There's a small arcade you can play at for 8 dollars a day and they offer some repair services too. I was able to have an old game of mine with a lot of sentimental value fixed here in like 15 minutes so i was really happy. Service is great and it's definitely a better place to go than a chain store. 10/10

And it's a neat place to just roam around too, to see eras of different games that you might remember as a child. I loved how they had each area separated by system, so you could see games and accessories from whichever console might have been your favorite as a kid and are looking to relive that fun, or are interested in starting to newly collect. Everything in this store was excellently laid out, if I didn't already say that enough. That is not always the case. We've been to similar shops (in terms of what they sell), and they are so cluttered and not shopable at all! There's none of that here. So if you're looking for a great gaming shop with every era of console and genre, definitely check out 8 Bit Hall of Fame next time your'e anywhere near them!

It is located in the Waterford Towers shopping plaza and is by South Beach Tanning Company. Honestly, I have never even noticed this place. But upon arrival, I can tell that it was a pretty laid-back please. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the games and their history, as well as some nostalgic items that were available. They also have lots of Funko pops if you're into that type of thing. I even like the way they use the ticket gun to price various items in the store. It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. Even though it was not a very, very large arcade, It really did bring back quite a bit of memories.

They've got a huge variety of new and preowned classic video games as well as the latest video games such as the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and whatnot. Everyone makes you feel valued as a customer and they even hooked me up with a free Vita 2 SD Card adapter after I bought my Sony PlayStation Vita power adapter. I didn't even ask for it! Whenever I need to do my laundry at the next door laundromat/dry cleaners/real estate agency I pop in here to see what's new and indulge my nostalgic video game needs.
