We are hungry! We are looking for a place to eat and enjoy some great wines that Lodi produces So my buddy finds Oak Farm vineyards where we can dine and enjoy some great wine with our meal The food was pretty darn good bountiful to say the least. I can't say much about the wine because we decided that we will have wine with the tasting which we will do after our meal. OK, the venue. Clean, sassy, and convenient if you are in the low die area. The process. Reservations required if you plan to dine. Reservations required if you are going to wine taste. Reservations cannot be combined. One of the many places you can go if you're looking for wines, but, this place was convenient because you can have your meal and then wine taste. I suggest though if you're going to do this place find out what the procedure is before making any decision decisions. Reason I say that when we are ready for a wine tasting, we learned that we needed to make the reservation separate of our dining reservation, with a waitlist in front of us. That said we did not do the wine tasting rather we each ordered a glass of a wine which they were pouring. Price point? $20 for five tasting set. $12 a glass for exactly exactly that, a glass of what you select. I had to minus one star because the process was not clearly explained to us in advance. Updating my review after a year as an Oak Farms wine club member. I joined last year with high hopes. I'm a member at eight wineries, and Oak Farms initially stood out because of the excellent service we received from Ted. Their wine is delicious and the property is beautiful, but unfortunately the customer service has consistently been disappointing. During the August 2025 pickup party, my girlfriend and I had reservations on the East patio. We didn't realize the band would be performing on the opposite side of the tasting room. When we asked to move, we were told we could not because our reservation wasn't for that side. We eventually found a lounge area near the band and were told it was fine to sit there, but when we asked to leave our sweaters while grabbing more wine and snacks, we were told that wasn't allowed. The lack of flexibility and hospitality was frustrating. I decided to finish out my year and then cancel my membership. At my final pickup, I was offered the usual option to exchange a bottle. I accepted, only to find out afterward that the exchange was processed at full price because I had canceled my membership -- even though the original bottle was refunded at the member price. When I asked about it, I was told they could not honor an even exchange since I was no longer a member. At that point, I simply asked for my original bottle back. This is not the level of service I've experienced at other wineries. The wine and ambiance are wonderful, but the customer service and lack of accommodation (both for members and non‑members) ultimately led me to end my membership. read more

We visited Oak Farm Vineyards for the first time today. The property is stunning as well as the tasting room and patios that surround the beautiful barn style building. Our server, Noah, was warm and friendly and we have enjoyed talking with him. He went above and beyond to answer our questions and to provide a thoughtful, enjoyable tasting experience. Robynne was amazing!! We had such a great experience with her, and she was so great at explaining all the wines, as well as the process of how they were made. The wine tasting we had was such a great enjoyable option, and we got to choose 5 wines for $20. I loved the award winning options, and we even got a couple bonus options to try. I loved all of them! Beautiful property with a lot of charm, but the check-in process for both the tasting and restaurant felt disorganized and a bit chaotic. The food was solid, though not particularly memorable. The tasting experience itself wasn't very relaxing--being limited to the bar made it feel crowded, with guests packed closely together. That said, the setting really shines outdoors. It's a great spot to grab a bottle, enjoy the patio, and take in the atmosphere. The standout for me was the red wine "Vapor Trail"--rich, smooth, and worth revisiting. We arrived here just when they opened so it was nice and quiet. We first started off with food. I got the chicken katsu, thin chicken slices with a nice crunchy crust with a side of potato chips. Burrata was delicious and came with cherries on the side which tasted so fresh. Garden sage biscuit had jalapeño cream cheese so there was a nice kick to it and the biscuit is huge! Then we did the wine tasting. We were able to pick five from their menu and had extra splashes of wine that we were interested. The host was amazing and attentive. We brought our out of town family for a visit. Unfortunately walk in's weren't allowed wine tasting because they were all booked. We decided to get a bottle and a glass of Chardonnay and sit by the Bocce run in the sun. The band was awesome and the afternoon beautiful. We ordered a charcuterie board and the service was amazing. The ambience here is really great and it is very elegant and it is perfect for a French and lunch and wine tasting and even an event as well. . Service was really friendly and they were really quick on their feet. They were very accommodating with bringing hot sauce and Juice when we requested it. . The Highlight item that we really like is the Pea Sprout bruchetta which has a grilled sourdough with formage blanc cheese spread. Definitely fresh and different and healthy. . We really like the bubbles it was very refreshing and has a nice touch of Granny apples to the opening of the bubbles. It was not on the sweet side and it was perfect for appearing with lighter dishes that is offered on the menu. . We also enjoy cow's milk Barada which was a very unique dish with Szechuan pepper and a really nice pistachio nuts and honey and the burrata which was very tasty and very complex and goes well with a Malbec red wine. . Overall I will come back and visit this place again with future menus as they do change monthly or whenever the season is in stock with new items. It all started from a glass of 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon I had for dinner at one of my favorite restaurant. It was so delicious that I searched it up to purchase a few bottles. To my surprised, Oak Farm Vineyards not only have a tasting room but also serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. When my east coast family visited a couple of weeks ago, I knew I had to bring them here for lunch and wine tasting. I had an idea what the vineyards looks like from photos on social media but seeing it in person is totally another experience. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. I must have seen at least two staff cleaning, dusting and tidying up the tasting room. I love the tall ceilings, openness, lighting and covered patio. We had reservation for 8 people for lunch and sat at the covered patio. It's spacious and the weather was just perfect that day. Our host/server was Caitlin, and she was incredibly friendly and attentive. We opened two bottles of red wine (Zinfandel and Cab) and pretty much order one of everything on the menu. The food was delicious. Definitely get the French Bread! It was warm and came with soft butter and sea salt. I can eat the whole loaf by myself. You can't go wrong with beef short rib hash and lamb sandwich. Great menu with many shareable dishes and reasonable price. As for the wine, they did not have the 2022 Cab, so we tried the 2021 Cab (Estate Grown). It's not as memorable as the 2022 that I had but still very good. Perhaps it was the food I had that day. We also had the Zinfandel which is my sister's favorite, equally good. Overall, a fantastic first time experience. My sister and I have memberships at few wineries and none of them have real good food, except for cheese and crackers. I'm seriously considering joining their membership. read more

It's hard to choose between which was better, the service or the wine. Ted and Angel were amazing. Angel helped us find gluten free options. The owner also has celiacs so they are aware of cross contamination and the GF bread was wonderful. They were amazing about catering to dietary restrictions and Ted was knowledgeable and welcoming about the wine. We came without a reservation and thankfully they were able to accommodate us for a dining reservation. Our server Dazmen (hope I'm spelling that correctly) was so lovely and personable. He was fun to talk to and gave us wonderful recommendations. He checked up on us quite often without being too invasive. He really made our time there worthwhile. The scenery was spectacular the wine selection was diverse (though I didn't do the tasting). Overall, it's a worthwhile stop. We had a wine tasting with a small group of four, and Jerry was our host. He was incredibly friendly and made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming. The wines were excellent, and Jerry chatted with us like an old friend rather than giving a scripted presentation. He shared the history of the vineyard and explained their winemaking process in an engaging and easy-to-understand way. Oak Farm has great wine, good food, and one of the more confusing welcome experiences I've had in a while. We walked in and were greeted by... absolutely nobody. We eventually found the host stand, where I had to say "Hi!" before the gentleman behind it acknowledged us. I never caught his name (he walked with a cane), but throughout our visit he never checked back in with us. He seemed committed to conserving both steps and conversation. The funny part was that this wasn't just us. We watched another group of ladies walk in and head to the bar, only to be told to check in with the host. They went to the host, then were sent... right back to the bar. It felt like watching a winery-themed game of ping pong. There seemed to be plenty of staff for a Tuesday, but somehow everyone looked busy while nobody was greeting guests. Thankfully, Larissa completely changed the experience. She told us she was new, but you'd never know it from how warm and genuine she was. She was sweet, attentive, and easily the highlight of our visit. Hang on to her. The food was delicious. My only complaint is the $35 charcuterie board. It was good, but the portions made me wonder if the rest of the cheese was aging in a VIP room somewhere. It felt more like a $24-$25 board. The wines, however, were fantastic and absolutely worth the trip. Overall, Oak Farm has all the ingredients for an outstanding experience. If the hospitality matched the quality of the wine, this would easily be a five-star visit. read more
