The service was wonderful and the views are better than most pizza joints could ever boast about. While we were eating, a giant bald eagle flew right over our heads. Wood fired pizza goodness!!! We got a three cheese with pepperoni and the Greek. Thin crust, you definitely need to bend the slices. If your kids are used to Pizza Hut, they'll think the crust is 'soggy'- but it wasn't. Just think crust loaded with topics. So good!

We had a lovely experience here! I was able to call ahead to check if there was seating available. The staff were friendly, the views were great, and the pizza was so yummy. It can be a bit confusing figuring out the layout. Would definitely recommend calling ahead or making a reservation if you can! We really enjoyed getting to watch our pizza being made from above. I've been thinking about this pizza ever since!!

This place was so good that we came back 2-3 times! The ambiance is incredible - beautiful views of the beach. The waitresses are SO nice and friendly. Everything was a great price point too. Now, about that pizza! The pizza was good. I'm a tough pizza critic but I thought they had some unique options and everything was cooked well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Homer!

amazing view, the salad and pizza were good and came quickly. bottom floor is for walk-up orders or you can reserve a table on the top floor.

Finn's was amazingly good! We were starving after getting off a fishing tour and found Finn's tucked away. They had a nice warm cozy seating area above the restaurant that overlooked the spit and was incredibly dreamy. The pizza is wood fired and I'm still reminiscing about how great the pear pizza was. They had a ton of local beers, wines, and ciders to try. We went with the ciders and we're blown away at how subtle but tasteful they were. Despite being a bit spendy it's worth a try, it seems like most of the items are organic & locally grown/sourced too :)

This is the best pizza outside of New York I have ever had. I had good friends tell me it was amazing and I was blown away by how good it is. We have been here twice and both times they did not disappoint. We had the blue pear the first time and the bronko the second. The pizza is thin crust and it is cooked to perfection. For other who have commented on things being burned crust should have nice blisters and should get nice and toasty at the bottom. Definitely the best pizza in Homer. We haven't ate inside yet but they do offer indoor seating with a reservation. We love the outside seating though thanks to the great view and don't plan on going inside any time soon. Dogs are also allowed on the back patio and for some reason there is always a spot to sit. This is our current favorite spot in town.

We were hoping to get seafood in Homer but everywhere was either fully booked or closed. This place saved the day with their wood fired pizza. It was quite busy when we arrived around 5pm on a Sunday. We ordered the Greek pizza and Pepperoni pizza for 4 people. 2 was plenty for us and we could have had a 5th person eating as well. The crust was thin and flavorful. Definitely recommend the Greek pizza with the feta, artichokes, tomato, and basil. The only downside is the pizzas range from $26-$32. Lovely place on the water right on the main strip in town. They also sell by the slice and had a house salad option and various beverages and wine and beer.

Enjoying delectable, freshly made, scrumptious pizza in beautiful Homer in our cozy van.

Great pizza but $80 dollars for 2 15" inch pizzas was a little too pricey for my likings.

That restaurant was…read moreabsolutely exceptional, and when they were at this original location they served wood fire pizzas, and some sandwich options. Homeslice's menu is now essentially that portion of their Little Mermaid menu with a few additions like appetizers & salads. While I'm happy to still have a piece of the Little Mermaid available when I'm down in Homer this restaurant no longer holds the same "wow factor" especially since it's mainly a pizza joint now. This is a seasonal restaurant only open mid May-early September. The pizza is pretty good. The crust is flavorful, and it's got an abundant amount of toppings. But, the pizza can be a bit dry. The crust to topping ratio isn't well balanced. There's basically an entire breadstick as the crust. While they do put a lot of toppings it always seems to be lacking sauce so some bite can be dry. It's sadly not my favorite pizza spot in Homer (of which there are now many--it's kind of becoming oversaturated). The pizzas are all what I would consider California style with some out of the box toppings. They only find in 1 size--12 inches, which is pretty much a personal pizza. We ordered the Thai chicken pizza, sliders & ahi tuna poke. The ahi tuna poke is exactly what used to be served at the Little Mermaid. It's one of my favorite dishes in the state, and is so delicious and fresh. The sliders are also very good. They're little smashed patties that are well seasoned & flavorful. They also have some great crinkle cut fries & house made ketchup. They have desserts, but sadly not their famous carrot cake. We got some cupcakes, and a Rice Krispie treat. Dessert was good! The space here is very small & cramped. It's even less seating than when it was the Little Mermaid. There are outdoor picnic tables as well. It's counter service, and they deliver the food to you. Happy to still have a small piece of the Little Mermaid available!

Mead is having a moment in Alaska, and I am here for it! This meadery opened up about a year ago…read moremaking it the second spot for mead in Homer as well as the 5th brewery/winery in this town. The selection is excellent. There are several different varieties of mead to choose from including a barrel aged series. They also have a list of creative mead based cocktails to add to the experience. Since it was my first time here I went with a flight of 3 meads: the dandy lion, elderflower & Berry Berry. I also have never had a barrel aged mead, and I am a sucker for all things barrel aged so I got a taster of the Buffalo trace experimental 2x. The mead here is not overly sweet. The berry flavor was more tart than sugary, and very refreshing. Surprisingly, (but not so much bc the menu has excellent notes on each flavor profile) the dandelion mead was the sweetest of the bunch. My least favorite was the elderflower. I love elderflower in my drinks, but I felt like the mead didn't really showcase the taste of elderflower. I did like how bubbly it was though as I'm all about carbonation. The barrel aged one was definitely my favorite. It was so unique, and you could really taste the whiskey notes in it. Service was fast and friendly. I believe I chatted with the owner or head brewer a bit who was very excited to discuss all things mead. They do have a build your own charcuterie board selection where the cheese and meats are priced by weight. They also offer a food special sometimes. When I went it was a beef barely soup, but I've seen in Facebook they've also done pizzas, oysters, roasted pig etc. they're active on Facebook and post their specials. There was plenty of seating. Large picnic tables indoors as well as a few outdoors. They had some cool lighting, and a disco ball going inside. The music was funky. You could also peak into the barrel aging area. Next time you're in Homer check this place out! They're definitely doing mead right.
