Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and delicious food. The menu is not too big, and the attention and detail put into the dishes is evident. Absolutely one of the top places we've eaten at in Homer.

We are so full!!! Look at these meals!!! Amazing food!

Customer service was great! We bought a round of beer for the kitchen staff. The steak was amazing and so was the pizza!! We will be back!

Our favorite restaurant in Homer! We tried talking ourselves out of going a second time but weren't successful - however, when we arrived for lunch, realized that they weren't open - second meal at Twisted Goat foiled! We stopped in for dinner and were immediately seated in the small dining room. We chose the Root Beer and Ginger Beer drinks to start. The Ginger Beer was so gingery, it almost hot but really good. The Root Beer was strong but smooth. For dinner, we got the Pasta with Alfredo and Grilled Shrimp. It was the bomb! It was the best pasta I've had in a long time. My partner and I kept taking turns eating it along with the Cioppino that I got. There was a smidgeon of pasta left over that we took home with us. When they say a heaping bowl, they mean it. We finished with the Coconut, Pecan brownie with ice cream. It was subtly spicy with coconut and pecans and just decadent. We were so full when we left. We recommended the Twisted Goat to everyone on our boat the next day and will keep it on our list for the next time we're in Homer.

Great meal at Twisted Goat on their lovely patio.

Absolutely outstanding! My husband and I visit Homer AK every year now. While visiting our adult children and grand baby, we eat at many of the local restaurants. There were two that got a second visit during our two week stay this year. Twisted Goat was one of them. We dined in on our first visit. We were seated on the patio on one of Alaska's finest days of the summer. They had a nice patio umbrella to keep the sun out of our eyes. We had a larger group of 6 which included a demanding 12 month old. The waitress was really on top of it. She really did an amazing job keeping everything coming drinks, appetizers, and the main courses. We had a variety of food which included salads, pizzas, and steak. Everything was absolutely amazing! The star of the show was dessert. I know they do change it up some, but we had a cobbler and coconut cake. Very very delicious with a little ice cream on the side. It was so delicious that one evening when we didn't feel like rounding everyone up to go out again, we just ordered some take out. One of our family members made the drive in from Anchor Point to pick it up, and bring it back home. This meal was just as good as the one we had at the restaurant. The quality of the food is absolutely amazing! The only problem is their pizza has ruined all other pizza for my husband. He compares all other pizza to The Twisted Goat. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work! See you in 2025!

    Mac n Cheese with shrimp!

The Twisted Goat is one of favorite restaurants in Homer. We make it a point to bring friends and family there when they visit Homer. I love the fact that they are open year round! Their menu has something for everyone. They have the best Mac n Cheese in town - only made better by asking them to add shrimp to it. Thank Susie, Josie & Ethan for running such an amazing restaurant.

Great service, cute place. Fish was tasteless. Salad was so so. Pizza looked good but we didn't have it.

Awful food and service. Got charged a crazy amount for overcooked, under seasoned seafood cioppino.

Ordered a pizza take out. Was not impressed with the pizza - seemed a little plain and sparse on ingredients.

Incredibly Rude, won't seat anyone 40 minutes prior to closing. Place had plenty of seats open and food was being served.

That restaurant was…read moreabsolutely exceptional, and when they were at this original location they served wood fire pizzas, and some sandwich options. Homeslice's menu is now essentially that portion of their Little Mermaid menu with a few additions like appetizers & salads. While I'm happy to still have a piece of the Little Mermaid available when I'm down in Homer this restaurant no longer holds the same "wow factor" especially since it's mainly a pizza joint now. This is a seasonal restaurant only open mid May-early September. The pizza is pretty good. The crust is flavorful, and it's got an abundant amount of toppings. But, the pizza can be a bit dry. The crust to topping ratio isn't well balanced. There's basically an entire breadstick as the crust. While they do put a lot of toppings it always seems to be lacking sauce so some bite can be dry. It's sadly not my favorite pizza spot in Homer (of which there are now many--it's kind of becoming oversaturated). The pizzas are all what I would consider California style with some out of the box toppings. They only find in 1 size--12 inches, which is pretty much a personal pizza. We ordered the Thai chicken pizza, sliders & ahi tuna poke. The ahi tuna poke is exactly what used to be served at the Little Mermaid. It's one of my favorite dishes in the state, and is so delicious and fresh. The sliders are also very good. They're little smashed patties that are well seasoned & flavorful. They also have some great crinkle cut fries & house made ketchup. They have desserts, but sadly not their famous carrot cake. We got some cupcakes, and a Rice Krispie treat. Dessert was good! The space here is very small & cramped. It's even less seating than when it was the Little Mermaid. There are outdoor picnic tables as well. It's counter service, and they deliver the food to you. Happy to still have a small piece of the Little Mermaid available!

Mead is having a moment in Alaska, and I am here for it! This meadery opened up about a year ago…read moremaking it the second spot for mead in Homer as well as the 5th brewery/winery in this town. The selection is excellent. There are several different varieties of mead to choose from including a barrel aged series. They also have a list of creative mead based cocktails to add to the experience. Since it was my first time here I went with a flight of 3 meads: the dandy lion, elderflower & Berry Berry. I also have never had a barrel aged mead, and I am a sucker for all things barrel aged so I got a taster of the Buffalo trace experimental 2x. The mead here is not overly sweet. The berry flavor was more tart than sugary, and very refreshing. Surprisingly, (but not so much bc the menu has excellent notes on each flavor profile) the dandelion mead was the sweetest of the bunch. My least favorite was the elderflower. I love elderflower in my drinks, but I felt like the mead didn't really showcase the taste of elderflower. I did like how bubbly it was though as I'm all about carbonation. The barrel aged one was definitely my favorite. It was so unique, and you could really taste the whiskey notes in it. Service was fast and friendly. I believe I chatted with the owner or head brewer a bit who was very excited to discuss all things mead. They do have a build your own charcuterie board selection where the cheese and meats are priced by weight. They also offer a food special sometimes. When I went it was a beef barely soup, but I've seen in Facebook they've also done pizzas, oysters, roasted pig etc. they're active on Facebook and post their specials. There was plenty of seating. Large picnic tables indoors as well as a few outdoors. They had some cool lighting, and a disco ball going inside. The music was funky. You could also peak into the barrel aging area. Next time you're in Homer check this place out! They're definitely doing mead right.
