Are you debating where to wine taste? Or host a fun small private event? Either way, look no further! Twisted Barrel is cute, welcoming and lovely. I was impressed with the white wine tasting menu- everything was terrific! Joy (Joelle) was so lovely, knowledgeable and made the wine tasting experience five stars! Wow! Can't say enough! I'd join the wine club for sure!

A little bubbly, why not??

My friend Nadia has a membership at this beautiful winery! Right off the jump we were greeted with big smiles! It's always a beautiful family vibe at Twisted Barrel. The wines pair so well and at the end the bubbly made our visit extra nice! The mini charcuterie plates were a hit song with the various popcorn selections! This place in Lodi is a must try!

This is a little slice of America. Their opening day was awesome lots of food good music and really nice people. A lot of the people seem to know each other. Good family feel here. The wines were really excellent I like the Alicante. Will be returning here in the future.

My friends and I had the best experience here yesterday! We did 4 wineries in Lodi and this was our last. I initially was not going to wine taste here, but man I was in for a treat! The winery is located in an industrial business area which doesn't look too appealing, but believe me it's worth it! When you walk in, it looks small, there is the checkout and we were impressed by the free popcorn stand. We were a little late, got there at 405 and they close at 5, but still seated promptly and welcomed. It is all tables inside with a cozy homey vibe. Denise, the owner came over and gave us this amazing charcuterie board (see photos) and said it was for us. We thought it was a mistake and double checked, but she said it wasn't and that was free with tasting!!! It was one of the best charcuterie boards Ive had and she easily could have charged $75 for that. It was perfect because we were hungry, but also great quality with smoked salmon, 4 cheeses, gooseberries, pickled asparagus, honeycomb- just all kinds of amazing things! I've been to a ton of wineries and never seen something like this given out. Brock, the son of Denise was super friendly and explained all the wines and background of this family winery to us! He was gracious and welcoming! All bottles are $23 and 2 of us joined so they didn't charge us tasting fees. Their Barbera was sold out, but I need to go back to try it! All their wines were tasty and paired well. This was such a great experience, go check them out!!

Such a great vibe, so homey. Owners are so nice and welcoming. Popcorn and bake goods were available to enjoy at no cost and wines were really good! Will definitely be back!

Absolutely fabulous experience at Twisted Barrel. Came as strangers, felt like we left as part of an extended family. Wines were tasty, hospitality was outstanding and the recommendations for other wineries to visit in the Lodi area were spot on. Highly recommend Twisted Barrel if you're in the Lodi area.

Very nice place for wine tasting. Service was great. We called 5 minutes before arriving and they were happy to have us.

My family and I stopped in a few days ago. First timers though I've passed by many times. The two ladies that helped us were so pleasant and fun. It's beautiful inside the little tasting room. The barrel walls are so cool! We tasted the Barbera and Sangiovese since they were having a super good deal on a half/half case. We ended up getting a case. They're delicious everyday wines. I poured a couple of the bottles that night for a private event and had great reviews on it. I gave their cards out and recommended they go in.

Tasting and available wine menu from May 2021.

Twisted Barrel is located in a parking lot with commercial building units so parking is plentiful. They're currently tasting outside in the parking lot and they make do with what they have. Wines are solidly pleasant and very reasonable priced. Staff was friendly and helpful. Most people go home with a case of wine since there's a deep discount for a case sale. Give it a try!

Always a must for me.

This is my favorite stop in Lodi by far. The delicious varietals offered here are amazing. I looked all over for a good Sangiovese in the area and successfully found the most delicious one I've ever had! What's even better is the laid back feel of the environment and staff. Jessica is our favorite when we visit. She's always ready to chat and makes you feel like family. This small family owned winery has an awesome back story. Stop in sometime and discover why they are growing so quickly. You will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed the wine flavors here a bit better. I'm more for the lighter white wine selections these days. They gave me good options. The outdoor garden area with patio seating is pleasant. The expanse of the vineyard itself is amazing in the forefront of blue skies and sunlight. Lots of parking is available on their gravel lot. What I do know, cuz of my sis, is that they're a dog-friendly establishment. (Please remember to bring appropriate snacks and drinks for the pups.)

Treated us with respect and kindness the whole time we were there, this would be our first time going there. But the two ladies behind the bar !wow! talk about purposely making you feel unwelcome, giving us side eyes... like if they were above us. I didn't like or appreciate that kind of attitude towards ANYONE this is a business there are certain protocols that need to be followed, regardless. We weren't being disrespectful or loud! In my family We are taught very early on to be very RESPECTFUL. Anyways, I put my feelings aside and I didn't let the two females ruin MY day. We had a wonderful time, Because we chose to dust off the bad vibes. And make it a memorable day with my sisters and friends. I probably will be going somewhere else, the next time I want to do wine tasting again. IMPROVE; I would say maybe a lesson in bedside manners for the 2 ladies behind the counter. We too have all color friends. And welcome them with open arms. * I do want to say to our tour guide T you were so kind on Saturday. Thank you!

We were quickly greeted by the friendly female hostess who offered us either indoor or outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoors to enjoy our tastings of both whites & reds . Normally I prefer reds however in the summer I enjoy a crisp Sauvangion Blanc or even a nice Rose. If you purchase a bottle your tasting fee is waived which is always a great deal. We enjoyed ourselves so much we returned for the Alpine Block party event which included tastings at Stonum Vineyards and two other nearby wineries. This fun filled evening included live music, food trucks, and the Lodi Wine trolley shuttling you back & forth between the wineries. Definitely a good time! I highly recommend Stonum Vineyards & Tasting Room for great wine, friendly service and well coordinated, entertaining events.

I had driven by many times and it seemed like an appointment only place but I guess now they have enough staffing to open up the hours and days of the week. First, their reputation has always been very good. They've had some recognition from some reputable wine sources so I had very high expectations for the wine. In, short, the wines were very good. They had a nice selection from rose to the more Lodi styled red wines. I really did enjoy all the wines and the price point seems fair. I guess I was kinda hoping to meet the winemaker, learn more about their vineyards and purpose for growing certain varietals. When you get wine with a story it makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I really like this place and I'm hoping to make a stronger connection with the business since I consider myself an advocate for Lodi wines since my hobby is to compare our wines with the best out in the other regions of CA. Pretty heavy competition but so far Lodi is more than able to compete with certain types of wines aka Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Syrah and occasionally Cabernet.

The ingredients were fresh, and watching the pizzas come together right in front of us in a mobile wood-burning oven made the experience even better. We enjoyed a Hawaiian pizza that had a little kick thanks to a sweet chili sauce--sweet, savory, and just the right amount of heat. We also tried an off-menu standout: a fig and prosciutto pizza finished with fresh greens and a beautiful balsamic drizzle--absolutely incredible. On top of the amazing food, the owners, Teresa McCord and Ryan McCord, were so sweet and genuinely customer-focused, which made the experience even more memorable. We paired the evening with wine tasting and ended up picking up a bottle for the owners of Lodi Fired Up Pizza, along with a bottle of Barbera to take home for ourselves. Such delicious wines all around. Beautiful patio and tasting room! All of this took place at Jeremy Wine Company in Lockeford. Even with a bit of wind, everyone was raving about the pizza pop-up. We came for Sunday lunch with family and were seated right away. Our waiter was great -- he checked in on us regularly and even refilled our drinks without us having to ask, which was a nice touch. I ordered the Greek salad with added salmon (+$8) and it was a great choice. The portion was generous and came with a slice of focaccia. The salad had mixed greens, olives, artichokes, feta, and red onion with a really tasty balsamic vinaigrette. Our table also ordered a cheese pizza, Caesar salad wrap, and the chicken pot pie. I had a bite of the pot pie and it was incredible -- definitely ordering that next time. Bonus: they offer a free wine tasting with the purchase of a meal, which is a fun extra. We got the foccicia bread basket as an appetizer and it was really good, herb, olive oil, soft bread like a sponge. The chicken pot pie was excellent, full of flavor, great crust and good filling. For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come.
