This place is great for being in such a small town. My dad and i stopped for the night in town and because there are only 4 food options, we chose twin rocks cafe. The establishment is clean and nice, the staff is friendly, and the food came pretty fast. My dad ordered navajo taco, which doesn't look like a typical taco you might expect, but he said it was very good. I ordered the grilled ham and cheese sandwich. It was really good but the ham was a little too thickly cut, but that's just my preference. It came with a side of chips, which were lays potato chips still in the bag, but it wasn't really a problem, just surprising. Because of the limited food in town, and how much we liked this restaurant, we will probably come back for dinner and order something different. read more

We went there yesterday for lunch. The service was really good, but the food was pretty bad. I had a cheeseburger and my brother got the Navajo fry bread tacos. Neither dish was good. The hamburger patty seemed like the cheapest store bought frozen patty you can get. Total cost with two cokes and a two snickers ice cream bars was over $40. Very expensive. This is a very casual setting like a cafeteria, set inside a store. The food is really only okay although the owner/manager is very friendly and the service is generally friendly too. Several people ordered the Navajo taco fry bread while two ordered the chicken sandwich with salad and I ordered the peanut stir fry with chicken and salad. On a trip to the Four Corners area, we ate at the Twin Rocks Cafe. To be in such a remote area, it was surprisingly good. I enjoyed the Veggie Panini with a side of beef stew. Good food good service, two things that are hard to find in the four corners. Fry bread was delicious, golden and airy-light. The Navajo taco was fresh and tasty we split that, and each of us had a side salad (freshly made) and the four of us shared the poppers appetizer. They were unique (used fry bread for the coating I think) and very tasty. Not super hot and a good balance between the pepper, cheese, bacon and bread. The other couple had the chicken wings and a Native Taco. Everybody liked their food and sitting out on the deck in the mid=60's weather in late January was so nice. Bottled beer was served with a frosty mug that made the beer freeze a little as you poured it in. Yum! I will drive back to eat at this place even though it is 50 miles away. read more

I went to the cafe with a group, so we were offered a limited menu, but I was favorably impressed. Service was a little slow (it's a small operation), but everything we ordered was good, and servings were generous. My Caesar salad with chicken was fresh and not saturated with too much dressing, and the chicken was tasty, if a bit dry. My glass of Pinot Grigio was very good too. For dessert I ordered one of the pies of the day (apple) a la mode: the apples were not long off the tree, the crust was crispy, and the scoop of ice cream was huge. We visited here yesterday for lunch and was thrilled with the food and service, a whole reason to visit Bluff. This place was the ONLY restaurant within 20 miles which is open between October through January in Bluff, UT. We took a road trip to the 4 Corners and decided to stay the night in Bluff. I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 3 because the staff are very friendly. The food is okay, although a bit on the boring side, although one day they had a steak sandwich special in ash or fried bread (we opted for ash due to less calories), and that was really good. I would advise you consider sharing some of these dishes as they do come in very large portions. The best thing about this place is the friendliness of the staff and their knowledge of the local sites. This place distinguishes itself in Bluff for being pretty much the only place open during the winter for food. The breakfast is ok also, but again not something to write home about. Simple cafe offering a small selection of menu choices. Service was quick, maybe too quick but everything arrived hot and as we ordered it. Towering stacked red rocks literally hang over the building which makes for a cool backdrop, unfortunately you can't enjoy them while eating as the building faces away from the view. we stopped and had breakfast here this morning. it was one of the most disgusting breakfasts that we have ever eaten. the server had the brain of A pea pod and they refused to,make an egg white,omelette stating that they Had a limited supply of eggs and could not make this. I was shocked by the Quality of the food and feel,that the owner is concerned as I.told him the Food was disgusting and that the servers had absolutely minimal training And a complete lack of concern. The dinner menu also features a broad selection augmented Fridays and Saturdays with Prime Rib and Salmon specials. And when I order rare or medium rare they know how to present. Try the "Dry-bread" if you're averse to oil fried foods. This is the same dough as a Navajo Fry-bread only grilled not deep fat fried. Makes for a great sandwich in lieu of regular breads. This is by far the place where I had the BEST meals in a long time, and better than ANY of the restaurants I went to in Park City and Salt Lake City. Best meals I had in Utah. I tried the chicken noodle soup because I wasn't feeling well, it was homemade and the best chicken soup I ever had. Other times I had the vegetarian burrito which was AMAZING who could ever make a vegetarian burrito so good? Some kind of home made sauce in it. All their food tastes like an amazing home cooked meal, and they have a lot of local specialty things like navajo fry bread and navajo tacos and such. ALL THE FOOD HERE IS SO GOOD and the service is good too. One interesting thing is that we were pretty much the only americans eating there, everyone was a tourist from Europe or Asia.
