommend Planet Honda in Golden, Colorado for all your car needs. Try them out. You'll be glad you did.

They're one to stay away from, especially if you're a woman. They have a lot of "recommendations"…read moreand their prices have increased far too much over the yrs. After many yrs taking our car there, with impeccable service records, they offered a fraction of the value of the car and refused to budge (even after being serviced). We took it to where we purchased the vehicle (much further away) and they bought it for 4x what Planet Honda offered. Photo below shows how they returned our vehicle knowing it was our last visit before selling. They only care about $$, not their customers or doing good, honest business. Won't return.

Subaru EJ25 rebuilt engine for $1450 purchased on 4/18/17, engine died and knocking on 5/14/17 after only 80 miles put on this engine. Heads were rebuilt by Area Automotive & Machining 9/9/16 and ran fine, then developed a rod bearing going bad causing rod noise on start up only, no metal ever drained in 8 months I drove it prior to having enough to buy a rebuilt block from Rocky Mountain Roos. Upon draining oil there was a huge amount of shiny fine metal glitter clearly visible, and metal found in pan after they tore it down. They blamed my used heads, which would obviously ruin my heads and old block if the metal came from them, and never drained in oil changes. They claimed somehow that metal sat in heads for 8 months then all ran through the new block all of a sudden in 80 miles, so wouldn't refund or stick by his 1 year warranty and gave me 3 choices: *Pay them to put block together they said nothing was wrong with, but had metal in oil pan *Take $300 and a loss and leave them the engine *Pick up the disassembled block crank pistons rods bearings in a box It would've took them 1-2 hours to find the problem and put it back together, keep a lifetime Subaru owner as a customer, get good word of mouth spread about their work and warranties, instead they screwed me over for a quick $1450 and a whole lot of bad mouthing to every Subaru owner I know. Not a trustworthy shop at all. Also have a car lot, so i definitely wouldn't buy a used Subaru from this establishment. The tech they have named Aaron is super knowledgeable and friendly, he deserves to work for a better shop and owner who knows how to conduct business in this Subaru loving market here in Colorado!! So if anyone's looking for a awesome Subaru builder/mechanic you need to get ahold of Aaron there and make him a offer he can't refuse.

I used to come here on occasion for a decade. They did a major engine repair: took five weeks,…read moreinclusive of head shop, partial rebuild, and timing belt. Within a week of pickup , car performed perhaps better than before (except fan buzz/vibration). They'd suggested a new check-engine light was due to failed NOx sensor, sure it would be covered by VW's emission warranty. This turned out to not be the case, and although they had a way to verify that (VIN + phone), they winged it, telling me it would be free with dealer, or "about $500" with Euro-Tech. I appreciated that until I learned, after hours on the phone with 3 dealers and VW USA twice, that this replacement would not be covered (VIN settles this). Euro-Tech front office rep Becky, who seemed to gate-keep against talking with owner or mechanics during the main job, took a tense, ominous tone to calls about every 10 days, such that it made me nervous (I felt there was something they weren't telling me). I eventually got to speak with owner's son, who thankfully knows how to speak with a customer well. When it was time to go pick up the car after work near the end of their 5pm close, office rep Becky was curt, hustling me to inform me that "we don't have a bunch of time to stand around and chat." Quite a thing to shovel at a customer who was paying nearly $5k and waiting over 5 weeks for the job to finish. Days later, problems related to the check-engine light and apparently-related AdBlue warning came to a head: NOx sensor they assured me would be warranty-covered (which if they weren't sure about, shouldn't have asserted covered) led to a warning the engine would not start within 200 miles. I'd updated Euro-Tech's front office rep a few times as I learned more between dealerships and VW USA directly, and landing at a dealership that instead treated me with complete professionalism at each step there forward. This Euro-Tech office rep Becky said she called some other dealership, concluding they said that this repair would be "covered" (without diagnosis, and apparently without VIN check: manual transmission model mattered, which VW cut out of the warranty Euro-Tech was so sure would provide coverage, which basic/reasonable due diligence would have revealed), but this was likely made up. I asked her to instead call the dealership I chose (McDonald), which would be bound by terms all other dealerships have to obey. In her alleged conversation with McDonald VW's service lead, there was apparent confusion about whether I had accepted any sort of "payment," which I had not, but she asserted "you took the money" (was not even offered, as has been confirmed, but she oddly chose to assert this). VW dealer service manager then quickly/shortly verified everything with VW, learning what a basic and proper investigation trail would have discovered (manual model not covered). Oops (confirmed Becky was making stuff up). Not a problem that she was mistaken, but her generally defensive and brutal attitude towards a customer that was actually still considering them for another job was a problem. I chose dealership to fix that for a similar out-the-door price, and I concluded, as long as office rep Becky is at Euro Tech, I'll not return. Had they preferred to get it right, they'd have $700+ more, and 5 stars instead of 1 (would be a 2 for the engine job, but this office problem is big enough to justify this reprise at 1).. Material facts above are all verifiable, and a few years later, I'm happy I've kept my European cars away from this shop. They may try to make snotty retaliatory comments again here too, but I know readers who've been burned by shops here and elsewhere will know to weigh this comment soberly among others like it and positive ones just the same.

I was nervous this would happen again but after going to eurotech, they quickly found the issue and fixed it for a very respectable price. I will never go anywhere else!
