Cedar Shack Cafe is located at the Bluff Dwellings Resort in Bluff, Utah. It's an outdoor Cafe with a health conscious menu with breakfast, smoothies, brick oven pizza, wraps, and poolside or room service. Dinner time I ordered a Margarita Pizza and a (6) pieces of plain Chicken Wings with Buffalo sauce on the side. It also came with ranch dressing, carrots and celery sticks. The pizza was delicious, really good brick oven pizza! Chicken wings were very satisfying, lots of meat on them. We enjoyed a dinner and breakfast here while staying at the Bluffs Dwelling Resort. It was super convenient to order from our room and then go pick it up. For dinner, we ran into some issues with our food not being ready when the website said it was. So they gave us a buzzer and said they'd let us know when it was ready. That gave us some extra time to scope out the resort and get settled. We really enjoyed our pizzas. My youngest also loved her Red Bull Mirage with raspberry syrup and berries. I enjoyed the Lime Ricky with is a Starry with cherries and limes. We also ordered from here for breakfast. The Nutella French toast was great! I enjoyed mine with bananas and my youngest enjoyed hers with strawberries. My oldest liked her breakfast burrito. I also ordered a coffee, added chocolate, and it was unfortunately, not very good and I ended up tossing it. They have plenty of seating inside as well as outside. The place has a nice rustic feel to it. Can't beat the convenience and the views the resort offers. read more

We stumbled upon this cafe as there were not a lot of food options on a Sunday evening in Bluff. Parking was no problem and we were greeted and given a menu as we walked in. Great little find in a cute little town of Utah. We were heading home after a full week of camping/hiking in the Grand Escalante. I had a southwest wrap my husband had a pineapple and bacon pizza. Both were very good, my wrap came with some tortilla chips and salsa. Fountain drinks were flat, but otherwise very satisfying visit. Nice staff and great shaded patio. read more

We were here twice. Once for delicious, fresh ingredient wraps and back for wood fire pizza. Both visits were delightful to sit outside and enjoy the view. The first visit the woman at the counter was exceptional. She is an excellent ambassador for the business and the community. I'm sorry I didn't make a note of her name because she deserves a bonus with a round of applause. You do wind through around the spa, near the pool to find this small kitchen but the food was worth it. read more

This little gem is in the best little hotel in bluff. It's a cute little shack that serves great coffee. There is a little patio out back. Good service with a friendly staff. Worth checking out. read more

The food was okay, but it was just too hot. We knew it was shack and thought they could maybe have sth water mist sth to help cooling the place down some. It is all self-serve, so u take the food from the window and put trash away and trays back. After we sat down, somehow it got busy - we were the only customers there when we walked in. JS enjoyed the salad and the pizza was alright. Some customers after us ordered ice cream scoops on a waffle cone; the portion seemed generous but we didn't remember the price. Like any sites around this area, the prices are on the higher end. $20 is pretty much the base price for any pizza w some meat. read more

We passed this while en route from one national park to another. We just happened to find this cafe along our route since neighboring towns had pretty limited food options. We did wait some time for our food as it's all made to order. Service was great too! Maps gave us a bit of a wrong location though. We came to Cedar shack cafe right after they had closed and Cheryl, who was on duty at that point, was kind enough to make us weary travelers, a couple of salads, which we really appreciated. Stayed at Bluff Dwellings late summer and this is the on-site eatery. It equals the quality of the overall resort! Food is simple yet elevated. The flatbread with artichoke is amazing. All salads excellent. And we became addicted to the smoothies. Breakfast is also inventive. Most important-the staff. They were friendly and made suggestions there and things to see and do nearby. I recall how one night they stayed open 2 HOURS LATE to serve people coming back from day trips. And they did it with smiles. This place becomes the hub for gathering. The staff helped make the meal pleasant by their smiles and willingness to help me out (I use a stick for walking and can't carry much). Opened March 2020. Great Pizza, breakfast burritos, smoothies, espresso, and salads. Very Covid friendly at reasonable pricing, not typical of such an exquisite resort. The restaurant is open to visitors snd guests of the resort. Absolutely fabulous atmosphere. Situated inside the gorgeous Bluff Dwellings Resort and Spa, order and sit fireside with lots of outdoor seating in this temperate and peaceful canyon watching bats fly overhead in the evenings. Quiet, tranquil, atmosphere that invites you to stay and relax on your journey. No gas stations, no tourist traps but plenty of parking for RVs and SUVs alike. The food and service are fantastic and this very critical Yelp reviewer was so impressed, I had to add this hidden and unadvertised treasure to Yelp for the masses to enjoy.
