As we approached Blanding, we looked at Yelp for breakfast dinners in Blanding. Came across Yaks and pulled in. Walked in and immediately fill in love - very much of a family feel. Got seated right away and got some delicious coffee right away. We ordered then the Maricopa happened - everything we ordered came out fast, came out hot and came out delicious. Breakfast quesadilla was so big my wife took half to go - and it was delicious. Biscuits and gravy was some if the best we've everything tasted. My BIL had the Yak special and said it was so good, he'd order it again. Best breakfast though was my Skie Burrito! I've never seen this on any other menu before and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten for breakfast. So good, I asked to go back in the kitchen and personally extend my thanks and appreciation to "mama". If you're ever near Moab, take the hour long trip down to Blanding to experience this place.

They have a number of shirts, blankets, jewelry, local stones and art for sale. High Desert Cafe has two separate counters - one for coffee and tea drinks and the other one for food. The food menu has a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, breakfast items, smoothies and ice cream. It was early, so we ordered breakfast burritos and coffee on it. The kitchen staff was nice and chatted with us while they cooked our food. There is a small dining area where you can eat your meal when it is ready.
