New England Clam Chowder
Ethan D.

This restaurant is definitely not 3 stars at all. I have been coming to this restaurant most summers since I was a kid. I definitely think the food quality improved. The New England Clam Chowder they make is hands down my favorite no doubt!! You MUST try the clam chowder if you go here. The calamari is delicious however it's a small portion for only 3 people at most. The inside of the restaurant is a sports bar theme and the outdoor patio is really nice with some cornhole games as well. The service is pretty good, it seems like the servers also help out with other duties so they might not be that attentive all the time. Prices are on the higher side. Overall this is one of my favorite stops in Narragansett for dinner because you can drive right down the road to Brickeleys for dessert as well! Overall this should be probably 4 stars on yelp! Reading some of the one star reviews I noticed some were unfair, particularly a couple that were regular customers and had one bad experience.

Beautiful bar. They have many beer on the tap, and the food was good and fresh but the kitchen close very early

Paella

First time here. They have a wide variety of food. The Paella special grabbed me today. It was fantastic. Great flavor, great ingredients. Only 4 stars as I would need to try again to be sure! Ordered the Chocolate Mousse cake. More ale than mousse but the chocolate sauce was fantastic.

This is a spot that gives a locals only feel. So sometimes it can feel a bit unwelcoming. Service is always hit or miss at this place. We keep going back because my husband likes their beer selection and I love their clear chowder. They are running on a limited menu due to COVID. Unfortunately, the clear chowder didn't make the cut. We will be on hiatus from Twin Willows for a bit.

My husband and I got the honey pepperoni pizza, and it was very delicious and huge pretty spicy too! We were able to take some home! My brother got a pulled pork burger, and he really liked it with his fries. Pretty sure he also got loaded fries. He enjoyed it so much he didn't leave not one crumb on his plate, lol. My cousin also got a hamburger and fries, and she thought it was delicious! They also got beers, and everything was pretty good and fairly priced. When I'm around this area, I'm definitely going to come back to this location due to the food itself. Location: This location is huge, and it had inside and outside seating with lots of tables! It's pretty casual, more so a sports bar-type of setting. Pretty nice to bring family and friends to grab a bite or even go on a casual date. They also had private parking, which makes things a lot easier! Service: Service was great. Our waiter was super nice, brought everything in a timely manner, and asked if we needed anything, very attentive. I'm usually not around this area, but when I am, I'm definitely going to stop by to grab a bite here!

I got a small house salad with grilled Mahi Mahi on top (no salt added). My husband got the soba noodles and a side caesar salad. Mine was good and perfectly made, I devoured my entire Mahi salad. My husband's noodle dish was very salty...something to keep in mind...the good thing was that the noodles were soba, so they were mostly buckwheat flour, which is better for you. Overall a nice relaxing dinner and our server was very good, and prompt.

I got the smash burger with a side of fries (shoestring, my favorite). It was delicious, perfectly cooked and not greasy. The bun was sesame bun was so fresh. My friend raved about her shrimp tacos and they looked yummy. We went in April on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy but I know it's a popular place and gets packed on the weekends. They had several TVs and this would be a great place to watch some sports and have a drink. Parking was fine for us but I could see it being a problem when it's busier. The prices were reasonable (great for Narragansett) and I noticed they had different weeknight promotions. Food is ordered on an app and picked up at the counters, sort of food court style. A must visit and I'll be sure to be back!

Let's start off with the fact that currently on weekends from 10-12 if you purchase a cocktail, mocktail or NA beverage, you get a free brunch item. Like, wow! If I was local, I'd be there every weekend! It was so good! I also got the BOONwich for best sandwich RI and it was super creative. They are not playing with food here---they def mean business! Everything is unique and absolutely amazing. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I came in contact with at least half a dozen staff while there and each person was friendly and personable. The ambiance was fun, and looks even more like a blast when it's warm out. I'll def be back!

Our friendly, attentive, wonderful server, Paula, informed us that the entire menu... lunch, dinner and specials... was available from open until close. Sweet! I had been craving ribs, so ordered their half rack of baby backs for $24, which comes with two sides. Their baked potatoes weren't quite ready yet, so I chose the garlic mashed and grilled asparagus. Do you ever worry that something you crave won't be as good as you anticipate? Well, this meal totally exceeded my expectations! The rib meat was fall off the bone tender with a slight char and a delicious sauce. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned with no lumps, and the grilled asparagus was also perfectly cooked. I ate every morsel of food on my plate, which I rarely do. A dog wouldn't have wanted those bones when I was finished with them! My friend ordered the Chophouse burger ($21), which she also thought was excellent. This was an all around great experience. I can't wait to return!

I…read moredon't know why I didn't know this before, but it's an Irish pub with half Mexican food and half regular American pub food. I actually love this because I love Mexican food and my mom does not. She lives right down the street, so I'm happy that I can take her to Pancho's and we can both get something we actually want without compromising. I'm beyond excited for that! I naturally ordered the wings - that's what I came for after all! It was so nice to see a heat level above plain buffalo. The wings were crispy and flavorful. I wouldn't say the "Blazin' Buffalo" was spicy but it was a nice change from all the plain Franks Red Hot wings I've bene having. I suspect the base is Frank's and they doctor it up. I was happy with it. The bartender said they can make it spicier upon request so I will definitely try that next time. I was craving some ground beef tacos, so I ordered that as well. They were pretty good and come with a hefty portion of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled jalapeno, sour cream and salsa to add at your discretion. The tap list is ok - pretty average beers like Bud, Stella, Sam Adams, Narragansett, etc, on tap. They didn't have a cocktail list, but the bartender said they have flavored margaritas so I'll probably try that next time. I got a Stella and that was nice and crisp and went well with the wings. This place is pretty big, with a full bar, and a combo of booths and tables, but part of it is closed off. I went around 2:30pm on a Wednesday so there was only one server/bartender on. She did her best keeping up with tables and she was attentive for being the only person working front of the house. They have a great menu with pub style apps, burgers, and delicious entrees, a comfortable atmosphere, live music on the weekends, and just an over all great vibe. On my first visit, my friend and I both ordered the prime rib, which is a special on Saturday nights. The meat was tender, flovorful, and the portion size was great. It was served with a baked potato (with lots of butter and sour cream), and roasted green beans - all were delicious! Service was perfect - we never had to wait long for anything. Our server was friendly, prompt, and we couldn;t have asked for anything more. My second visit was with my husband and our two daughters. My daughters split the fish and chips and they said it was really good. My husband got chicken and waffles, and I got the prime rib again. Once again, the service was perfect, and the prime rib dinner was outstanding. My daughters went home after dinner, but my husband and I moved over to the bar as we wanted to stay for the live music. The band was called Rash Cat and we really enjoyed their performance. They were super talented and had great classic song choices, and the music was loud enough to provide a fun atmosphere, but also quiet enough that you could still carry on a conversation. I'd definitely go back to see them again. I'd like to come back again to try more of the menu items and to enjoy the outdoor patio & fire pit. What a great RI tavern for all seasons!
