The place looked super cute inside but I got a slice of the mushroom and thyme to go. I feel like the size was fairly generous. The crust had a nice chew and the toppings tasted fresh. Would definitely come back and eat in to take advantage of the water view. read more

Finally made it to Finn's -- on their last open weekend of the season. The woman working the counter and bringing out orders was very helpful and welcoming. Finns is an intimate boardwalk space that fills up rather quickly. Luckily, we seemed to make it there at a good time. OMG --Finn's pies are a must! Their menu wasn't overwhelming but it was still difficult to make a choice. We went with a large "Bronko." The coppa was perfect. The pie was thin crust and crisply. We ordered a few brews to take in the beach views while we waited. We can't wait to return! read more

Walked in on a weeknight without a reservation so unfortunately we did not get a chance to check out the upstairs space. They were kind enough to offer us seating upstairs before the next reservation but we would only have had 35 mins to eat. Very nice of them to check though! We got 1 large pizza to split between 2 people. We got the margarita marscapone on one half and the green pie special on the other half but just with zucchini I think. A trip to Homer is not complete for me without at least one visit to Finn's pizza. It has expanded its its pizza offerings after some obvious strikes of culinary creativity over the weekend, making it even harder to decide what to order. I ended up eating in a cup of the day's fresh homemade soup, which was a white bean sausage fennel, and it was delicious; I don't even like beans, and I wish I had ordered a bowl. To take out, I ordered an 11 ounce classic with salami and mushrooms, a fresh green salad with dressing on the side, and polenta with cheese toping. I had some of each for dinner last night and tonight's and they were each delicious. Finn's sources very fresh greens for its salads and these were just outstanding, as was the pizza, maybe the best pizza place in Alaska, in my opinion. read more

The service was wonderful and the views are better than most pizza joints could ever boast about. While we were eating, a giant bald eagle flew right over our heads. Wood fired pizza goodness!!! We got a three cheese with pepperoni and the Greek. Thin crust, you definitely need to bend the slices. If your kids are used to Pizza Hut, they'll think the crust is 'soggy'- but it wasn't. We had a lovely experience here! I was able to call ahead to check if there was seating available. The staff were friendly, the views were great, and the pizza was so yummy. It can be a bit confusing figuring out the layout. Would definitely recommend calling ahead or making a reservation if you can! We really enjoyed getting to watch our pizza being made from above. After 4 days of wilderness camping and packrafting, it sure is good to come back to Homer to some fresh pizza within walking distance of your water taxi! Finn's was amazingly good! We were starving after getting off a fishing tour and found Finn's tucked away. They had a nice warm cozy seating area above the restaurant that overlooked the spit and was incredibly dreamy. The pizza is wood fired and I'm still reminiscing about how great the pear pizza was. They had a ton of local beers, wines, and ciders to try. We went with the ciders and we're blown away at how subtle but tasteful they were. This is the best pizza outside of New York I have ever had. I had good friends tell me it was amazing and I was blown away by how good it is. We have been here twice and both times they did not disappoint. We had the blue pear the first time and the bronko the second. The pizza is thin crust and it is cooked to perfection. For other who have commented on things being burned crust should have nice blisters and should get nice and toasty at the bottom. Definitely the best pizza in Homer. We haven't ate inside yet but they do offer indoor seating with a reservation. We love the outside seating though thanks to the great view and don't plan on going inside any time soon. Dogs are also allowed on the back patio and for some reason there is always a spot to sit. This is our current favorite spot in town. read more

We were hoping to get seafood in Homer but everywhere was either fully booked or closed. This place saved the day with their wood fired pizza. It was quite busy when we arrived around 5pm on a Sunday. We ordered the Greek pizza and Pepperoni pizza for 4 people. 2 was plenty for us and we could have had a 5th person eating as well. The crust was thin and flavorful. Definitely recommend the Greek pizza with the feta, artichokes, tomato, and basil. The only downside is the pizzas range from $26-$32. Lovely place on the water right on the main strip in town. They also sell by the slice and had a house salad option and various beverages and wine and beer. read more

Amazing wood-fired pizza on The Spit. We had the house salad, polenta casserole, and Bronko. The salad was light and fresh, and the polenta casserole was excellent. The polenta was perfectly cooked to be tender and chewy in the center but still crisp at the edges. It held up well to the sauce and cheese. The fresh herbs on both the polenta and pizza stood out. And my goodness, the coppa! Just delightfully salty and toothsome atop the super thin crust. Truly a delightful pizza - one of the best we've had anywhere! read more

Hands down the pizza you'll find anywhere. Great soups and salads too. On the water with a great view.

The pizza was great and the view was gorgeous. Just the vibe we were looking for - low key, slightly funky and delicious.

Service was great, crust is very thin, authentic, ingredients and toppings are wonderful. My only suggestion is to tend to the charring on the bottom of the pizza. When you get black residue, it ruins that bite the whole way through. Won't stop me from coming, but be mindful of what's on the stone, it transfers. read more

Nice spot on the spit, we have been coming here for the last six or seven years when we are here and the place seems to get better and better.. Today we enjoyed a couple of pizzas with a few beers.
